    PHILIPPINES’ OLD BASIC EDUCATION K-12 STANDARD BASED EDUCATION

    10 years of basic education. New system with global standard, 12 years of


    Old Curriculum shows means for Kinder but education.
    not necessary, 6 years in Elementary and 4 K to 12 shows means for Kinder, 6 years in
    years in Junior High School only. Elementary, 4 years in Junior High School and
    additional 2 years in Senior High school for the
    reason that they can find a job even not taking
    tertiary education.
