LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, most pupils will be able to ask for and give basic personal information using basic questions

1. Review lesson in year 1 on self introduction.


2. Display target language on the board.
3. Guide pupils to practise using the target language.
4. Conduct ‘Hot Seat’ activity.
5. Ask one volunteer to sit in the ‘Hot Seat’ in front of the class.
6. Teacher starts the activity by asking a question to the Hot Seat volunteer using the

Question: What’s your name?
7. The hot seat volunteer answer the question.
Answer: My name is Adam.
8. Teacher writes the response from the ‘Hot Seat’ volunteer on the board.
9. Repeat steps by asking pupils to ask other targeted questions, one by one and
teacher writes the responses on the board.
