CRITERIA Points
A. CONTENTS (30 points)
1. The material arouses interest of target learners and content is suitable to
the learners’ level of development. --- 5 points
2. The material contributes to the achievement of specific objectives of the
learning area and grade level for which it is intended. --- 5 points
3. The material provides for the development of higher cognitive skills such
as critical thinking, creativity, learning by doing, inquiry, problem solving,
and 21st Century Skills. --- 5 points
4. The material is free of ideological, cultural, religious, racial, gender biases
and prejudices. --- 5 points
5. The material enhances the development of desirable values and traits such
as creativity, curiosity, flexibility, adaptability, social and cross-cultural
skills, leadership, responsibility, initiative, self-direction, productivity,
accountability and other positive traits. --- 5 points
6. Adequate warning/cautionary notes are provided in topics and activities
where safety and health are of concern. --- 5 points
B. FORMAT AND DESIGN (20 points)
