how to make an equation using these numbers.

Students will have papers with equation on it, they should count the numbers and put the flashcards
according to the numbers.

Students will have a coloured paper, they will draw their hand and cut the paper to use it for counting.

Assessment

To assess their knowledge, I’m going to assess them while they’re doing the activities, I will do a checklist to check
their understanding of the lesson.
Reflection

In this math lesson, I taught them how to create and how to solve equations using numbers from 1
to 10. Students were engaged with the activities and the lesson, they were happy with making
hands to help them counting and solving equations. I did three different activities for them
according to student’s levels, but because they were mixed abilities in the groups so, I started with
the low activities then the medium and in the end the high. The activities were, Students will have
papers with equation on it, they should count the numbers and put the flashcards according to the
numbers for low level students, Students will have a coloured paper, they will draw their hand
and cut the paper to use it for counting. After that, they will have equation that they should solve
using these hands for medium level students and for the high level, they will have to make
equation using flashcards.

What goes well in the lesson is, students understood the lesson well, they finished the activities in
the right time and I benefits from having mixed groups abilities because, I liked that they were
helping each other with doing the activities and they were explaining for each other. Moreover, I
gave them some rules before starting the lessons such as, raise your hand, respect other and
lesson to the teacher, these rules helped me with making the lesson easier for me. What didn’t go
well in the lesson was, cutting the hands took a lot of time, what I should do is, creating with them
day before so it will not take that much time.
