Good morning class! Good morning ma’am!


Okay, you may now take your seats.
Before we proceed to our new topic for this
morning which is under in Physical
Education, let us have first an activity.
I will group your class into three. Okay,
Count 1 and 2. (the students counted 1 and 2)

Go to your corresponding and make a (the students respond immediately)

So now, I will give each group scrambled
pictures and you will be going to arrange it.
The first group who can arrange the
scrambled pictures will be given an addition
point. Then I’ll be asking some questions.

discuss the different Festival Dance in the (Some students are raising their hand)
Philippines.
Ma’am, it’s very enjoyable!
Who among you here had already join a
festival dance?
How was it?
Okay, very good!
Okay class, what is a Festival dance?
Anybody from the class? (the student raised his hand)

Yes, Marielle? Ma'am, Festival Dances are cultural dances


performed to the strong beats of
percussion instruments by a community of
people sharing the same culture usually
done in honor of a Patron Saint or in
thanksgiving of a bountiful harvest.
Very good, Marielle!
But the best thing about festivals is that
they add to the merry-making and
festivities where they are celebrated, the
reason why they are called festivals dances
after all.
We have two types of Festival Dances.
