GUIDING PRINCIPLES
The culture-based integration serves as to identify baloto particular in Paranas as
cultural icons
Contextualization is the educational process of relating the curriculum to a particular
setting, situation or area of application to make the competences relevant, meaningful
and useful to all learners
II. CONTENT

C. Time Duration : 3 hours
D. Cultural Icon : Baloto
IV. PROCEDURE
There are many ways we can go to different places by water and air.
Recognize letter Ww and its sound and give words that begin with /w/
Competencies:
Identify the sounds of letters orally given (LLKPA-Ig-I)
Identify several words that begin with the same sound as the spoken word (LLKPA-Ig-
7)
Identify the letters of the alphabet (mother tongue),
orthography (LLKAK-IH-3)
Objects that begin with a particular letter of the alphabet (LLKV-00-5)
Match the letter sound to its letter forms (LLKAKA-Ih-5)
Name objects that begin with a particular letter of the alphabet (LLKV-005)
Procedure:
(Independent activities)
“Box Vehicles”
Competencies
Paglikha ng mga modelo ng pangkaraniwang bagay sa paligid (KPKPM)-00-1.6)
Nakaguguhit, nakapagpipinta at nakapagkukulay ng iba’t-ibang bagay o gawain
(SKMP-00-2)
Materials: big box (enough for children to ride in), paint, paint brush, markers
Procedure:
1. Prepare the materials. Open the top side of the box. Draw an outline water or
air vehicles which will serve as guide for the learner to print on.
2. Prepare the area by scattering newspapers on the floor or on the table.
3. Let the learners paint the box, reminding them to follow the lines.
The teacher reminds the learner about the time left in Work Period Time I
around 15 minutes before meeting time 2.After 10 minutes, the teachers tells the
learners to start packing away the materials they used and be ready for meeting 2. A
transition song as account down may be used.
E. Supervised Recess(15minutes)
