Unfortunately, we do already have a record for this category

specific subject area and that of records as a whole and this is
our decision.Guinness World Records have absolute discretion

The publication note in the Second Episode by Mr. David

Farid Al- din Attar is considered one of the preeminent
mystical poets of the Persian  Literary tradition. The duration
of his life is uncertain, though he can be placed in the 12th
and 13th centuries c. e. born in Nishapur in what is today
Iran, Attar apparently  was a pharmacist, but little
information about his personal life is known. During his
lifetime he is believed to have written approximately 9 books,
including such famous  works as the Manteq Al- Tayr ( the
conference of the birds) and the Ilahi- Nama (the book of
god) . Muslim Saints and Mystics is an abridgement,
translated by A. J. Arberry, of Attar' s only known prose work:
Tadhkirat Al- Auliya ( the memorial of the saints) , which he
worked on throughout much of his life and which was
available publicly before his   death. In what is considered the
most compelling entry in this book, attar relates the  story of
the execution of Hallaj, the mystic who had uttered the words
“ I am the  truth” in a state of ecstatic contemplation.
Arberry's translation is an abridgement; the entry on Owaise
Al- Qarani translated by  Mohammed Abdul Hafeez, B. Com. ,
Hyderabad, India, omitted in Arberry' s text, is included in the

Kindly note this episode is very popular on the internet and

many countries, this article is very popular and added on
many web sites for  the public reading as well for the

My three poems

Please find my three poems  which are as follows and these

are well known and famous since my college days and which
were already published in the A.U. College Magazine of
Hyderabad and now I have added these poems in this book.
The Taj Mahal

In the darkness of night

I visited the tomb of white
Full beautiful in the glorious moon light
Shah Jahan’s love and Mumtaz’s beauty
Making fun of today’s love and poverty
No-one leaves without feelings of beauty
After seeing the Taj Mahal’s majesty
The Taj was reminding me the duty of love
And showing the king’s power of love
Even today in the darkness of strife
The Taj is preaching a lesson of love and life.
By Mohammed Abdul Hafeez, B. Com.
-------------------------------------------------------
In  Thy memory

Her death day came with the fragrance of loving memories

Which shaken the depth of our saddest loving memories
Even the seasonal changes and other worldly affairs
Could not diminish away her saddest loving memories
Due to the saddest grief, our souls are broken
We are worldly losers and our hearts are broken
Oh : her saddest memories you must not die
Guide us to cover the deliverances of the world
Oh : the heavenly Lord takes Thou care of this beloved soul
Who never faced any worldly peace and pleasure.
By Mohammed Abdul Hafeez, B. Com.
------------------------------------------------------
The Dim flame

When the flame of her life was going to dim

No one of us not there to say goodbye
It is how painful for our whole lives
That we cannot see her at death time
Death is sure for every human beings
But how her strange death was indeed?
Her loving relatives were far from her
And they cannot reach for the last visit
We should believe in the heavenly Lord
Who made our vast and great human land
Sure, she has gained a position in the grave land
so, We should not worry Allah is great and known.

The author wept very much at the Kazipet grave yard
The author upon his return from his service of the foreign
country visited Qazipet after a gap of many years the grave of
his grandfather and grandmother at Qazipet recently in the
month of May 2014.
When he visited the grave of his grandfather, which is under
a big Neem tree and its shed is spread over large areas of the
graveyard and my grandmother’s grave is situated beside the
grave of my grandfather. Both graves are well maintained so
are available in the good condition.
As the both graves are under the big old Neem tree so there
is too much shade as well as so much cold and peaceful
atmosphere and comfort is available there. So an atmosphere
of peace and comfort is  available there too much due to the
coolness of the branches of Neem tree which is prevailing  in
the grave yard. For this reason   an atmosphere of coolness
and peace condition is there  and  due to this reason there
will be thinking arise in the mind of the  author that  both of
them living in the peaceful condition.
However the author wept too much there because his
grandfather who was administrator of the shrine of Kazipet
for many years and his grandmother who lived in Kazipet
village for many years and she did many endeavour  there
and she helped many needy women and children there so
now both of them   are buried in the graveyard of Kazipet
shrine and nobody is not there in the village to visit them
from their lineage but many unknown visitors are visiting
their graves there and  the author have personally seen many
flowers on the graves which were placed by those unknown
persons.

Connection of the author’s family members with Kazipet

When my grand dad Sheikh Dadan reached Kazipet Jagir on

his transfer from another place and he was attracted by the
teachings of Sufi Center at Kazipet Jagir during the period of
Hazrat Syed Shah Sarwar Biabani Radi Allahu anhu the
successor and son of great Sufi master Hazrat Syed Shah Afzal
Biabani Radi Allahu anhu. When my grand dad became his
disciple and he left immediately the following things.
1 .He left his superior job in the police department. 2. He left
his native place of Medak. 3. He left his big house in Medak.
Due to the kindness and favour of Hazrat Syed Shah Ghulam
Biabani Radi Allahu anhu my granddad had got the job of
estate administrator of Dargah Sharif and a plot of land of
1000 yards from the center of Kazipet village. On this plot my
granddad had constructed a big house (Gulshan Manzil) on
500 yards and one big garden on 500 yards.

Bio, links of the author

My name is Mohammed Abdul Hafeez and I have graduated
in commerce from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India. I
am a Translator of Islamic books and interested in Sufi books
and have translated 58 chapters from the famous Sufi book
‘Tadkiratal Awliya’ by Farid El din Attar in the year 2009 from
Urdu to English and some chapters of the book were
published on the below web site and due to kind grace and
help of Allah there is good response from its readers in large
numbers on so many web sites.
The book ‘Muslims Saints and Mystics’ was already published
by A. S. Noordeen Malaysia and in this book available 55
episodes in the year 2013 and another book Muslims Saints
and Mystics also published by Kindle, Amazon U. S. A., and in
this book lengthy three episodes are available in the year
2014.
I am a retired secretary and worked in a Gulf country for
many years and having one son and his name is Mohammed
Abdul Wasi Rabbani , who was studying in St. Domnics school
Salimnagar colony Hyderabad and at K.B.N. Engineering
college Gulbega and he is an IT Engineer and working abroad .
We are having four little grandchildren and their names are
as follows and among them Shehzan is very smart boy and
my wife’s name is Ather Fatima and my daughter in law’s
name is Juhi Yasmeen and she was educated in St. Domnics
school Salimnagar colony Hyderabad , Vani Girls College and
Madina Girls college as an extra-ordinary and brilliant student
of these educational institutions.1. Mohammed Sulaiman 2.
Mohammed Osman 3. Mohammed Shehzan 4. Sahrish Fatima
I enjoy doing translation of Sufi works and my translated first
episode are available with the following publication note of
Mr. David Rosenbaum of New York Times which is available
on the above mentioned famous U.S.A. website.
At Kazipet Jagir my dad, Mohammed Afzal and my brother
Mohammed Abdus Samad and Me Mohammed Abdul Hafeez
and my sister Meher Unisa were born there. In Qazipet my
father married to Akthar Begum, daughter of Mr. Abdul
Majeed of  Bidar district who was working at that time in the
education department as an education officer. After many
years of service at Qazipet Dargah Sharif (shrine ) with great
fame and good name my grand dad passed away and upon
his death our big house was deserted as all members of our
family migrated to Hyderabad and some other places, but my
grand mom stayed in the big lonely house with her
maidservant as she never thinks to leave the place of his
great Sufi master. Upon living many years there she had been
shifted to Hyderabad when she became ill due to the fracture
of her foot, but due to her great love for the great Sufi Center
at Kazipet  upon her death, we had taken her dead body to
Kazipet  from Hyderabad and she was buried at the back side
of the tomb of her Murshid (spiritual master) Syed Shah
Sarwar Biabani. R. A.
During the 1986 I had tried my best to re-settle my family
members from Hyderabad to Kazipet Jagir but I was not
successful in this matter as my son's (Mohammed Abdul Wasi
Rabbani) application for admission in St. Gabriel school
Fatima Nagar was not accepted there due to late submission.
We are staying in Hyderabad with our family members, but
we never miss any chance to visit the holy shrine of Hazrat
Syed Shah Afzal Biabani R. A. And Hazrat Syed Shah Sarwar
Biabani R.A. At Kazipet Jagir on regular basis.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

