7641 Island aims to be the best café shop in the country and will represent the whole
country both in the coffee industry and souvenirs.
 Introduce the beauty of the Philippines to the Filipinos as well to foreigners.
 Produce high quality drinks and desserts with freshly harvest ingredients.
 Help local souvenir shops to market their products to a wider reach.
 Help local farmers in their business by incorporating their fresh harvests in our
products.

BACKGROUND OF BUSINESS
7641 Island is a souvenir café shop that is established in year 2021. It offers high quality
drinks and desserts made from fresh ingredients produced in the Philippines. It also offers
vivid and beautiful souvenirs from famous local shops in the country. Some of the
souvenir items include coffee mugs, shirts, postcards, hand-made collection and others.
The main concept of the café shop is ‘Island’ thus incorporating the culture and
authenticity of the archipelago by using the famous tourist spots of the country for
naming the drinks and desserts. The main concept will also be manifested in the interior
design and mood of the business.

PRODUCTS AND SERVICES


This business is a combined cafe and souvenir shop. Most of the menu for the cafe is
based on locally famous ingredients in the country like the tropical fruits such as coconut,
mangoes, banana, pineapple, java plum and many more. For the souvenir shop, the place
where the business is will feature the items of that place. For example, if the business is
in Manila, the souvenir items will be focused on Manila only.

SOUVENIRS
The souvenirs can go in actual size of the item or keychain type of souvenir. Below is the
list of items for the souvenir part of the business:
 Wooden carved jeepney - Jeepneys are the most popular transportation in the
Philippines and in due time it became one of the symbols of the Philippines.
 Hand-held fan (Abaniko) – This is a traditional fan that originated in the country.
 Wooden keychain – the keychains exhibits the quality of the creation of wood
carving by the creator. It showcases the talent of the Filipinos in art especially in
designing and wood carving.
 Hand weave bag – the same as wood carving, Filipinos are talented in weaving,
the weaving pattern shows the ethnicity of the Filipino which is part of the culture
of the ethnic groups in the country.
 Printed design of Philippine Flag – The flag of the Philippines has a great history
that make it more symbolic for the country. This design is a must as a keychain or
to put in a mug and t-shirts.

The target audience of this business are mostly the students and the academic personnel
near the physical store. This kind of business is usually popular to teenagers. This place

ROLES AND TASKS
 CEO (General Manager) – The CEO of the owner of the cafe is the highest
authority, where he makes major decisions and manages overall operation by
incorporating strategic direction inside the café.
 Steward – The steward is responsible for keeping the cafe clean and sanitized,
and in-charge for handling customer related concerns.
 Souvenir Inventory Officer – In-charge for overseeing and maintaining the cafe
souvenir supply, keeping track of the delivery processes, and ensuring that all the
souvenir stocks are always in place and organize.
 Cook – In-charge preparing food and assuring that all the dishes are safe and
clean before serving in any case, food adjustments may happen depending on the
customer's request.
 Dishwasher – Responsible for bussing table, washing dishes and making the
