    Activity : Community-based Training in Cookery NC II

    Duration : 316 hours (40) days

    Date : June 9, 2017 onwards

    Rationale:

    Cookery NC II is one of the identified Tech-Voch trainings that is requested by the Bogohanons and
    also a skill in demand to the labor market domestically and abroad.

    As a recipient of the TRABAJO Program of the Department of the Interior and Local Government
    (DILG), City of Bogo was required to prepare a Workforce Development Plan, wherein skills trainings
    of TESDA standard are to be identified to augment the workforce requirement of the city that cold
    empower the people and contribute the socio-economic growth of the populace and the city as a
    whole. As a developing city, Bogo has many food establishments that need manpower with proper
    skills in cooking; better yet, with the acquired competency in Cookery NC II, graduates may seek
    employment in bigger establishments domestically and abroad.

    Cookery NC II is not a registered program of Bogo LiTeS, thus the training can be considered a
    community-based but trainees upon completion of the training are qualified to be requested for
    assessment since a TESDA accredited trainer shall be out-sourced to ensure that the standard of
    training is based on TESDA training regulation. An in-house trainer in Cookery NC II can be
    developed by the city out of this training.

    Assessment fee is based on updated TESDA schedule of fees per TESDA CIRCULAR issued last
    January 08, 2016. Assessment fee reflected in the Workforce Development Plan is the outdated
    TESDA schedule of fees.