An event of the theft during the service of period of my

grandfather at Kazipet shrine
During the period of Syed Shah Ghulam Afzal Biyabani this
event was happening. At that time there was a grant of
Rupees fifty towards the salaries of the staff of Noban Khana
(the place from where time is announced by the beat of the
drum) in which there were some staff members used to work
there and it was headed by the supervisor. By the
government of H.E.H.The Nizam of Hyderabad there was
every month the royal grant which was used to reach to the
custodian of the Qazipet shrine through the supervisor from
the government treasury. From there it will reach to the
administrator of the estate and who will used to distribute
the amount of salaries to all concerned staff.
As per reference by Tufazal Hussain advocate that one
month the supervisor of Nobat Khana who was obtained the
amount of Rupees fifty towards the salaries from the Royal
treasury office and he was fled to Hyderabad. But in the
shrine building the staff members were waiting for him to
receive their salaries from him and but at last they were able
to know that the supervisor was fled from Qazipet and he
was reached to Hyderabad.
At that time the custodian of the shrine of Kazipet was in
Hyderabad. So the estate administrator Sheikh Dadan,  who
was grandfather of the  translator of this book was informed
the details of this case to Tufazal Hussain advocate and this
event was mentioned by Syed Khaja Sadat Hussain Biyabani
in his Urdu book ‘Lemat Biyabani’ (This  book was already
translated by  me with the title of Biographyof Hazrat Syed
Shah Ghulam Afzal Biabani and has been posted by in the
paperback and electronic book  formats on amazon.com) and
he was mentioned the details of this event on the pages 110-
111 of his book and he was requested to take action against
the supervisor of the police department. In his reply Tufazal
Hussain advocate wrote him that as the custodian of the
shrine is present in Hyderabad and if we start action against
him, so due to kindness if the culprit will be forgiven by him
then it will be not proper in this matter to initiate the case
against him. So it is better to take the approval of the action
from the custodian of the shrine first so that it is proper to
take further action in this matter.
It was learnt by me that the estate administrator Sheikh
Dadan was sent the letters by the post to Hyderabad for the
kind perusal of the shrine custodian there.
The estate administrator Sheikh Dadan who is the
grandfather of this translator and in whose memory this
event was especially translated from the following book for
the information of the readers of the International Internet
Libraries in U.S.A. especially for the readers of these two
websites as follows. www.calmeo.com and www.scribd.com
Upon this it was happened that supervisor of Nobat Khana
after spending of the amount was reached to see the
custodian and he told him all details in this matter and he
requested him to forgive his mistake and he made loud and
cry in this matter and he requested him to allow him to join
back in his post.
It was learnt later that the custodian of the shrine was kept
the supervisor at his residence in Hyderabad for a period of
three days. During that period the letters of the Estate
Administrator and the advocate was reaching for him. Upon
this he was given the travel expenses from Hyderabad to
Kazipet to the supervisor of the Nobat Khana and was sent
him from Hyderabad to Kazipet and he was given the
instruction to the estate administrator which is as follows.
“ That the supervisor was presented in his service and he
ashamed of his bad deed so he was forgiven his mistake in
this matter. So you also forgive him and allow him to join on
his duty. Otherwise, he is poor person having small children
with him so they will become economically poor and will be
destroyed in this matter. Arrange the salary of Nobat Khana
staff members from another fund.”
So after some days the supervisor was coming back to
Qazipet from Hyderabad and he was allowed to join in his
post as per order the custodian of the shrine of Kazipet and
the staff members of the Nobat Khana was paid their salaries
from the other fund by the administrator of the estate.

help us to share with English speaking people. There are
certain places need to be updated in your translation. May
Allah swt bless you with the spiritual support of Hadrath Syed

I believe we should enhance the compilation done by
Hazrath Syed Aulia Quadri RA around some 55 years ago--
there are other historical books (should be available in
A.P. Archaeology and State Central Library and
other libraries .I know some books such as Mishkat un
Nubuwwah by Hazarath Syed Ghulam Ali Shah R.A.,
Mahboob-zil-Menon - Tadkiray Aulia Deccan page 248 and
Tawariqul Auliya second part page 528.

In the loving memory of my mother

Mother you lived long and left us on 3rd November 2016

And showed us a life  by drawing a good road map of life

You  protected us since childhood till present time of life

So  we cannot ignore you during our entire period of life

Your life  was not at all  dull  in the wasteful ways

It was an example of  the struggle  for the happy life

Your determination  was so great to fight the life

By  such you have  good benefits you have gained

You  acted in the world, but  also active in the religion

Your presence  was  a grace due to the kindness of God

After your demise, was a  loss and damage in the house

Her name  Akhter, she was a star of the luck in her life

Her life journey  was  ended in 6 days in the hospital

Left on us an impression  which cannot be removed

Oh  God, you have been given a position in the  world

Kindly bestow  the  mercy  on her final resting place

Those who are pious then You are merciful to such persons
Your special favour and kindness is there for  all of them
You are the owner everyone settle deeds on judgment day
In your hands is a penalty and a prize and you are the owner
All our worship is for Your sake, oh Lord of the two worlds
All slaves belong to you from the origin, if he is big or small
For all our needs you are must and Your personality is kind
You give all one who calls you as You are a kind helper to all
Guide us such a right path, on which path who went away
With Your graces and all passed away on such path indeed
But there will be no such way never, which is ignored by You
So who lost and misguided on such way due to your anger
This is the prayer of your slave and is request of your lowest
Accept the prayer of Hafeez as you are an owner of all worlds

The  biography  of  Princess Jahanara Begum

Jahanara Begum (23 March 1614 – 16 September 1681) was
a Mughal princess and the eldest child of Emperor Shah
Jahan and his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Often referred to simply as
Begum Sahib (Princess of Princesses), she was also the older
sister of the crown prince Dara Shukoh and
Emperor Aurangzeb.
After Mumtaz Mahal's untimely death in 1631, the 17 year-
old Jahanara took her mother's place as First Lady (Padshah
Begum) of the Mughal Empire, despite the fact that her father
had three other wives. She was Shah Jahan's favourite daughter
and wielded major political influence during her father's reign,
having been described as "The most powerful woman in the
empire" at the time.
Jahanara was an ardent partisan of her brother Dara Shukoh
and supported him as her father's chosen successor. During the
war of succession which took place after Shah Jahan's illness in
1657, Jahanara sided with the heir-apparent Dara and
ultimately joined her father in Agra Fort, where he had been
placed under house arrest by Aurangzeb. A devoted daughter,
she took care of Shah Jahan until his death in 1666. Later,
Jahanara reconciled with Aurangzeb who gave her the
title Empress of Princesses and she replaced her younger sister,
Princess Roshanara Begum, as First Lady. Jahanara died
unmarried during Aurangzeb's reign.

Early life and education

Jahanara's early education was entrusted to Sati al-Nisa

Khanam, the sister to Jahangir's poet laureate, Talib Amuli. Sati
al-Nisa Khanam was known for her knowledge of
the Qur'an and Persian literature as well as for her knowledge
of etiquette, housekeeping, and medicine. She also served as
principal lady-in-waiting for her mother, Mumtaz Mahal.
Many of the women in the imperial household were
accomplished at reading and writing poetry and painting. They
also played chess, polo and hunted outdoors. The women had
access to the late Emperor Akbar's library, full of books on
world religions and Persian, Turkish and Indian
literature. Jahanara was no exception.

Padshah Begum
Upon the death of Mumtaz Mahal in 1631, Jahanara, aged
17, took the place of her mother as First Lady of the Empire,
despite her father having three other wives.[7] As well as caring
for her younger brothers and sisters, she is also credited with
bringing her father out of mourning and restoring normality to
a court darkened by her mother's death and her father's grief.
One of her tasks after the death of her mother was to
oversee, with the help of Sati al-Nisa Khanam, the betrothal
and wedding of her brother, Dara Shikoh to Begum Nadira
Banu, which had been originally planned by Mumtaz Mahal, but
postponed by her death.
Her father frequently took her advice and entrusted her with
charge of the Imperial Seal. In 1644 when Aurangzeb angered
his father the Shah, Jahanara interceded on her brother’s
behalf and convinced Shah Jahan to pardon him and restore his
rank.[ Shah Jahan's fondness for his daughter was reflected in
the multiple titles that he bestowed upon her, which included:
Sahibat al-Zamani (Lady of the Age) and Padishah Begum (Lady
Emperor), or Begum Sahib (Princess of Princesses). Her power
was such that, unlike the other imperial princesses, she was
allowed to live in her own palace, outside the confines of the
Agra Fort.
In March 1644, just days after her thirtieth birthday, Jahanara
suffered serious burns to her body and almost died of her
injuries. Shah Jahan ordered that vast sums of alms be given to
the poor, prisoners be released, and prayers offered for the
recovery of the princess. Aurangzeb, Murad, and Shiastah
Khan returned to Delhi to see her. Accounts differ as to what
happened. Some say Jahanara's garments, doused in fragrant
perfume oils, caught fire. Others accounts assert that the
princess's favorite dancing-woman's dress caught fire and the
princess coming to her aid was burnt herself on the chest.
During her illness, Shah Jahan, was so concerned for the
welfare of his favourite daughter, that he made only brief
appearances at his daily durbar in the Diwan-i-Am. Royal
physicians failed to heal Jahanara's burns. A Persian doctor
came to treat her and her condition improved for a number of
months but then there was no further improvement until a
royal page named Arif Chela mixed an ointment that after two
more months finally caused the wounds to close. A year after
the accident, Jahanara had fully recovered.
After the accident, the princess went on a pilgrimage
to Moinuddin Chishti’s shrine in Ajmer.
After her recovery, Shah Jahan gave Jahanara rare gems and
jewellery and bestowed upon her the revenues of the port
of Surat.[ She later visited Ajmer, following the example set by
her great-grandfather Akbar.

Wealth and charity

Jahanara was very wealthy. In honor of his coronation, 6
February 1628, Shah Jahan awarded his wife Mumtaz Mahal,
Jahanara's mother, 100,000 ashrafis (Persian gold coins worth
two Mohurs), 600,000 rupees and an annual privy purse of one
million rupees. Jahanara received 100,000 ashrafis, 400,000
rupees and an annual grant of 600,000. Upon Mumtaz Mahal's
death her personal fortune was divided by Shah Jahan between
Jahanara Begum (who received half) and the rest of Mumtaz
Mahal's surviving children.
Jahanara was allotted income from a number of villages and
owned gardens including, Bagh-i-Jahanara, Bagh-i-Nur and
Bagh-i-Safa,[21] "Her jagir included the villages of Achchol,
Farjahara and the Sarkars of Bachchol, Safapur and Doharah.
The pargana of Panipat was also granted to her."[As mentioned
above, she was also given the prosperous city of Surat.
Jahangir's mother owned a ship which traded between Surat
and the Red Sea. Nur Jahan continued with a similar business
trading in indigo and cloth trades. Later, Jahanara continued
the tradition. She owned a number of ships and maintained
trade relations with the English and the Dutch.
Jahanara was known for her active part in looking after the
poor and financing the building of mosques.[ When her ship,
the Sahibi was to set sail for its first journey (on 29 October
1643), she ordered that the ship make its voyage to Mecca and
Medina and, "... that every year fifty koni (One Koni was
4 Muns or 151 pounds) of rice should be sent by the ship for
distribution among the destitute and needy of Mecca."[
As de facto Primary Queen of the Mughal empire, Jahanara
was responsible for charitable donations. She organized
almsgiving on important state and religious days, supported
famine relief and pilgrimages to Mecca.
Jahanara made important financial contributions in support
of learning and the arts. She supported the publication of a
series of works on Islamic mysticism, including commentaries
on Rumi's Mathnawi, a very popular mystical work among in
Mughal India.

