Technique: Imaging was performed with appropriately angled contiguous axial tomographic slices
of the abdomen & pelvis especially for KUB area without contrast administration. Multiplanar sagittal
and coronal, VRT and MIP reformation was also carried out.
FINDINGS:
Right Kidney: It is normal in size, shape and position. It measures x cm. Parenchyma
appears unremarkable. Contours are smooth. No visible cystic / solid mass or calculus is
evident. No hydronephrosis noted.
Left Kidney: It is normal in size, shape and position. It measures x cm. Parenchyma
appears unremarkable. Contours are smooth. No visible cystic / solid mass or calculus is
evident. No hydronephrosis noted.
Ureters: They are unremarkable throughout the course. No mural, intra-luminal or extra-
luminal abnormality identified along the course of the ureters.
Urinary bladder: Urinary bladder is well distended. No solid, cystic or calcified lesion is
evident within it. Both the ureters are seen opening normally into the urinary bladder.
General: Within limitations of non contrast enhanced scan liver, spleen, abdominal aorta,
pancreas, stomach, gallbladder and adrenals, paraspinal soft tissues, uterus and ovaries
appear unremarkable. No ascites observed. No para-aortic or pelvic lymphadenopathy is
noted. No visible bone lesion. The visualized lung bases clear.
IMPRESSION:
Unremarkable CT KUB.

Plain CT scan does not exclude any underlying lesion that needs contrast enhanced protocol.
