Success Criteria
Pupils will be able to name the days of the week at least 2 using pictures.
Lesson delivery
2. Hold up each flashcards in turn and in sequence. Say the word for pupils to repeat in
chorus .
3. Do this 3 or 4 times.
LEARNING OUTLINES
4. Hold up each flashcard for pupils to say the word in chorus.
5. Write Days of the week in the middle of the board and stick the flashcards around it to
make a word map. (Critis Thinking)
6. Pupils look at the picture in their SB page 58.
7. Elicit what they have got on Saturday and Sunday. Check Understanding of vocabulary .
8. Play the recording .Pupils point to the days when they hear them.

9. Task 3 : Guess the word .

example, of them, their family, pet, a favourite something).
3. Pupils introduce their partner to the class.
4. These pictures can be left on the classroom wall to help you and the pupils get
to know each other.
