impulse in the above diagram.
b. Draw a neat diagram of a synapse. In the diagram label the following parts; presynaptic neuron, post
synaptic neuron, Calcium channel, neurotransmitter receptors, synaptic cleft, synaptic vesicles and
synaptic knob.
c. At synapse nerve impulse transmit from pre to post synaptic neuron not reverse. Why?
d. In myelinated nerve fibre transmission of nerve impulse is faster than non – myelinated nerve fibre.
Why?
e. Give three reasons of polarization of nerve fibre.
f. Presence of acetylcholinesterase in the membrane of post synaptic neuron is essential. Why?