Sufism
Together with her brother Dara Shikoh, she was a disciple
of Mullah Shah Badakhshi, who initiated her into
the Qadiriyya Sufi order in 1641. Jahanara Begum made such
progress on the Sufi path that Mullah Shah would have named
her his successor in the Qadiriyya, but the rules of the order did
not allow this.[16]
She wrote a biography of Moinuddin Chishti, the founder of
the Chishtiyah order in India, titled Mu’nis al-Arwāḥ, as well as
a biography of Mullah Shah, titled Risālah-i Ṣāḥibīyah, in which
she also described her initiation by him.Her biography of
Moinuddin Chishti is highly regarded for its judgment and
literary quality. In it she regarded him as having initiated her
spiritually four centuries after his death, described her
pilgrimage to Ajmer and spoke of herself as a faqīrah to signify
her vocation as a Sufi woman.
Jahanara Begum stated that she and her brother Dārā were
the only descendants of Timur to embrace Sufism. However,
Aurangzeb was spiritually trained as a follower of Sufism as
well. As a patron of Sufi literature, she commissioned
translations of and commentaries on many works of classical
literature.

War of Succession

The Passing of Shah Jahan beside his daughter and caretaker

Princess Jahanara. Painting by Abanindranath Tagore, 1902

Shah Jahan became seriously ill in 1657. A war of succession

broke out among his four sons, Dara Shikoh, Shah Shuja,
Aurangzeb and Murad Baksh.
During the war of succession Jahanara supported her brother
Dara Shikoh, eldest son of Shah Jahan. When Dara Shikoh's
generals sustained a defeat at Dharmat (1658) at the hands of
Aurangzeb, Jahanara wrote a letter to Aurangzeb and advised
him not to disobey his father and fight with his brother. She
was unsuccessful. Dara was badly defeated in the battle of
Samugarh (29 May 1658) and fled towards Delhi.
Shah Jahan did everything he could to stop the planned
invasion of Agra. He asked Jahanara to use her feminine
diplomacy to convince Murad and Shuja not to throw their
weight on the side of Aurangzeb.
In June 1658, Aurangzeb besieged his father Shah Jahan in
the Agra Fort forcing him to surrender unconditionally by
cutting off the water supply. Jahanara came to Aurangzeb on 10
June proposing a partition of the empire. Dara Shikoh would be
given the Punjab and adjoining territories; Shuja would get
Bengal; Murad would get Gujarat; Aurangzeb’s son Sultan
Muhammad would get the Deccan and the rest of the empire
would go to Aurangzeb. Aurangzeb refused Jahanara’s
proposition on the grounds that Dara Shikoh was an infidel.
On Aurangzeb's ascent to the throne, Jahanara joined her
father in imprisonment at the Agra Fort, where she devoted
herself to his care until his death in 1666.
After the death of their father, Jahanara and Aurangzeb were
reconciled. He gave her the title, Empress of Princesses and she
replaced Roshanara as First Lady.
Jahanara was soon secure enough in her position to
occasionally argue with Aurangzeb and have certain special
privileges which other women did not possess. She argued
against Aurangzeb's strict regulation of public life in accordance
with his conservative religious beliefs and his decision in 1679
to restore the poll tax on non-Muslims, which she said would
alienate his Hindu subjects.

Dargahcomplex, in Nizamuddin West, Delhi.
Jahanara had her tomb built during her lifetime. It is
constructed entirely of white marble with a screen of trellis
work and open to the sky.
Upon her death, Aurangzeb gave her the posthumous title:
Sahibat-uz-Zamani (Mistress of the Age). Jahanara is buried in a
tomb in the Nizamuddin Dargah complex in New Delhi, which is
considered "remarkable for its simplicity". The inscription on
the tomb reads as follows:
‫بغیر سبزہ نہ پو شد کسے مزار مرا کہ‬
‫اہ و بس است‬ ‫اں ہمیں گی‬ ‫وش غریب‬ ‫بر پ‬ ‫ق‬
Allah is the Living, the Sustaining.
Let no one cover my grave except with greenery,
For this very grass suffices as a tomb cover for the poor.
The mortal simplistic Princess Jahanara,
Disciple of the Khwaja Moin-ud-Din Chishti,
Daughter of Shah Jahan the Conqueror
May Allah illuminate his proof.

Architectural legacy
Jahanara Begum's caravanserai that formed the
original Chandni Chowk, from Sir Thomas Theophilus Metcalf's
1843 album
In Agra she is best known for sponsoring the building of
the Jami Masjid or Friday Mosque in 1648 in the heart of the
old city.[43] The Mosque was funded entirely by Jahanara from
her personal allowance.[44] She founded a madrasa which was
attached to the Jama Masjid for the promotion of education.
She also made a significant impact on the landscape of the
capital city of Shahjahanabad. Of the eighteen buildings in the
city of Shahjahanabad commissioned by women, Jahanara
commissioned five of them. All of Jahanara's building projects
were completed around the year 1650, inside the city walls of
Shahjahanabad. The best known of her projects was Chandni
Chowk, the main street in the walled city of Old Delhi.
She constructed an elegant caravanserai on the East side of
the street with gardens in the back. Herbert Charles Fanshawe,
in 1902, mentions about the serai:
"Proceeding up the Chandni Chowk and passing many shops of
the principal dealers in jewels, embroideries, and other
products of Delhi handicrafts, the Northbrook Clock Tower and
the principal entrance to the Queen's Gardens are reached. The
former is situated at the site of the Karavan Sarai of the
Princess Jahanara Begum (p. 239), known by the title of Shah
Begum. The Sarai, the square in front of which projected across
the street, was considered by Bernier one of the finest buildings
in Delhi, and was compared by him with the Palais Royal,
because of its arcades below and rooms with a gallery in front
above."
The serai was later replaced by  a building now known as the
Town Hall, and the pool in the middle of the square was
replaced by a grand clock tower (Ghantaghar).

limit of our thanks and gratitude in this matter. And who is the
kind creator and Lord and who is by grace and attribute made
holy persons and saintly guides as leaders and guides. “Oh
Sahib (person) oh Lord, oh great king there is, it is fact that
even the prophets and closed angels and whose tongues are in
the helpless condition to praise you.” So for this reason what is
the power of this weak woman to open her tongue to mention
your attributes in this matter.”

is as follows.   “That Day shall a man flee from his brother, and
from his mother and his father, and his wife and his children.”
That day, which will be lengthy for 50,000 years. The people
will face many kinds of grief, problems, and difficulties which
will be faced by mankind on that day. The group of the disciple
will be standing under the flag of their spiritual master in the
plain of the judgment there. Due to the help and support of the
holy persons, the people will be free from the problems and
difficulties there. There are many thousand praises to the
Lord of the worlds who is a True accomplisher of the mankind
and that who made the chain of the devotion of Chistiaya
popular in the other countries as well in the wide country of
India. As well as this system of Sufi chain has become popular in
the world. There were find well known many and great Sufi

