Motivation:
Now, before we begin our discussion, we’ll watch a
short film story title “The Turtle and the Rabbit”.
Discussion:
A narrative is a type of literary text that tells a story. It
presents a series of events which can either be true or
fictitious. Nonfiction narratives include biography,
autobiography, memoir, diary, etc. Fiction narratives
may be picture books, cartoons, mystery, fantasy,
adventure, science fiction, historical fiction, fairy
tales, myths, legends, fables, or plays.
IV. Application:
Get a 1 whole sheet of paper. In each story, pick one of the three and read, after reading
it, use the graphic organizer below and fill out the elements of a narrative text.
