Background
As needs change in the organizations, the leadership and internal dynamics must be reviewed.
The concept of organization behavior is important as it provides insights into organizations’
challenges and opportunities. Although organization behavior varies from one organization to
another, its usefulness is universal. (Ayiekoh, 2013)
Introduction
It’s very important for businesses and managers to take note of how they affect organizational
behavior in their teams and what kinds of challenges and opportunities arise. Rigid job
descriptions no longer work in many businesses since employees often take on several roles and
have to constantly learn new skills to keep up with the changing pace of business. (Ahmad,
2019)

Diversity at Work
Challenge: The challenge facing managers is how to manage diversity in a way that will
positively impact the organization. Managers have to move away from treating everyone alike
while at the same time valuing every individual employee’s contribution to the growth of the
organization so as to maintain its valuable employees.
Opportunity: There is an opportunity for employees to embrace diversity and listen and respond
positively to other people's views in order to promote a wider range of ideas.
Ethical Behavior
Challenge: The challenge for managers is to promote an ethical organizational behavior and
culture such that employees will not put their individual interests ahead of organizational
interests.
Opportunity: The organization should confront to the unsaid rules, conducting codes and other
features to keep the value of the individual, team and the organization high. The well- being of
the individuals and the organization is dependent on each other. (The challenges and problems
addressed by organizational behavior, 2018)
Globalization Response
Challenge: Managers have the challenge of understanding the organizational behavior of the
personnel in the company's subsidiary organizations. The global manager uses this information
to improve those subsidiaries' organizational behavior to tally with the overall organizational
culture of the company.
Opportunity: Globalization provides scope for employees to understand other cultures and the
way that different people around the world approach work.
