RE: NARRATIVE REPORT ON OUR ON-THE-JOB TRAINING AT
CIVIL SECURITY OFFICE (CSO) BAIS.

The Civil Security Office is our Second agency, which we the student of Criminal
Justice Education in Negros Oriental State University Bais City rendered our 10 days
with 40 hours of duty as compliance to our subject PRACTICUM 141.

The office that enforces discipline managed by well trained personnel responsible
in safeguarding government properties as well as enforcing traffic laws and ordinances,
and in line with the city’s core values to support the total development of the city as a
premier Agro Ecotourism center in the Philippines.

Develop and enforce an effective system of providing security services that

ensures the protection and preservation of life, government properties and assets, and
Coordinate and links with other government and NGOs on matters related to effective
delivery of Security and Intelligence services.

First day of our On-The-Job-Training in the Civil Security Office in Bais City. I
arrived on or about 0630Hr, as a team leader I formed my co intern in to a platoon and
told them that we will proceed in the back of the city hall of Bais City and waited for Mr.
Erigil. After we wait Mr. Eregil told us to form a platoon in the parking lot on the city
hall and wait for a minute. Then Mr. Eregil and the head of task force came. Then they
introduced their selves and Mr. Eregil introduced us to the CSO and told us, what the job
of a CSO personnel are, afterwards Mr. Eregil said we will report to Mr. Llera the head of
task force LGU bais City. Then Mr. Llera told us what to do in the task force and he said
we will have our attendance in the office of task force and report to him, then he said to
group into two groups because we will have our designated area. The first group will be
assigned in the entrance and exit of the city hall of bais city and the second group will be
on the Multi-purpose gym or the evacuation center. I was in the second group so we
proceed on our area and I assigned them in various area in the Evacuation center, like the
parking area and the front area of the evacuation center. While myself, I go for a patrol in
our area and also in the city hall to supervise my Co-intern if they are doing the job that
are given to them. Then after that, the time for dismissal has come so we signed out and
go home.

October 15, 2019 I arrived at the office on or about 0630Hr. I together with some
of my co-intern waited outside the task force office waiting for the office to open. While
waiting, I and my co-intern standby in the ball field of bais city. Then on or about
0700Hr. a personnel arrived and opened the office so I go and get the attendance and
formed my co-intern in the parking lot after that I told them after attendance they may
proceed to their designated area. Same as the first day I patrol together with my co-intern
Winlan Toroy. Then after that we wait until our time of duty will end and we proceed to
dismissal.

On the third day of our OJT in the CSO, I arrived on the Office of the task force
early in the morning and waited for my co-intern, after I wait for my other co-intern the
office was open so we proceed in signing our attendance and told them after we did our
attendance we should proceed to our designated area and tell the other who will be late to
report to the office of task force. Afterwards while patrolling some personnel needs our
help on loading some chairs in the back of the truck and count the chairs it should not
exceed in 100 pieces. After we load everything I continue supervising and wait for
dismissal.

October 17, 2019. Thursday the first absent of my OJT. I did not come in the
office because I could not sleep properly because of the pain I felt in my stomach. But
still I called
My co-intern that I may not come to office and told my co-intern Julie Ann Palomar to
take over my post while I’m absent.

Friday October 18, 2019 it should be our fifth day of OJT but it was Buglasan
festival a holiday in the Negros Oriental. So we don’t have OJT.

Monday October 21, 2019. The sixth day of our OJT, we swapped area of the first
group and I instruct the other group what to do in the Evacuation center and I also ask
them what to do in the city hall. They said that be aware of some motorist who are
making the entrance as an exit. After that we proceed to the area and I divide my group in
to sets and put the other set in the exit point of the city hall and I was in the entrance
point. Then we wait for dismissal.

The seventh day of our OJT. I arrived on or about 0700Hr. Same as the previous
days we did our attendance when the office is open and proceed to our designated areas.
While on duty we also assisted some people, where in some are looking for a specific
office on the city hall and others especially the old people that needs assistance in calling
public transportation vehicles and then after our duty we did our dismissal.

On the 8th day of our OJT. We still did the things we did in the previous days
where in we assisted some people in the city hall and prevent some motorist from not
following the road signs on the city hall.

October 24, 2019. I arrived at the office on or about 0700hr, the first I did was to
do our attendance and then we proceed to our area of responsibility. We still did the
things we do in the past days and waited for the dismissal.

The last day of our On-The-Job-Training on the Civil Security Office of bais city.
I arrived in the office early in the morning and waited for my co-intern to arrive so that
we could do our attendance on the same time and then we proceed to our designated
areas. After our duty we all go to the office and ask the head of the task force to have a
photo with us for documentation after taking picture Mr. Llera ask us if we had learned
something while we are in duty on the CSO and he gave us some short speech for
motivation.
The experience we had in Civil Security Office even for just a short period of
time, I was able to learn a lot. As a criminology intern it was a privilege because with
those experience and learning I have possessed from the CSO it helped me develop a
sense of thinking that in just 10 days I was astonished in the knowledge I got. To Mr.
Llera who shared her knowledge to us and encouraged us to reach for our goals to make
it a success in the near future, it helped us a lot.

I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to the CSO who imparted their
knowledge with us and to all the people who gave advices in the performance of my duty.
