CHAPTER I
Importance of Practicum
Importance of practicum for every student is to apply all their learnings in the four corner of their
classrooms in real life after their graduation. It gives them an opportunity to experience to go the
office and go in the office and do office work depends on the task given by the company they
assign.
We learned different kind of the job that will enhance our ability knowledge by the help and
guidance of other people who gave knowledge in the field of office. We developed our
communication skills by socialized to other people especially with the professionals. OJT
experience a guided on our first day at work, especially if your OJT and current work are related.
We can use our experience and observation as an OJT to our current job if you still have issues on
adjustment. OJT opened our minds in the different works in the government and non-government
offices. It developed as to be a good employee someday. To be a good person, honest and
patiently to the tasks given to us, to give importance to the time
Objective of Practicum
1. If you will get high evaluation grade, your employer might hire you when you graduate
2. Your background OJT is very important when applying for a job. Oftentimes, employers
will ask you the relevance of your training to your course and the position you are
applying for.
3. Some companies will give you monthly allowance if you are doing well in your task
4. OJT will be your training ground. If you still have no idea on what is meant to be a
worker, OJT will give a hint of career realities.
5. Your OJT Superior my recommended your skills to other companies whom he knows.
6. It will give you a sense of confidence that you can use when applying for a job after

1. Difficulty in understanding some people about their matters.

To solve the identified problems our seniors thought us and explained

June 26, 2017, when we went to the PGO SUB-OFFICE I was nervous but I’m
happy because we had to be an OJT. We waited in time to experience a feeling how to
work and we are happy because we are accepted in our OJT. June 27 when we started to
O.J.T Fourth Year College students are required to take On-The-Job training a
preparation for working I am interning at Provincial Government of Occidental Mindoro
San Jose Sub-Office. On my first day I was very nervous on what will happen while I’m
working there, But the employee and co-ojt’s I’ve worked with made it at ease and
enjoyable. I have experience a lot of entertaining because I assign in encoding file,
authenticating photocopies, scanning files and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of
the office. And I also reformat a computer. I can say that they thought me a lot. Under
their supervision I’ve learned bunch of things and developed character at workplace.