That fire worshipper has replied to him that in their religion
there is great importance of the fire. So, for this reason, we
used to worship the fire in this matter. So that on the day of the
judgment it will not burn us. He was told him that “For many
years you are worshipping fire so it may happen that if you put
fire on your hand so it may not burn you.” Then he said that “ It
is nature of the fire to burn. Upon saying this he was taken a
boy of the head of the fire-worshippers from his armpit and
taken him on his lap and he was entered into the fire. The head
person of the fire-worshippers began loud and cry and he said
“Oh Sheikh what you are doing in this matter?.” The sheikh of
ِ ‫بِس ِْم هللاِ الرَّحْ مٰ ِن الر‬ " and on his tongue, there was the
time said ‫َّحي ِْم‬
following verse and its meaning is as follows.
“ Qulna ya nar kuni bardan wa salaman ala Ibrahm wa-aradu
ya-kid fajalana hum al-akhirin.”
"O fire! Be coolness and safety for Ibrahim!"
There were many thousand fire worshippers who were
present there. And who made loud and cry in this matter. After
some time Khwaja Haruni came out of the fire with the small
boy of the fire-worshippers. There was no effect of the fire on
the dresses and body of the boy and Khwaja Sahib. The fire-
worshippers have asked the boy “What you have seen in the
fireplace.?” He said that “There was one garden in which there
were many kinds of flowers and there was a strange kind of
springing season.” When the fire-worshippers have seen
sheikh’s miracle then all of them have put their heads on the
feet of Khwaja Sahib and with the true heart, they have recited
Islamic creed and were becoming Muslims on the same time on
the spot. He has put the name of Mukhtar as Sheik Abdullah
and boy’s name as Ibrahim. And both of them were become
well known as the complete pious person of the time. The fire
worshipers were converted fire temple as a mosque at such
place and in which they have started worship there. Khwaja
Sahib was there for two years and six months. Then Khwaja
Sahib went to  Makkah and died in Makkah and on that day
there was the date of the six Shawwal. In short Hazrat Khwaja
Moinuddin Chisti who was in his presence of his spiritual
master Khwaja Usman Haruni for a period of 20 years 6 months
in the endeavors of worship as well as mystical exercises. And
he was completed his work with him. During his service of the
spiritual master, he used to carry during the journey and stay
his bedding, spouted leather bottle and prayer mat which he
will put on his head and accompany during the journey. Then
after obtaining caliphate from the spiritual master he was
reached back to his village Sanjar. And he stayed there for two
months and fifteen days  then he was reached in the village
Jelan and then he was reached in the presence of sheikh of the
time Hazrat Abdul Quader Jilani. And village Jilan which is away
from Baghdad at a journey of seven days. He was in the service
of Sheikh Abdul Quader Jilani for five months and seven days.
The holy room of Khwaja Sahib is still there in place Faraq
Farjam. From there he was reached to Hamdan. And from there
he was reached to Tabriz. And where he was met with the holy
persons of that area.
It is stated that and which was said by Hazrat Fariduddin Ganj
Shaker that he was heard by his spiritual master Hazrat
Qutubuddin Kaki and who used to say that my spiritual master
used to engaged in great endeavours and mystical exercises as
such that he used to eat a piece of bread and its weight which
will not be more than 5 misgal (one misal will be equivalent of 4
mashas and one masha weight will be equivalent of 16 grains)
and which will be drowned in the water and with it he will open
his breakfast. He used to wear two piece dress with many of the
patches on them.On the dressed, there will be patches of old
clothes on them. Sheikh Fariduddin who has mentioned in his
book Fawad Al-Fawad that he was seen the above two-piece
dress. And that holy dress which was got by Hazrat Nizamuddin
Auliya. And it is said that he was also got a saintly dress with
him. When Khwaja Moinuddin got his saintly dress from Khwaja
Haruni then at that time he was 52 years old and who used to
have complete engagement with him. And he used to travel by
putting his steps of abstraction and loneliness. And where ever
he will stay during the journey then he usually will stay in the
graveyards. He used to complete the reading of the two Quran
daily. And which will be thinking as compulsory for himself. He
does not want to disclose his condition of status and if anybody
knows in this matter then he will leave from that place. He used
to hidden his miracles and supernatural acts from other
persons. Khwaja Haruni said that “Moinuddin is beloved of
Allah. And he is proud of his becoming his disciple.” When he
was departed from his spiritual master then he has stayed in
Baghdad, Tabriz, Esterabad, and Herat for a long period there.
He usually stays in a prominent spot of Abdulla Ansari and in
the night time and day time he used to visit some places but in
one place he used to stay for a short period. He used to keep
only one servant during the period of the journey. He used to
perform the morning prayer usually with the ablution of Eisha
night prayer. When he has become famous in Herat then he was
reached in Sabzwar. The ruler of this place Mohammed Yadgar
who was well known for his dishonesty, rudeness, and
atrocities. He went into his garden and he was sitting at the side
of his water reservoir. When he was seen Khwaja Sahib there
then all of his body parts began shivering with fear. And he was
fallen down on the earth and he was becoming unconscious.
And also on his friends, there was fallen fear for this reason.
Khwaja Sahib put some water of the reservoir on his body then
he was becoming in the normal condition. Then Hazrat in loud
voice called him “Whether you have repented in this matter.?”
And with humility, he has said that “ I have repented.” The
persons who were with him were also repented. Then Khwaja
Sahib told him to make ablution and to perform supererogatory
prayer. Then all were performed supererogatory prayers
there.Whatever which was with him he was sold away on the
way of Allah. And from there Khwaja Sahib went to Balq and
where there was one Hakim (philosopher) Ziauddin who has a
bad feeling with knowledge of Sufism and he used to say that
knowledge of Sufism is like haziyan and its meaning is to
emphasize the bad or extreme quality of it.And which should be
upon the tongues of the mad and un-sensible persons. Khwaja
Sahib’s servant who used to carry with his bow, arrow, fire
producing stones by rubbing together, and saltbox during the
journey period. And when they will pass in the area out of the
habitation and in the jungle areas. Then at that time, they
engage in the hunting of the animals to get the flesh of the
animals to get energy and with that and he used to break the
fast with it.And one day he was hunted one animal in the
jungle. When they have entered into the city in the place Hakim
Ziauddin where he used to teach lessons to his students. And
he was reached there and sat under a shadow of the tree.At
that place, the servant was preparing kebab
(word kabāb, meaning roasted meat) and sheikh of time who
use to be always busy in the worship of Allah. The philosopher
(hakim) has seen it and want to go and sit near Khwaja Sahib
and get a share in eating of the kabab. Due to the look of the
Khwaja Sahib, there was found a great effect on Hakim. And
when Khwaja Sahib has finished the prayer then Hakim said
Salam to him. The servant has present kabab in the presence of
Khwaja Sahib. And who was able to know the desire of the
Hakim in this matter and by saying said ‫بسم هللا الرحمن الرحيم‬  and
he has given him one thigh of kabab to Hakim. Then Khwaja
Sahib began eating kabab there and he was busy in it. By eating
of the kabab the darkness of philosophy which was removed
from the chest immediately. And there found the light of the
knowledge of Allah in his heart. And unconsciousness prevailed
upon him. And in that condition, Khwaja Sahib has touched
some meat of the kabab with his tongue and put it in the
mouth of the philosopher. Then he was coming back in the
normal condition. In short, he has put all his books of
philosophy in the water and he has repented along with his all
disciples at that time. And he was becoming a disciple of the
sheikh of time. And after that Khwaja Sahib has proceeded
toward Delhi. Then he has gone to Delhi and where he stayed
for some time there. When there were the crowds of mankind
very much then he left Delhi and went to Ajmer. It is mentioned
that when he has obtained grace from his spiritual master then
he has reached to Makkah and from Makkah he has reached to
Madina. He was engaged in the worship there for a period of a
long time. One day there was came to a call from the
mausoleum of the prophet “Oh Moinuddin you are a helper of
our religion. The saintliness of India was being allotted to you.
To go Ajmare and stay there. There is overpower of the
infidelity on that land. Due to your going to that place there will
flourish Islam there.” Upon hearing Ajmare Khwaja Sahib was
surprised where is Ajamre. In this worry, there was prevailed
unconsciousness upon him. And he has seen the prophet in the
event and who has shown him all the world from east to west.
He was shown the signs of the forts and mountains and was
given to him one pomegranate and the prophet said to him
that to go I have surrendered to you in the custody of Allah.” In
short from Madina he has determined firmly to travel to India.
And while visiting cities and by visiting learned and darwesh
persons and with him there was a group of 40 disciple and
devotees during his journey toward India. At that time there
was ruler in Ajmare and whose name was Rai Pathura. And his
mother has much knowledge of astrology with her. And she
told him about Khwaja’s Sahib arrival in Ajmare before 12
years that due to the presence of Khwaja's arrival his kingdom
and wealth will be destroyed. And due to this reason, Rai
Pathura used to be in the condition of sadness and grief.Rai
Pathura’s mother who has given features of Khawaja Sahib to
him.Rai Pathura has sent Khwaja’s Sahib pictures to all places
with the order to find such and such fakir person and arrest if
they find him. It is said that when he arrived in the village
Samana then at that time Pathura’s men find Khwaja Sahib as
per the picture so they applied the trick to deceive him and so
they said to him by false humility and respect that they have
selected for him a suitable place for his stay during his journey
period. So that he can stay in the place. so, for this reason,
Khwaja Sahib did meditation and revelation in this matter. Then
he has seen the prophet of Allah in his dream and who told him
that this group persons want to harm him so do not
believe them. So for this reason by alert due to his revelation,
he was refused the host service of the group in the village
Samana. And he has informed in this matter to the group of
persons and so he was decided and proceeded on the journey
to Ajmer. When he was reached to Ajmare and want to stay
under a tree then someone has informed him that he should
not stay here as Raja’s camels are sitting under this tree and so
for this purpose he can stay at some other place. He said yes
we will go to some other place to stay there. Afterward, Khwaja
Sahib went at the bank of Anasagar water tank near the
mountains. The camels of the Raja which were tied in the place
where first place Khwaja Sahib sat under the tree which were
not untied from the place in spite very much try and
endeavours of camel drivers there. Upon hearing the Raja was
becoming very sad. It has written that at the bank of the
Anasagr there were many thousand temples and for which
there was much expense of many maunds of oil and flowers
there. One servant who has prepared kabab at the bank of the
Anasagar so for this reason due to humility Hindus were
angered and upset in this matter. When the persons of the
Khwaja Sahib went near Anasagar of ablution and bathing there
then, for this reason, there was obstruction by the persons of
the Raja of Ajmer. Khwaja Sahib who was a person of attribute
