Give a brief description of the technology/resource.

It is an online web browser used for recording video and audio. You can record over your web browser in order to demonstrate a

INTEGRATION/IMPLEMENTATION IDEA - SCREENCASTING

How might you use this resource to promote student learning? Describe who will be doing the screencasting – you or your
students, and what purpose it will serve.

I would use this resource to make my Power Point lectures reachable online for students who may have missed class on that day,
or may have just missed/forgot a certain part of the lecture/presentation. Students could also utilize the website to submit online
assignments where they could record their work done online and add their own voice when needed.

VALUE-ADDED EXPLANATION
 Given the information above, how would the technology integration you described, using the selected resource? (On the
“Value-Added Rating Scale” above)
 Explain your rating based on the indicators on the rubric.

I would give it a value rating of 2 just because I do not believe that the web site could be used in all subject areas or grade levels. I
believe this device could be very helpful in Math classes or Language Arts. The site could help enhance the learning experiences in
these classes while not detracting too much from the content. The students most likely used the site a little bit but mostly by the
teacher.
