    Jahanara Begum was a learned and famous Mughal princess known for her book Monis al-Arwa, a biography of the great Sufi saint Moinuddin Chisti. As the eldest child of Shah Jehan, she became the first lady after her mother's death and was a powerful woman during her brother Shah Jahan's rule. She was devoted to Sufism and was initiated into the Qadiriyya order, writing biographies of Moinuddin Chisti and her teacher Mullah Badakhshi. The translation of her book is hoped to spread the message of her piety and devotion to the poor, establishing her fame globally despite living in a palace as a princess.

    She was the lovely and famous learned Mughal princess
    And her most famous book Monis al-Arwa is well known
    About  the Sultan of India, famous as Moinuddin Chisti
    He was a great Sufi and a great ruler of the Indian people
    She was  eldest child of Shah Jehan known as Begum Sahib
    On the death of her mother she has become the first lady
    She was the powerful woman during the Shah Jahan's rule
    Jahanara was an ardent partisan of her brother Dara Shukoh
    Jahanara sided with the heir-apparent Dara against Augranzeb
    A kind daughter, she took care of Shah Jahan until his death
    Together with Dara, she was a disciple of Mullah Badakhshi
    Who initiated her into Qadiriyya Sufi order due to her devotion
    She wrote a biography of Moinuddin Chishti, who was a saint
    Fame as Mu’nis al-Arwāḥ,  and the biography of Mullah Shah
    Hafeez is a servant and devotee of Khaja Sahib for a long time
    Who has translated his book Anis Arwa which is world-famous
    Oh Allah accept my English translation of Jehan Ara’s fine book
    I hope that due to the sincerity of Jehanara her book will shine
    Even Jehanara lived in the palace but has the devotion of fakirs
    So this reason her book will become a global book in the world
    Even though Jehanara is a princess of the Mughal Kingdom
    But she has guided of the pious persons due to her conduct

    She is a dweller of the palace but did not forget the poor
    persons
    So, for this reason, she is like a pearl and pious among mankind
    She was the helper of poor and follower Sultan of the
    Ajamire
    So being prince Jehanara she was an indigent person of her
    time
    For the sake of the sultan Ajmare of Monis Arwa will shine soon
    And will create a great record of sales of Prince Jehanara's book
