4 nos. Rails are used for launching, which are supporetd @ 500 c/c
Load on each rail = 6.25 T
Max. B.M. Developed on one rail = 0.781 TM
Rollers are rolled on ISMB 150 which are seating on 2-ISMB 600
With the above values the trestles are designed using STAAD
STAAD file "TF1.std" is attached herewith
Trestle legs are connceted with 12 th. Plate through 8 th. Fillet weld.
Weld length - 50 MM on all sides.
Strength of 8 mm fillet weld = 0.7*8*110*80% = 492.8 N/MM
Weld length required = 30 MM O.K.

Rollers are rolled over assembly comprsing of 2-ISMB 600 + 16th. 650 wide pl. attached
on top & bottom, which is spanning between trestles "TF2" & "TF3".

Considering 3 sheave pulley on one side and 2 sheave pulley on the other, mechanical
advantage available = 5
So, force on each wire rope = 15/5 = 3.0 T
Use 16 dia wire rope and 5 T capacity winch for pulling.
Minimum breaking force of 16 dia wire rope = 13.3T [IS 2266]
