The 'Liberal' system has been designed following years of research and uses up to date materials,
construction techniques and the latest methods in performance testing.

The 'Liberal' sports is leading supplier for the PCB — the first approved system in nearly a decade. The
Liberal net cages are unique, modern design which provides a balanced game between bat and ball and is
proven to encourage turn more than other artificial surfaces.

System Design Facts

Concrete Kerb Edge — The first and only company to install concrete kerb edges as standard. Every
system (Except Match Pitches) is built as one complete base construction using concrete Kerb edging
around the perimeter of the system. This means there is no need for timber edging within the playing area
resulting in reduced risk of hard areas, trip hazards or movement within the system.

Greater Depth of Aggregates — All installations are constructed using only primary aggregates and to the
required depth following on site testing. A typical construction profile would be over 200 mm (8") in depth.

Steelwork — the Liberal installs a 4 m high steel tubular framework as standard. Using 48 mm galvanised
steel which are secured into 52 mm sockets, 500 mm into the ground. All components have been designed
to provide maximum longevity.
Netting System — The installation of the complete netting system. Enclosing and shielding cricketers.
Design Options - The to system offers unique design options with the white lines, protection tunnel and many
more.

existing cricket ground improvement at Valencia Cricket Ground, Block D. This document will outline
design specifications and costs for the following project:

Project Design Specifications

1. INSTALLATION OF CRICKET PRACTISE CAGE FACILITY AND CEMENT CRICKET PITCHES

The Liberal Cricket Cage System is a popular batting cage with fewer parts to make
setup easier. This batting cage uses a hung premium nylon netting with storing
boxes which enables to keep your nets safe.

The Liberal batting cage frame system includes 2.25″ outside diameter structural
steel pipes coated with the antirust paint. It has fewer components and offers free
and clear spans up to 85′ in either direction – without significant sag.

CONSTRUCTION OF CRICKET PITCH:

Technical Specification:
OVERALL SIZE: Length= 45’ Width = 9’ Depth= 14’’ Nos X 2
EXCAVATION Earth work in excavation up to 14 inches by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual
means over areas.
SAND LAYER Supplying and filling in plinth with local river sand under the turf.
COARSE AGGREGATE Providing and laying in position coarse aggregate 3’’ of specified grade excluding the
cost of labor work.
FINE CRUSH AGGREGATE Providing and laying fine crush aggregate 0.75’’ of specified grade excluding the
cost of labor work.
CEMENT WORK Bags of cement required = 40 nos
STEEL WORK Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including horizontals and longitudinal bars at spacing of 6’’
(including cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete upto plinth level).
BRICKWORK Laying of brick layer at all four corners of pitch for shuttering R.C.C work

LIBERAL OPTIONAL EXTRAS

Backstop Net/Sightscreen Netting

An extra section of netting behind the bowlers helps to reduce the
number of balls that get hit out of the practice area. By using smaller
gauge white netting this effectively becomes a sightscreen to improve
visibility for the batsmen. All sightscreen nets come with patented
out-riggers for added stability.
Prices for larger or Liberal sizes are available on request.

CRICKET NET VERMIN SKIRT

Heavy duty vermin skirt, specially designed to prevent wildlife
damaging the bottom of outdoor netting. Available in a height of 75cm
(29.5”) and optional lengths..

Restoration of existing main cricket pitch x 2 Nos

Technical Specification:
SPRAYING Fertilizer, anti-termite and pesticide treatment at each layer zone x 2 times.
PITCH CLAY Providing and laying of pitch clay, weight= 60 tons.
GRASSIFICATION Layer of complete grass patch work (local Dhaka).
CRICKET LOAM Used for top dressing of turf, Clay content between 25-35 %.
WATERING AND MAINTAINENCE Maintenance and service for one month to achieving quality standard
of a pitch.

Terms and condition:

All prices are valid for three months from date of proposal and are subject to
agreed payment terms alongside TP 'Terms & Conditions'. The following
costs are a breakdown of the submitted design specifications and liberal
sports design option. All costs are EXCLUSIVE of G.S.T and VAT

■ Materials will be delivered on site 'loose' and will be the responsibility of

the site to provide a hardcore
or firm area to protect the material prior to use.
■ A minimum of a 3m width access point is necessary to the site and
machinery can be stored on site
without cost.
■ There will be no site working restrictions imposed by the client or any
other parties. It is the sole
responsibility of the client to control the working environment within the
grounds and surrounding land. The inability to complete works may be
charged and would be agreed by the client and TP. All charges would be
based on the typical day rate for labour & expenses, addition costs may be
included for mobilisation, machinery hire, materials and any other relevant
costs can be included. A detailed list of costs can be provided prior to
agreeing the final charge.
■ No provision has been made for any aftercare/maintenance.