when he has heard this then he was asked his servant to bring
water from Anasagar in one bottle. And when the servant filled
his water bottle from the water of Anasagar then all water from
Anasagar water tank has vanished away. In the city of Ajmer in
the other water sources like springs, ponds and wells in which
also there was no water at all. Also in animals and in the chest
of the women, milk was dried up.One Hindu magician person
who was worshiped by Rai Pathura and his father and all other
Hindu persons in Ajmare and they all think their prosperity and
wealth due to him only. And some villages were given to meet
expenses of him in this matter. And that person who has fallen
on the feet of Khwaja Sahib by shivering and by trembling. And
he was becoming Muslim on the hands of Khwaja Sahib. And
Khwaja Sahib was given him name as Shadi to that magician
upon becoming a Muslim person. When this news was reached
to Rai Pathura then his mother told him that “This is the same
person about him I have given you my information before in
this matter.” Rai Pathura has sent one of his messengers in the
presence of Jaipal Jogi and who was a big magician and who
was living in Ajmare at that time and nobody was not such
power than him in the whole country of Rai Pathura. And who
has sent a reply to Raja that he should not be worried about
this matter and all this is magic and he will cure it well. Rai
Pathura has sent his message to Jaipal that he is going outside
so he should visit Ajmare soon with all his arrangement in this
matter. During this period Raja of Ajamre has planning to cause
to harm Khwaja Sahib. And whenever there will be the
intention of the enmity of Khwaja Sahib by Raja of Ajmare then
he was becoming a blind person. And whenever there will be
no such his intention with him then Raja’s blindness will be over
for this reason.Such incident has happened for Raja for 7 times
then he was becoming blind and after that, he was recovered
from his blindness so for this reason he was kept away from his
bad intention to harm Khwaja Sahib in this matter. Then he
came into the presence of Khwaja Sahib and with him, Jaipal
magician also came there and there 700 deadly magicians were
also with him. And also his disciples were well-known
magicians. They have done different types of endeavour and
efforts of the magic upon Khwaja Sahib and his companions but
there was no effect at all on the Khwaja Sahib and his
disciples. Then he began to sent wheels of the magic in the air
and began sending on the side of Khwaja Sahib but all magic
wheels which were returned back from him and began falling
on his magicians and due to this reason, they were broken their
hands and feet for this reason and also hurt them in this
matter. Those snakes which will run towards Khwaja Sahib were
being reached down in the earth. It is mentioned that when
Jaipal used to fight with the enemy then and if any person
wants his help to fight the large army of the enemy then Jailpal
used to send magic wheels to longer distances and which will
fall on the enemies and cut their heads for this reason. In short
when Jailpal was becoming helpless in all his endeavours and
efforts then he was thrown skin of the deer in the air and then
it was stopped in the air. He has stopped his breath and has
taken the jump and he sat on the skin. And immediately at the
same time, he began flying toward the sky on the skin of the
deer. And for this reason, the people began laughing in this
matter. After some Hazrat  Khwaja Moinuddin who is a chief of
holy persons who uplifted his head from the mediation and he
has asked his companions up to which area Jaipal has reached
in the sky. The companions told him that now he looks like a
bird in the sky. After one minute he has asked now where he
has gone and the companions told him that now he has
vanished away.He has given a signal to his wooden sleepers so,
for this reason, they began in the air and have been reached on
the head and began beating on his head and due to continuous
beating by the wooden sandals, the audience was heard
weeping and wailing of Jaipal in the air.In short, the wooden
sandals which were brought him to the earth from air by
beating on his head. Jaipal was fallen on Khwaja Sahib’s feet
with regret and sorry and he has requested peace from him so
for this reason, Khwaja Sahib has given a signal to sandals to
stop beating. When Rai Pathura and Jaipal have seen such
situation then they began crying and wailing, for this reason.
And they have requested for the water of Ansagar and
camels. So Khwaja Sahib asked Jaipal to stand and bring a water
bottle. He has tried in this matter but he could not able to stand.
So, for this reason, Khwaja Sahib has asked Shadi to bring a
water bottle and who went and brought water in the presence
of Khwaja Sahib. And Khwaja Sahib was taken some water from
his water bottle and was thrown some water toward Ansagar.
And due to favour of the miracle of Khwaja Sahib that all
water of reservoirs, water springs, and all resources were filled
with abundance water for this reason. The Rajah's camels were
standing and went to the forest for grazing area there.Upon
seeing and observation of the miracles of the Khwaja Sahib the
opposing persons were regret and surprised very much in this
matter. They said that we have worshipped for them during
their whole life and done service to Jaipal and for them, we
have spent our treasures of money. But there was no use at all
to us in this matter. In short Jaipal by folding his hands asked
with Khwaja Sahib up to which place he can reach and travel in
the sky in this matter. So, for this reason, he was done
meditation and he was seen that his soul which was entered in
the angelic world.Jaipal who was done very much endeavours
and mystical exercises so for this reason his soul has got the
power of escalation with it.So his soul used to go behind the
soul of the Khwaja Sahib in this matter and till such that it has
reached near to the first sky. Then the soul of the Khwaja Sahib
reached to the top of the sky.But the soul of the Jaipal could
not able to reach on the sky. And in this matter, his soul began
weeping and wailing that it should be also taken to the sky
along with the soul of the Khwaja Sahib. So for this reason, the
holy soul of the Khwaja Sahib taken the soul of the Jaipal to the
sky in the place of the empyrean. Due to the blessing of the
soul of the Khwaja Sahib, there was removed the veil from the
soul of the Jaipal. The angels were paid respect and honor to
Khwaja Sahib at each and every place and all were watching his
soul there. When the soul of the Khwaja Sahib was reached near
the final destination in the sky then the soul of the Jaipal could
not move further so for this reason he began weeping and
wailing in this matter that he should be left over there. So that
he can observe the nature of Allah there in the sky. Then the
soul of the Khwaja sahib has informed him that unless and until
he will not believe in Allah and his prophet then, for this
reason, he will not move further. Then for this reason soul of
the Jaipal said with truth Islamic creed “La Ilaha Illah
Mohamedur Rasul Illah.” And he has believed in the Allah and
his prophet. Then he has requested with Khwaja Sahib that “ Oh
Hazrat there is my wish and desire that I should be alive till the
day of the judgment.” So the sheikh of the world he has
requested with Allah in this matter and then he has heard an
invisible call that his prayer was accepted. Then Khwaja Sahib
has put his hands on the head of the Jaipal and he has told him
that he will live until the time of the day of the judgment. In
short, both of the souls have visited hell, heaven, empyrean
and chair, and other things there and they have returned back
from the world of inferior. When he has opened his eyes after
his mediation then at that time Jaipal was said Islamic creed
and he was fallen on the feet of the sheikh of the time.At that
place, there was a large crowd of the people who surprised by
seeing the situation which prevailed at that time. Rai Pathura
and his group of the people were in the condition of sorry and
regret. And were returned back to their houses. It is said that
Jaipal is still living in the Ajmer. And he is usually busy in the
worship of Allah in the mountains of the Ajmer. And he used to
visit the mausoleum of Khwaja Sahib. It is said that Khwaja Sahib
was advised Rai Pathura for the Islamic religion but due to his
un-principal and hardness of the heart he did not accept the
call of the Islam at that time. And due to his curse, he was
captured alive by the Islamic army. And he was added in the
hell for this reason and details and information in this matter
will be recorded in this book on other pages later if Allah
wills. In short Shadi and Jaipal by requesting with humility have
brought Khwaja Sahib into the city of Ajmer and so he was
settled down in the land of Shadi. And where he was
constructed worship place and public kitchen there. In the
place of public kitchen mausoleum of Khwaja Sahib was later
constructed there. It was said by Hadrat Bakhtiar Kaki that “He
was in his service for a period of 20 years and he did not see
that Khwaja Sahib allowed anybody near to him for anything
but when there will be remaining nothing in the public kitchen
then the servant used to go in the presence of the Khwaja Sahib
and asked with him for money to buy things for the kitchen
then he will ask his servant to put his hand under the prayer
mat and take such money which will be sufficient for today and
tomorrow. So, for this reason, the servant will take money as
per his requirement. Khwaja Sahib used to pay the pension to
darwesh persons always. Whichever patient and traveler come
to see Khwaja Sahib then will get his desire of the heart which
fulfilled there. At that time Khwaja Sahib will be used to put his
hand under his prayer mat and whatever he will get from there
which will be given by him to the persons needed. And in this
way, he used to help poor and needy persons.” There is an
event which is related to Qutub of Qutub persons that one
person came into his service and went into his presence to
become his disciple but he did not make him his disciple. So he
was returned back from there and he went in the presence of
Rai Pathura and has lodged one complaint with him in this
matter. And Raja of Ajmare has sent one person in his presence
and who asked with him that why he did not make such and
such person his disciple. Khwaja Sahib said to him that there
are three reasons in this matter.
1.He is a big sinner. 2.We will not give our cap to such persons
who will put his head down at the other persons.3.We have
studied on the tablet that he will leave the world as an
unbeliever.
When Raja Pathura was heard this then he has become angry
and upset and he was told that this darwesh is telling unseen
matters. And tell him to go out of this city. Hazrat Khwaja Sahib
when he has heard this then he was smiled in this matter. Then
he was told that “To tell him there is 3 days time between in
them in this matter. Whether we leave from this city or he will
be out of the city in this matter?”.So it has happened like that
and after 3 days army of Sultan Moinuddin Bin Sam which was
reached in the city of Ajmer. He was conquered Ajmare and
was arrested Raja Rai Pathura. The person who came to
becoming a disciple of Khwaja Sahib was drowned in the water
due to the battle. There was written in the books that the
reason for angry of Khwaja Sahib is that Rai Pathura who make
a Muslim sad. So, for this reason, that person came into service
of Khwaja Sahib so he was sent one person to Rai Pathura and
asked him not to do such cruelty on the Muslim person. But he
has ignored in this matter. Then he has come to know in this
matter so he said that “ We have arrested Rai Pathura alive and
given to Islamic army ”. In those days Sultan Mohammed
Ghouri who came into suburban of the Ajamre with a large and
strong army.Rai Pathura who fought with the Islamic army and
was arrested l aive in that battle. And from that time the
religion, Islam was becoming strong and powerful. There was a
great loss to the roots of the infidelity and unfaithfulness in
India.

