LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, most pupils will be able to find and correct any language or spelling mistakes in
M sentences correctly.

C At the end of the lesson, most pupils will be able to spell words correctly.

1. Put the pupils into pairs or small groups.


2. Give them a time limit (e.g. 2 minutes) and ask them to write down as many words as
they can from the last lesson or from the unit.
I. PRE-LESSON
3. The pair or group that can remember the most items wins.
4. Variation: To add a spelling accuracy component, teams can also earn an extra point
for each correctly spelt item.

1. Ask pupils to look again at the True/False sentences they wrote about their own
collages.
2. Let them read carefully and try to find and correct any language or spelling mistakes.
3. Pupils swap their collages and sentences with another pair.
II. LESSON 4. The pair reads the sentences and corrects the information of any false sentences.
DEVELOPMENT 5. Ask pupils to check spelling and language in the sentences.
6. Pupils can pretend to be a teacher in steps 3-5.
7. Pupils swap back the collages and sentences.
8. Pupils now re-write correct and true sentences about their collages.
9. Display the collages.

1. Play “Pass The Ball’ game with the pupils. Tell them your target vocabulary.
2. Get the pupils into a tight circle, so they don't have far to pass the ball between

3. The pupil must say the word in a loud voice and pass the ball onto the next person.
