MANWEIR LLC, established in 1976, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mannai Corporation
QSC which is listed on the Qatar Exchange since August 08, 2007. Initially associated
through a management and technical agreement with Weir Pumps of Scotland, Manweir’s
services are geared primarily to serve the Oil & Gas sectors including Petrochemical,
Fertilizers, Marine & Power generation industries in Qatar and neighbouring GCC
states. Two facilities situated at Salwa industrial area and Ras Laffan Industrial City,
spanning over 66,000 sqm are center of excellence with state-of-the- art Machine tools
including CNC Machines complete with a wide range of precision Inspection, Measuring
& Test Equipment. Manweir is a reliable source for high quality, technically advanced

Manweir’s Ras Laffan facility covers a total area of 46,000 Sqm utilizing 7 overhead and

 . Advanced Machining Center
Manweir’s large Machine shops at the Salwa industrial area and
Ras Laffan Industrial city are well equipped to cater to the needs of
the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Utilities and Marine industries.
Manweir is geared with all types of heavy duty & precision machine
tools including CNC machines, specializing in the machining and
threading of OCTG including manufacture, repair & remanufacture
of various oilfield equipment.

The fleet of CNC machines also includes the advanced 4 axis

vertical machining center, 4 axis horizontal boring machine which
could work as 6 axis with cogs drill attachments and Vertical turret
lathe with machining capacity for components of size 144 inches
Diameter .”

Manweir has added reverse engineering capabilities to its shop-

floor services portfolio in managing to supply critical components/
spares in case of urgencies to reduce equipment downtime.
In-house highly skilled and competent staffs are well versed with
the usage of the new generation of FAROArm CMM integrated with
advanced CADCAM software solutions from Delcam to ensure all
engineered parts are produced with precision care, perfect in all
respects and fit for intended service.

Other activities include manufacture of special Fishing Tools,

Centralizers, Scrapers, Jetting Tools, all types of Gears, Orifice
Plates, Orifice Flanges, Drip Rings, Thermowells, Spades, Spectacle
blinds, Tubing & Casing Drifts, Quick Union sets and various other
pipe fittings including high pressure Autoclave fittings. The facility
also specializes in repair & remanufacture of Slush pump modules.

Electrical Repair Solutions

Manweir offers complete set of electrical repair solutions such
as Rewinding, Repairing, Overhauling of all types of Motors (AC
& DC), Generators & Transformers including Explosion Proof/
Flame Proof designated motors. The facility is also geared for
Transformer oil testing & analysis complete with purification &
regeneration services.

Manweir provide electricians on 24x7 call-out basis to troubleshoot/

repair electrical equipment related to the marine, industrial &
oilfield services for both offshore & onshore installations.

Manweir, a member of AEMT for more than 25 years, was recently

audited by SGS Baseefa Ltd. UK and the facility was approved as
an IECEx CoC Certified Services Facility for Repair & Overhauling
of Rotating Machines & Enclosures designed for use in explosive
monitored and controlled by qualified personnel trained in the
repair and overhaul of EX Electrical Apparatus.

Transformer Oil Purification & Regeneration Services

The necessity for regular purification of electrical insulating fluids
in electrical apparatus has been recognized for a very long time.
Moisture, solids and gaseous contaminants can seriously affect the
function of electrical insulating fluids as a coolant and insulator. The
unit could be used for the processing (degasification, dehydration,
filtration and de-acidification) of transformer insulating oil. The
unit capacity is up to 3000 Ltrs /hour.

The unit is for on-site use to completely regenerate insulating

oils in transformers. The use of the Regeneration Plant is in the
removal of acidity, sludge, other soluble oil decay products and
discoloration while leaving the oil with excellent oxidation stability
and reduced gassing tendency. The regeneration unit works in
conjunction with the purification unit and is mounted on a skid
and could be moved to different location to carry out onsite
processing.

High and consistent efficiency of this unit ensures complete

treatment of oil to comply with IEC publication 296 for new oils.
The oil processing capacity of this unit is 4000 ltrs per hour.

Transformer Oil Testing analysis

Manweir in conjunction with our sister company Gulf Laboratories
has established a transformer oil testing and analysis facility to
cater to the existing as well as the growing market requirement.

Skilled Technicians provide round the clock services for overhaul and refurbishment of all types of Static,
Rotating and Reciprocating equipment maintenance, repair and overhaul ( MRO) services. Siemens, A global
powerhouse in electrical and mechanical engineering, has audited and authorized the Manweir Workshop as a
facility equipped for repairs on Steam Turbines and Compressors under Siemens supervision.

The facility also undertakes refurbishment of all types of

The pressure test bay is equipped with high pressure and high volume test units for carrying out pressure
testing of equipment including availability of submerged/underwater gas test facility meeting API - 6A PSL 3G
requirement. The facility is equipped with 60 ton OH crane capacity to handle heavy equipment.

Valves & Instrumentation

Manweir Instrumentation and Valve Shop specializes in repairs,
overhauling and testing of all types of Instruments & valves
such as control valves, pressure relief valves, safety valves & line
valves up to 52 inch size. We also provide onsite maintenance
services during planned shutdowns with well equipped portable
workshops including Zone 1 compatible container with OEM
trained competent technicians.

Manweir is a Designated Repair Center for the overhaul and repair

of Safety Relief Valves manufactured by Anderson Greenwood
Crosby of Tyco Flow Control Group, UK, IMI Bailey Birkett safety
& relief valves, Farris Valve Systems, METSO Automation Control
Valves and KITZ Corporation Line Valves.

Calibration Lab-Metrology
Specializes in Calibration, Verification, Servicing and Testing of all Precision Measuring instruments used in
Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical devices for Linear, Pressure, Thermal & Torque measurements of both Analog
& Digital types.

overlays to facilitate the repair and remanufacture of oil field equipment.
Facility is also capable of refurbishment of Stabilizers with cemented
carbide dressing. Onsite fabrications and other general structural
fabrication and welding services are also undertaken.

Skilled Field Service Technicians are available on 24 hour call basis for

servicing, repairs, overhauls, and refurbishment of all types of static,
rotating and reciprocating equipment, including wellhead maintenance,
valve overhauling and instrument calibrations etc. Also available
are the services of qualified coded Welders, Fabricators, qualified
Welding Inspectors, skilled Machinists, Fitters, General Technicians, QC
Inspectors, Valve Technicians, Instrument technicians, NDT technicians,
Heat Treatment Technicians, Engine Mechanics, Electricians, Planning

This division is engaged in supplying the oil industry with equipment, tools and services required for
exploration, drilling and production and of hydrocarbons. Through its association with international
companies, this division markets products and services of leading oil field equipment manufacturers,
suppliers and service companies.
The division also deals with the rental of Water Weights equipment complete with Water Bags, Load Cells, and
Shackles etc. Various capacities of Water Weights such as 2t, 3t, 10t, 12t, 25t, 35t, 50t & 75 ton including 6 ton
Life Boat Test Gear are available in-house on rental basis