Sayings of the Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti
   1. He said that the lover's heart is a fireplace of love.
Whatever will come there will be burned down. And no fire is
not more than the fire of love. The river will then running in
which there will be found loud and cry and when it will be
submerged in the river, for this reason, there will be no loud
and cry. In the same way when the student of the truth when
he will find realization with the truth then he will become
silent. Then there will not find fondness and endeavour of the
world with him in this matter.
 2. He said that my spiritual master has said that “In the world,
there are such holy persons of the Allah are there if they do not
regret even for some time then they will die in this matter.”
3. He said if there will be three of the following qualities in a
man then Allah will keep him as his friend.
A.Generosity like a river. B. Kindness like the sun of the world
and so, for this reason, its light and favour will reach in the
world. C. Humility like the earth.
4. He said that the company of pious persons is better than a
good deed.
5. The disciple will be firm from his repentance till such time
that the angel who is sitting on the left side who will not write
any sin for his account.
6. Sufi will become deserve for indigence when he will not have
anything in the mortal world.
7. The lover is that person and who is sincere and he will be
afraid of the thing that the friend will remove him.
8. The Arif (mystic) when he will reach such position at one
time then he will see all worlds and whatever in there in
between in his two fingers.

The Arif is such a person whatever he wants then it should
come before him at once. The thing with which he talks then
which should reply to him soon. Khwaja Sahib said that he was
busy in such work for a long period of time. At last except
horror, we could not get anything in this matter for this reason.
He said that sin is not such harmful than to disrespect his
Muslim brother. Unless with the love of the reality’s burnish
and which will not be kept away of the verdigris of the world
on the mirror of the heart from then there will be not available
love in the remembrance of Allah. Unless there will be no left
friendship of unrelated in between, the person will not
get realization in this matter. The sign of recognition of Allah is
to run away from mankind. And to keep silence in the condition
of the knowledge of God. The Salik (mystic initiate) unless not
remember the knowledge of God then he is not Arif person.
Arif is such a person who will remove unrelated God from his
heart. And he will become kindred in this matter. Like his friend
who is singular. The people of love are those persons in them
and Allah there is no veil found. The Arif should be miserable
and sympathetic and one who got grace due to generosity and
kindness. The four things which are gems of the soul as follows.
1.First show richness to Darweshi.
2.To show satisfied of hunger.
3.To show the happiness of grief.
4.To have a friendship with the enemy.
Khwaja Sahib said that Hazrat Usman Haruni who used to say
that “Momin (faithful) who should keep the friendship of the
three things as follows.”
1. Indigence and hunger.
2. Illness.
3. Death.
The person who keeps the friendship of the above three
things then Allah and his angels will keep his friendship with
them for this reason. And heaven will be his final
destination. And darwesh is such person if there will be the
desire of the faithful person from him then he should fulfill it in
this matter. Arif is that person who should be disgust from the
world. The person who resigned to faith is that such person and
one who will disconnect grief  and efforts  from the mankind.
And he should not tell the story and complained to anybody in
this matter. And the best mystic is such a person who likes good
manners so that he should be live in the condition of the
surprise. And mystic is such a person when he will wake up in
the morning then he will not remember about night. And he
said that to keep remember of the death which makes it
possible to leave the comfort. And he will be familiar with the
remembrance of Allah. And which is a sign of the Arif
person. And for him, the good time is such that on him with
entire satisfaction of the door of the apprehension is to be
closed on him. And knowledge is the encircling sea and fields of
knowledge is its river. So where venerable Lord God and where
the man. Allah has knowledge with him and for the man fields
of knowledge and people of the knowledge are like the sun and
their effects are like sun rays which fall on the whole world.
And the man will not reach nearness of the destination of sight
of Allah. So for it, there is required performance of the prayer
as it is the accession of the man.
It is said that Khwaja Sahib said that he was engaged in the
circumambulation around of the Kaba in Makkah for a long
period of time and when I have got realization then the Kaba
began my circumambulation around me. And he said that with
the body of Hazrat Prophet Adam (R.A.) there was a mistake
done by him in this matter. And things in heaven were wept for
the grief of the Prophet Adam (R.A.), but the gold did not weep
in this matter. Allah has asked him “Why he did not weep in this
matter.” And it said that “Oh Allah on your sinner we did not
weep.” And Allah has said that “ There is swear for you for my
dignity that I will show your value and worth which is there for
your type of metal and I will be realized it to the sons of the
Prophet Adam (R.A.) and I will make them your slave in this
matter.” And he said that I have seen the book Riyad in which it
was written that “One time the prophet of Allah has passed
from one group of persons who were engaged in the laughing
there. He has said salam to them and they were stood to pay
respect to him. The prophet has asked with them “Whether
have you passed from the destination of the grave.” And they
said “No.” and he has asked whether you have released from
the hell. And they said “No.” Then he has asked “Why they are
laughing.?” So all of them were repented. Then nobody has
seen again in the condition of laughing .” Khwaja Sahib said that
“Arif is such person and on him, there will befall lights 100,000
upon him but he will not disclose even ones in this matter. That
person is a person of the knowledge and who will know 100
knowledge and explain its meaning in 100 explanations. And all
the time he will be drowned in the river of the knowledge and
bring one pearl out from the secrets of Allah. And if he will
explain before jeweler of the observer then he will know that
he is Arif person. The repentance of the person of the love
which depends upon three things.
1.Regret 2. To leave dealings 3. To leave sins. The friends of
Allah who are established on three qualities.
1. The power of fasting 2. Perpetual prayer 3. To establish
remembrance of Allah.
In the way of love, Arif is such a person and for him, there is
no surprise and pride in anything for him. Claim and acceptance
will not gather at one place together. And he said we have
come out of the slough like a snake. And then have look at the
love and beloved and find both of them one and same. When
there is sweetness in the worship of Allah and that sweetness
will be a veil for him. The Arif's status is that so he should
ignore from the pride of the sincerity. Khwaja Sahib said that
when we will reach by endeavour in his presence and where
there is no difficulty and there was available full comfort. When
we have seen the people of the world and find them engaged in
the world. When we have seen the people of the other world
and we find them in the prison of the other world in the
position of the hidden entirely. The true person in the love is
that when there will reach any calamity and difficulty to him
then he will accept it with happiness and fondness in this
matter. I have seen which is written in the book Asar Auliya that
one-day Rabia of Basra who was sitting with Malik Dinar, Sheikh
Hasan Basri and Shafiq Balqi together at one place and there
was started a discussion about the truth of the innermost with
them. And everybody was telling one matter in this respect.
When there came the turn of Rabia then she has said that “In
the way of the love that person is true when he will find pain
and hurting in the observation of the friend then he should
ignore it in this matter.” Khwaja Sahib said that “Once he was
sitting with a pious person near a grave and at that time there
was the punishment to the person of the grave. When the
pious person has observed this then he was made a slogan. And
he died at that time for this reason. And after some, he has
become water and then he has vanished away from there.”
Then he said that “Oh dear persons if you know the condition
of the dead persons who are in the earth and they are prisoners
of angels who are posted for the punishment of the dead
persons and so they are prisoners of the underworld. So if you
should know what hardships are going on them. So for this
reason due to the horror, they are melting like salt. And
someone has asked him “What is Baqa (existence).?” And he
said “Existence exactly as per the truth.” Then he asked again
“What abstraction.?” So he has replied “To disconnected with
the unrelated. And to meet the friend.” Hadrat Khwaja Bakhtiar
Kaki has said that “He was in the company of Khwaja Sahib for a
period of 20 years in his company of grace but he did not see
him scolding anybody. One day he was going someplace.
There he found one his disciple and whose name was Sheikh Ali
and to him, one person was caught on the way. And who told
him that unless and until you will not pay my money he will not
let him go away from here. When the sheikh of time was
reached there he has prohibited him in this matter. But that
person did not agree on it. In his anger, he has thrown his
coverlet from his shoulder on the ground. And immediately the
coverlet was filled with wealth and dinars at the same time.
And he has told him that he should take the money which is
due by Sheik Ali. But that person wants to make more money
so for this reason his hand was dried at the same time
immediately. Then that person cried and said that he was
repented in this matter. So he has prayed in this matter and for
this reason, the hand of that person has become good.”
It is narrated that one person came into his meeting place
with devotion and want to become his disciple apparently but
he went there to kill him in a manifest way. And he sat in the
meeting with a knife hiding in the armpit. And when he used to
see him then he will smile in this matter and he has said that “
Oh darwesh when the person used to go to see darwesh for the
sake of the friendship of love of Allah or for his friendship of the
mistake in this matter. So why did you have come here.? And
what is the reason in this matter.? When he has heard this then
he was standing and he has disclosed his bad intention in this
matter. Then he has put his knife from his armpit on the floor.
And he has become his disciple with sincerity. Then he has
performed 45 Hajj pilgrims in the Makkah City.
One day Khwaja Sahib was engaged in the worship of Allah.
And on him, there was the revelation  of the about of the
angelic world. During this time one of his disciples came over
there and he has said that the ruler wants to send him off the
country. Then he has asked him that “Where he is now.?” And
he was told that “He was riding on the horse and he went
towards the ground side.” Then Khwaja Sahib told him that “ To
go, he was fallen down from the horse and died.” That person
went from his place and on the way he has heard that the ruler
has died in the same condition which was told by Khwaja Sahib
in this matter.Hazrat Bakhtiar Kaki has told that he was lived in
the company of Khwaja Sahib for a period of 20 years but he
did not hear about his prayer for the improved of the health of
his body. Usually, there was on his tongue of revelation that
“Oh Allah where there is found pain or endeavours and which
should be given in the name of the Moinuddin in this matter.”
So I have asked with him “ Oh Hazrat what is this kind of
prayer?.” Then he said that “When there will give hard problem
or illness to the Muslim person and in this matter and this
shows it is a sign of health of his faith. So, for this reason, he
will be recovered from his sins as the naked child will be. It is
reported that Hazrat Moinuddin Chisti was sitting with Sheikh
Ohududdin Kirmani and Sheikh Shahabuddin Suherwardi and at
that time Sultan Shamsuddin Altamshi who was in his younger
age by holding bow and arrows who came before him.So he has
said that the boy will become king of Delhi and it has happened
like that.It is reported that he was in the meeting with his
companions and there was a discussion about mysticism and at
that time he was looking at the right side and then he will be
used to stand there. The audience was surprised in this
matter. And when he was returned back from there then one of
his disciples has asked with him what is the reason in this
matter? then he has said that at that side there was the grave
of his spiritual master. When I will see at that side then look at
the grave of the spiritual master and used to stand without
control, for this reason, It is reported that Khwaja Sahib used to
go Holy Harem in Makkah for the purpose of circumambulation
there. The Haji people used to found him in the
circumambulation around Kaba in Makkah but the people of
the house did not realize in this matter. And they think that he
is engaged in the worship place. And at last it was known that
at the last part of the night he used to go to Makkah but he will
find in the congregation prayer of the Fajar in the worship
place. It is reported that Khwaja Sahib did not sleep during the
night for a period of 70 years and so for this reason his body did
not touch with the earth in this matter. He was used to keeping
always fasting and as well as used to wake up during the nights
always.Khwaja Sahib’s ablution will not be used to break with
any other reason except answering the call of nature. He was
used to finding always in the meditation by closing his
eyes. When he will open his eyes after mediation and see
anybody then for this reason that person will become a person
of realization of Allah. If he will look any sinner then, for this
reason, he will repent for his sins. It is reported that Hazrat
Khwaja Usman Haruni has said that those who will be disciples
of Moinuddin and for the sake of them he will not put his foot
unless and until all his disciples and devotees will not take with
him into the heaven. And those who will enter into his chain till
the day of the judgment and for all them, there is the hope of
the salvation in this matter. Hazrat Khwaja Sahib said that one
day he was sitting in the Holy Harem and he was heard one
invisible call in which it was told him that “Oh Moinuddin we
are happy with you. And he was forgiven you.” So upon hearing
this he was much happier in this matter for this reason. And he
said “Oh Allah even helpless Moinuddin is free from the fire of
the hell. And in this matter, this helpless person has one
request with you that and which is requested for your
approval.”Then he has heard the invisible call that he can
demand whatever he needed. Then he said “Oh Allah I have my
disciples, and there are other persons who are disciples of my
disciples as well as there are others who disciples of my sons.
So all of them are requested to be forgiven.” There was the
revelation that Allah has forgiven the mistakes of all such
persons which are mentioned as above. It is written in
the books that Khwaja Sahib was a person who listens to
Sama and due to the reason of the  drowning  in the wine of
the love of Allah he used to be live in the condition of ecstasy
always. One who will sit with him will become a person of Sama
listener. Khwaja Sahib some time who used to hear Indian
musical mode also. He was Quran-conner and who used to
finish daily basis two times of Holy Quran. And on every
time upon the finish of the Quran, he used to hear invisible that
“ We have accepted it.” When Hazrat Khwaja Usman Haruni
was given him his seat of teaching then he has told him that
“You have worn the saintly dress of darwesh person so you
should do the work of the darwesh persons.” The darwesh
observe hunger, and to see grief and sadness so with the
people indigence, grief and happiness both are same and as
well as similar the comfort and wound. The darwesh person
should love poor and fakir persons. And he should live in the
company of poor and darwesh persons. He should be refraining
