Profile Statement
Dr. Emma J. Rose’s research is motivated by a commitment to designing for digital inclusion. She uses participatory
design and research techniques that empower users to conceptualize solutions for community based problems. Her
current research is investigating the design of social robots to help measure and intervene in teen stress.
