The key takeaways are that OJT provides students experience in their field of study and allows them to apply what they've learned. It also benefits companies by providing extra manpower at a lower cost. Students are required to complete 50 hours each in architecture/furniture design and 100 hours in interior design to gain experience in different aspects of the field.

OJT allows students to apply the lessons learned in school and gain relevant knowledge and skills through actual work experience. It helps students acquire new skills and makes the workplace a new learning venue. For companies, OJT provides additional labor at a lower cost than regular employees.

Students are required to complete 50 hours each for the Architecture and Furniture Design Company or department and one hundred (100) hours for Interior Design. This exposes them to different departments and helps them learn and experience different aspects of being an Interior Designer.

On-the-Job Training or OJT is a method which schools give their students to apply the lessons learned from the school. It aids the students to acquire relevant knowledge and skills through the actual experience in working in the field of their profession. Thus, making the workplace and the office a new venue of learning for the student.

On the companies side, OJT program provides additional manpower with lesser labor cost than a regular employee. Trainees are eager to learn the ropes of the business so cooperation is not a question. Employers can make use of the OJT program as a method in recruiting new employees since the mentor had witnessed the trainees performance, behavior and attitude progress and growth.

As for the OJT program for the Interior Design course, the students would be trained by one, two, or three companies in three different categories of the program. Students are required to complete fifty (50) hours each for the Architecture and Furniture Design Company or department and one hundred (100) hours for Interior Design.

With these different departments, the students are expected to learns and experience the life of an Interior Designer in the field.