away from the people of the world. Then he was done like that
he has become a close person of Allah and who is glorious. Then
Khwaja Usman Haruni caught the hand of Hazrat Moinuddin
Chisti and he said that “Oh Allah accept Moinuddin and made
the close person of your court”. Then there came a call from
invisible source in which it was heard that we have written him
in the category of the names of our beloved persons. And made
him chief of the people of saintly guides. One who will stay in
his company then he will become a holy person as well as a
person of the miracle.
It is written that in Baghdad there were lived seven monks
persons and who were persons of mystical exercise and
endeavours. They used to eat one loaf of the food after a
period of the passing of the six months. Mankind has become
their devotees for the above reason in this matter. One who
went into their presence then they used to talk with all of
them. One day those seven monks went into the respectable
presence of Khwaja Sahib and when on the monks look of the
sheikh of time was fallen upon them and due to its horror, all
were falling down on the foot of the Khwaja Sahib. He has told
them that “It is surprising that you worship undesirable God it
means fire.” Then they said that “We used to worship fire
because on the day of the judgment there will be the salvation
of the fire for us. And have the look of honour on us.” They said
that “You are a worshipper of Allah and if the fire will not harm
then we will accept our faith in Allah.” Khwaja Sahib said to
them that “Not only us but to our sandals fire will not harm.”
Then they said that if they will see such by our eyes then they
surely will accept in your Islamic religion. He has put his sandals
in the fire pit and he has said that “Oh fire never did harm to
my sandals.” And soon the fire becomes cold and did no harm
to the sandals a little to it. Then there was heard an invisible
call in which it was heard that “ What is the power of fire to
harm to my friend's sandals.” When the monks have seen such
situation and they were afraid in this matter and reciting Islamic
creed immediately there and were become his disciples and
were later become holy persons of Allah.
There is a tradition that once Khwaja Sahib was in traveling
and he was reached in the land of infidel persons and they were
able to know that some Muslim persons have reached in their
place. So, for this reason, all came there with their weapons
and with swords in their hands. When they have seen his face
then they said all in one voice  and they requested in his service
that “ We all are obedient and so there should be required your
kindness and favour so that we can become Muslim persons.
So, for this reason, Khwaja Sahib asked all of them to recite the
Islamic creeds at that place. Afterward, all infidels persons of
that area accepted the Islamic religion on his hand. It is said
that during the period of Khwaja Sahib a large number of
infidels people who have accepted Islamic religion on the hand
of the Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti.
For his travel to Ajmare then he has reached to Delhi from
Lahore and he has stayed in Delhi for some days then he was
departed for Ajmare journey. It is reported that during the
ruling period of Sultan Shamsuddin, Khwaja Sahib has visited
Delhi again. Moulana Masood who has stated on the report of
the Khwaja Sahib’s servant Moulana Ahmed that when Khwaja
Sahib came to Delhi from Ajamre then he was returned back to
Ajmer. And its details are as follows that “Syed Wajihuddin
Mashadi who was police inspector in-charge of the Ajmer. And
who had one daughter who was well known for her chastity
and grace and her name was Mubarak Bibi Ismat and at that
time she became, adult. And Syed Sahib wants to marry his
daughter with the son of the holy person. But in this matter,
there was not found a suitable bridegroom for her. So, for this
reason, he was worried and upset.” One night he was seen
Imam Jaffer Sadiq in his dream and who said to him that “ Oh
my son there is the intention of the prophet on this matter . So,
for this reason, you marriage your pious daughter with the light
of my eyes and who is my son Moinuddin Hasan Sanjari.” When
Syed Wajhiuddin was explained about this event to the Khwaja
Sahib so he said that even though he is in the last part of his
age but as there is an indication of the last prophet for which
he cannot refuse in this matter. After the marriage, Khwaja
Sahib was lived for a period of seven years. At the age of 97
years, he died on Monday on the six Rajab in the year 633
Hegira. This saying was written in the book Sair Arifin.
The Urs (death anniversary)
People from various walks of life, irrespective of caste and
creed, assemble to celebrate the Urs (death anniversary) which
takes place on the 6th day of Rajab of Muslim calendar at the
famous shrine (Dargah) of Khwaja Moinuddin in Ajmer every
year. Several hundred thousand devotees from near and far,
irrespective of religion and beliefs, gather there to seek
blessings. This Fakira and lowest personality also celebrate
death anniversary on the above date for the Shiekh of time
Khwaja Sahib. In another manuscript of the book, it was written
that after this marital status he was lived a period of 17 years in
the world. And then his age was reached to 117 years. In the
Malfuzat ( saying of saints) it was mentioned that on his death
there were written on his forehead of the light that “ He is a
friend of Allah and who died in the love of Allah.” Abdul Haq
who was written in Akbar Akhyar similar written as above. From
another saying, it is known that he was died in the month of Zill
Hajj and in the same year which is written as above. But the
first saying in this matter is right. In the Ajmer, he has buried in
his place of residence. First, the grave of Khwaja Sahib was built
with bricks and foundation stones but later after a long period
of time, there was the building of the box of the stone upon it
by leaving the grave. So for this reason grave was become very
high. First, Khwaja Hussain Nagori who built the shrine building
and after that the kings of having building door of the shrine
building. When Khwaja Sahib was deported to another world
from this mortal world than a group of holy persons who have
soon the prophet of Allah in their dream and who said that
“The friend of Allah Moinuddin Hasan has come there. We are
standing to welcome him there.” It is said that one holy person
has seen him in the dream and he has asked with him that
“How were agonies of the death, and condition of the grave
and questioning of the angles.?” He has said that “Due to the
mercy and kindness of Allah everything was easy for him in this
matter.” But he was taken under the empyrean and he was
asked why you such afraid? and he has replied that “Due to
your anger and majesty.” And he was told that “One who
recites verse Baqra on the 10th date of Zil Hajj then what is fear
for him.?” I have forgiven you and have added among the
persons of realization.”
The meaning of the city of Ajmer is that there was one ruler
and he was named Wa Aja and whose rule was up to Ghazni
from India and who rehabilitated Ajmer. And the word Mair in
Hindi is called a mountain. And the first wall which was built on
the mountain which is called Kohe Ajmer. And the first
reservoir who was dug out in India in Phukar place. And which
14 Kose (one kose =one a quarter to 3 miles ) from Ajmer. By
the grace of Allah who is Lord of all creations and this Fakir
(Darwesh) of lowly and very humble person and well-wisher
Moinuddin Hasan Sanjari was able to get the wealth of the
kissing of the great Sheikh Khwaja Usman Haruni in the mosque
of Hadrat Junaid of Baghdad and at that time respectable
Mashaiq (saintly guides) persons were present there in the
service of  the Sheikh. When I put my head on the earth then
Sheikh told me to pray two Rakats (one Rakat = one set of
standing, genuflexion, and prostration in prayer) of thanks so I
was performing the prayer. Then Sheikh asked me to sit in the
direction of Qibla (the direction in which Muslim turns in
prayer). So I sat as per the instruction of the Sheikh. Then
Sheikh asked me to recite verse al-Baqra so I recited it. The
Sheikh asked me to recite twenty-one times “Subhan Allah, ” so
I recited it. Upon this Sheikh stood and looked at the sky and
said by holding my hand which is as follows.” I have taken
him towards Allah ”. And after this he was taken scissor in the
hand and cut some hairs from my head and put on my head the
four ends Turkey cap and awarded me the special robe of rag
dress to this sincere devotee of the Sheikh and Sheikh asked me
to sit there so I sat there and he said, “ In our system
of lineage there is practice of eight parts of endeavour is there
so you should busy tonight and today in the endeavour.” So as
per Sheikh’s instruction I spent one night and one day in this
endeavour and the next day I have visited Khwaja Saheb and he
asked for me to sit there so I sat there. The Sheikh asked for me
to recite 1000 times Sura (verse) Iqlas so I recited it. The Sheikh
was asked to see in the sky so I looked at the sky. So Sheikh was
asked what I was observed there. So I replied to him that, “ Up
to the great Arsh (empyrean) everything is seen by me.”
Then Sheikh was, told me to look at the earth so I looked at the
earth, then he was asked me, “What I was seen there.” So I
replied, “ I could see up to the veil of the greatness.” The
Sheikh was asked to close my eyes so I closed the eyes, then he
was asked me to open the eyes. When I opened my eyes then
Sheikh has shown me two fingers and asked what is seen by
me there?, then I replied him that,” I could see 18,000 kinds
of  creations (Maqluq) there.” When I replied this then Sheikh
told me, “ Go your work is adorned”. There was one brick,
which was lying there so he asked to me to overturn it so I did
the same and find there was one fist of gold Dinars were
available there so he asked me to take the same and
distributed among the poor persons as a charity. When I
distributed the Dinars among the poor persons and Sheikh
asked me to stay there for some days. So I told the Sheikh that I
am a  sincere slave and ready to obey his order.
Then Sheikh started his journey towards Makkah. This was
the first journey of a well-wisher. In this way, we have arrived in
one city and was seen a group of intimate persons of
Allah were there and they were in the condition of
unconsciousness. We were there in the company of the above
pious persons for some days and till our presence, they could
not come back in the normal condition. Then we visited
Makkah City and visited Holy Ka’ba. In that place, Khwaja Saheb
took my hand there and handed over me to Allah. Under the
drain-pipe of the Holy Ka’ba Khwaja Saheb in his hymn prayed
for this Derwesh person. So we heard there one divine call in
which it was heard “ We have accepted Moinuddin.” Upon this,
we have started our journey towards Madina and there we
have visited the mausoleum of Allah’s last holy prophet. The
Sheikh was asked to present my Salam so I presented my Salam
(Salutation ) there and was received a reply “ Wa lakum Salam
the Qutub of Mashiq (saintly guides) of the sea and jungles.”
When Khwaja Saheb heard this divine call then he told me “
Today my work is completed.”
In this way, I was on the journey for a period of ten years with
Khwaja Saheb. After that Khwaja Saheb came back to Baghdad
from his long journey and he settled down there in loneliness.
After this, I started my journey of ten years while taking
spouted jug and sleeping, cloth on my head and upon the
completion of the above period of the journey I have come
back to Baghdad and settled down there in loneliness and met
Khwaja Saheb there.
At that time Sheikh Sahib informed me that he would live in
loneliness and he would not come out of his residence for some
period of time, so he should visit him at the time of chaste
(mid-morning) so that he would give him instructions about
Faqar (indigence) so that with the help of his instructions he
can adopt Faqar. Also, these instructions and advice will help
his disciples and followers after him and with these sayings, he
will be remembered always. The well-wishers followed the
Sheikh’s instructions in this matter and he was used to visiting
Sheikh on a daily basis and he would use to hear
whatever Sheikh used to say to him and in this way all his
sayings and advice were recorded by me and I have arranged all
his sayings in the book in 28 chapters and given its name
as Anis al-Arwa.
In short Khwaja Usman Haruni has said to Khwaja Moinuddin
that “He has done all this perfection for the sake of you so you
should act upon the instructions so that he will not be ashamed
on the day of the judgment for this reason.” Then he has given
to me saintly dress, staff and prayer carpet. And he has told me
that “ These things which are memorable from our spiritual
masters and so take care to protect all these things and to
forward these things to the person of the way. He was among
persons who belong to loneliness. It is reported that he was
used to be engaged in the supererogatory prayers in the
presence of Lord the excellence and who is peerless. And he
used to send always blessing on the soul of the prophet. And he
used to recite ‫هللا الرَّ حْ ٰم ِن‬
ِ ‫ ِبسْ ِم‬  at the time eating his food. Some
persons said that he was not married but others have said that
he was married but no children were born to him. These two of
the sayings are not correct in this matter. He has two wives
with him and sons have been born to him. As mentioned by
Abdul Haq that in the Akbar Akhyar that he has two wives with
him. And one among them is Ismat Bibi and about her we have
mentioned details in the previous pages of this book. The
reason of the marrying with second wife Bibi Amtullah is that
one night he has seen the prophet of Allah in his dream and
who told him that “Oh light of my eyes, my son you have
ignored one of my practice.” By chance ruler of fort of Batli and
whose was his disciple and his name was Malik Qitab and who
fought with infidel persons while entering into their area and
caught one daughter of the raja in the battle and made her
imprison and who brought the princess in the presence of
Khwaja Sahib and so he was accepted the daughter of the Raja
in his marriage proposal. And her name was given as Amtallah.
And from his two wives, there were born children to Khwaja
Sahib. Hazrat Bi Bi Hafiz Jamal was born by Bi Bi Amtallah and
the grave of Bi Bi Hafiz Jamal is at the foot side of his father.
And her husband’s name was Hafiz Rahimi and his grave is
situated in one the villages of Nagore and which is at the bank
of sandal reservoir and from this daughter, two boys were born
and who died at the smaller age. There is saying of the people
that Bi Bi Hafiz Jamal is not the daughter of the Khwaja Sahib
which is not correct. It is written that he has three sons.1.
Sheikh Abu Saeed 2. Sheikh Fakeruddin 3.Shiekh Husamuddin.
And in this matter, there is a difference that the above 3 sons
are from Bi Bi Asmat or Bi Bi Amtalla. Syed Mohammed Gesu
Daraz who was a disciple of Khwaja Nasiruddin who is among
the group some persons who have confirmed that 3 sons are
born from Bi Bi Ismat.Syed Shamsuddin Taher who is among
the group many persons that Sheikh Abu Saeed from Bi Bi
Asmat and Sheikh Husamuddin and Sheik Fakheruddin are born
from Bi Bi Amtallah. So God knew better in this matter. It is
stated that Sheikh Fakheruddin who was a holy person and his
position belongs to the higher grade person. And who used to
engage in the agriculture work and who was resident of the
Mandan village and which was in the suburb of Ajamare. In the
Malfuzat (sayings) Chistia book, it was written that there was
one village which belonged to sons of the Khwaja Sahib.
And the ruler who used to annoyed them so, for this reason,
one son of the Khwaja Sahib went to Delhi for this reason. He
was that Sheikh Fakheruddin. And who lived for a period of 20
years upon the death of his father. He has died in Sarwar village
and which is 16 Kose away from Ajmer. And his grave is
available in the above village. And which is near a water
reservoir. And Sheikh Husamuddin who is the younger son of
the Khwaja Sahib and who was vanished away and he was
included among Adbadals (an order of saints) persons. Sheikh
Abdul Haq was written that Khwaja Sahib had children with him
and it is sure in this matter. Some other persons say that he did
not have children who are not correct. And about mention of
his children of the Khwaja Sahib which is recorded in the
Malfuazat of the Mashiq Chistia.

