L&D Activity Objectives/Outcomes

The objectives for me is to have a therapeutic communication between the health workers and the
patient / relatives. The outcomes of this patient journey cascading is to make our patients recovered in
their illness and acknowledge their anxiety and worries by having a good patient care.

Patient Journey from Emergency Room up to discharge. Upon receiving patients make them in a
comfortable position, greet them and introduce yourself and explain the reason why they are in
a non – covid area or Covid area. Reassure the patient and the relatives that you and the other
health care team will do their best. Educate the relatives regarding financial matter through the
help of Medical Social Services. And most of all provide appropriate Nursing Care with
Compassion and Empathy. Let them feel the ALAGANG RIZALMED.

This Patient Journey cascading made us more knowledgeable in handling patient care through physical,
moral, behavioural, and spiritual aspect. The quality of good patient care is not measure by treating them
by giving medications but also giving them with empathy through their experienced in staying at Rizal
Med.
