Reflecting back on
the Shrine Game

We always hear about the
players selected each year to play
in the annual East/West Shrine
Football game. And we hear who
the coaches are that will lead each
team. But there is always one
group that we do not hear about.
Cheerleaders!!!
Cheerleaders are just as part of
the game as the players and coaches.
Glasgow has had cheerleaders
that have participated in the
Shrine Game. The first Glasgow
cheerleader to be on the East squad
was Kan Hanson in 1980. Alison
Robotham won on the 1991 cheer
squad. Madison Hansen was a
cheerleader on the 2014 East squad.
Aimee Plummer was on the 2009
squad. Last year Ali Cunningham
was chosen, but due to COVID -19
there was no game played.
This year Glasgow has another
cheerleader chosen to represent the
East squad. This cheerleader has
been on the sidelines in football

Betty Lund Young; Savannah Young
Betty Jane Lund, 86 born in Glasgow ,MT passed (- Jorden); Johnathan
