PRELIMINARIES
Every second year students need to take an internship before going to

higher year level. It is part of the Laguna University curriculum for Bachelor of
Science in Computer Science students to undergo On-the-job training (OJT).
It is done to enhance the student skills and broaden their experience in order
for them to be ready for the real world. This would be a great experience for
the students who will take internship. The students knowledge will be more
applicable when they have their own job. This training will enhance the skills
and abilities of the students that would probably add to his/her knowledge.

BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH
The trainee, MR.JOSE LOUIE A. RADA was born at Dayap,Calauan Laguna

on August 06, 1997. He is the Son of MR. BALTAZAR RADA acarpenter
and MRS. MARIA TERESSA RADA a house wife.
The trainee finished his elementary education at Dayap Elementary

School in Calauan, Laguna. He finised his high school education at Dayap
National High School in Calauan, Laguna. At the present the trainee studying
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at LAGUNA UNIVERSITY, LAGUNA
SPORTS COMPLEX, BRGY. BUBUKAL STA. CRUZ LAGUNA.
The training and experience gained in the OJT will help his become ready
for the challenges of the industry. The trainee believes that she will finish this
course because of his faith. The trainee also thankful to Almighty GOD and his
family, who are very supportive, helping and sacrificing for his to have
successful career.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
First, I would like to thanks to our God who gave me strength

in my everyday life, for guiding me, and for all the blessings he gave that
helps me to do my duty as part of my Internship.
I would like to thanks also to those persons behind of being

part in Internship in M.I.S.O in Municipality of Sta.Cruz Laguna and for all
those insights that I gained.
Thank you very much to my Professor Mrs.Jocelle A. Banocnoc for your

guidance and for helping me to complete my requirements , and also
thank you for your advice.
To my parents, who are very supportive to me, and also for their
love, and understanding during my tiring days that I can’t help them in the
chores.
To the M.I.S.O family, thank you for your warmestgratitude and for
given me experience in having my practicum in your company For given
me a chance to be part of your Internship trainee, and for developing my
skills and confidence.
I. TRAINING EXPERIENCE
On the first day of the training, the trainee was introduced to

Municipality Employees and staffs. The trainee oriented about what he will do in
the company as their ojt and test the trainee if he can do good. The next day,
the trainee have a task to create his class scheduled using MS Excel. In Two
days the trainee was Helping in ANILAG FESTIVAL .The trainee also talk to
different types of people by keeping transaction talks in ANILAG FESTIVAL on
(PhotoBoot).
From the trainee experience during the training, the trainee learned that
not only the skills are needed for the task/job but also the traits. The trainee
must possess in order to be a good employee. The trainee learned to be
punctual in everything the trainee do. The trinee also learned the value of
politeness by simply greeting my officemates. The trainee also appreciated the
value of patience in dealing with other people. And the trainee realized that
people vary so the trainee must be flexible in order to serve them well.
II. INSIGHTS
Having ojt Management Information System Office ( M.I.S.O) is really good.
With this OJT the trinee learned a things such as;
 Respect people who work inside and outside of the Office
 Greet everyone in the office
 Go to training on time
III. SUMMARY
This practicum was full of unforgettable memories. The trainee never

knew that he can be more responsible when it comes to those given tasks. This
would help the trainee to be ready for her career in the near future.The trainee
gained more knowledge about any computer related things. The trainee also
trained his skills well. This would help to the trainees’ future job.
IV. RECOMMENDATION
A. TO THE BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE STUDENTS
To the students who will do their practicum; be active, enthusiastic,

motivated, and energetic. Work hard and be pro-active. Do not wait for
somebody to tell you what to do. Try to plan your time and what you expect from
Practicum week by week. Keep a daily/weekly record of the progress of your
training.
B. TO THE PRACTICUM / INTERNSHIP
The trainee wants to recommend to the LU-MISO that they should accept
more applicants so that many students have an opportunity to get a great training
under them. It will be a great help.
C. TO THE CURRICULUM
Practicum is necessary in our curriculum. The trainee will have a better

understanding on the course they have taken and what to expect after
graduation. In the trainee’s opinion, a onetime practicum is better than taking it
twice. It is better to merge the 120 hours Practicum/Internship of Second Year
BSCS students with the 160 Hours Practicum/Inertnship Training Program of
the Third Year BSCS students for the students not to take the training twice and
should be offered during Summer.

A. Duties and Responsibilities
As a trainee or an intern, I have lots of duties or responsibilities to do on my

assigned department. I was able to help the regular employee especially my
supervisor, through these following;
