You are a Manager in a logistics company (AXYZ Pty Ltd) that is undertaking an extensive change
management intervention to:
Review operational processes along the supply chain to increase productivity in Australia by
20% at the end of the intervention
Your change management team comprises of personnel from the company and staff that has been
employed under flexible work arrangements to support the intervention.
Helen White, HR specialist, from the company assigned to your team full time.
Marco Verde, an expert in logistics, from the Italian division of the company, transferred to
the head office in Australia for the duration of the intervention. Full time.
Akiko Ki, quality management officer, from the Japanese office, expert in quality

She is able to help other team members and she is
learning in the areas of self- regulation and self-
awareness.
Marco Verde Marko needs to work in some areas of the skills like: empathy,
social skills and other emotional intelligence skills. He is well
organised and he is well developing the tasks.
Akiko Ki Akiko’s is a perfectionist and expert in quality
management. She can assist the team achieving quality
results while learning to be more productive and
approve more of her strengths like social skills.
David Purple David is intelligent and his social skills are excellent. He has to
learn more about the business development and attend more
training and coaching sessions, improve more skills that will
help him to achieve more goals.
Jada Red Jada is good at developing skills in the areas of self-
awareness, self – regulation and motivation. Other team
members should develop this skills further more. Jada
needs to do more research and learn how to approve
more skills.

Developing a positive environment for working and show gratitude to the employers, will
encourage them to think wisely and be more confident. Having conversation on professional
and if they need in personal situation and giving them support and help about that they could
be releaved. Random coaching sessions about emotional intelligence and having brunch
meetings to talk about their work problems, could reduce the tension between the colleagues
and the team members.
Describe the application of cultural intelligence to lead and manage the team.

Gaining cultural knowledge through multiple channels, such as newspapers, movies, books,
traveling to another country, or working with or being friends with people from a different
culture could lead and manage the team.
But in this case a bit of researching and sharing the knowledge could be important for the
team members.