Sheikh Farid who was grandson Sheikh Hameeduddin and
who was reported from his father that Khwaja Sahib asked with
him that “Oh Ahmed what is the there reason that before he
was strong and young and whatever he used to ask from the
court of Allah which will be awarded to me immediately. Now
he has become an old and weak person. And our supplication is
not granted soon.” So I said to him that “It is apparent upon
you that till the Prophet Eisa was not born then Hazrat Maryam
used to get fruits of the winter season in the summer season.
And without reason of the asking the fruits which will be
available in the arch. When Prophet Eisa was born then Hazrat
Maryam was expecting the sustenance in the same way. So
then she was given the order to go and shake the date tree and
get fresh dates from there. In short in this condition and in that
other condition there is some difference only. This reply was
very much approached by the Sultan of Ajmer. There is
mentioned in the tradition that one son of the Khwaja Sahib
and whose name was Sheikh Hussamuddin Soqta and who has
a higher position in grief. And who has the company of Hazrat
Nizamuddin Badayuni. And his grave is available in the Sambar
village in the western direction in the village on the Ajmer road.
Khwaja Moinuddin Khurd and who is the elder son of Sheikh
Hussamuddin Soqta. And who has a spiritual connection with
Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti so for this reason for him this is
sufficient for his holiness in this matter. Khwaja Khurd who was
a great holy person of his time. And before becoming disciple
he has did edeavours and mystical exercise and was obtained
perfection in this matter by the source of the Khwaja
Moinuddin Chisti. At last, as per the order of Khwaja Moinuddin
Chisti, he has become a disciple of Hazrat Sheikh Nasiruddin
Mahmood and was wear the saintly dress. There was among
one grandson of Khwaja Buzrug (Khaja Moinuddin Chisti) and
whose name was Sheikh Ba Yazid who belongs to the famous
saintly person during the period of Sultan Mahmood Khilji. He
came back to Ajmare after his long journey and made his claim
of the progeny of the Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti and Sultan has
sent him for the teaching work of the knowledge of Islamic
religion in the area of Ajmer. And Sheikh Ahmed Majrad said
that the difference about his progeny of Sheikh Ba Yazid with
Khwaja Sahib after his coming to Ajamre after a long period of
time and upon this one group of persons have refused his
progeny with Khwaja Sahib in this matter. And they have
reported this matter to the sultan of the time in this matter. So,
for this reason, the Sultan of Delhi has asked the learned and
saintly persons so Sheikh Hussain Nagori and Moulana Rustam
Ajmeri and who were among learned persons of time as well as
ancient people from Ajmare and they have given witness with
other saintly guides that his genealogy record which is as
follows.
“Sheikh Bayazid Sheikh Qiyamuddin Bin Sheikh Hishammuddin
Bin Sheikh Fakheruddin Bin Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin. So he is
from among sons of the Sultan of Ajmare and we and Sheikh
Hussain have a link in this matter for happiness so for this
reason it can be said that Sheikh Bayazid is among sons of the
Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti. And so from this, it is confirmed that
Sheikh Hussain is among sons of the Sultan of Ajmer. And
Sheikh of time is Sadat Hussaini (was both a Hasani (maternal)
and Husseini (paternal) Syed. And there is no doubt he is
among the sons of the last prophet of Allah. He was called
Chisti because Chist is a village in the country of Khurasan.
