CANTILEVER BRACKETS FOR DI PIPES
These brackets are adopted as beam welded to steel plate and anchored to concrete wall
using postdrilled HILTI anchor bolts.
The worst case is taken in to consideration and the designed details are applicable for the
same supports with DI pipes with less diameters and less distance from wall.
maximum pipe dimeters are: 100 mm and 200 mmm

maximum distance from the wall for 100 mm DI pipe: 900 mm
maximum distance from the wall for 200 mm DI pipe: 450 mm

8.0 THE CHECK OF THE ANCHORING SYSTEM
The adopted is post drilled HILTI anchored system using galvanized HILTI bolts prior to
water's environment.
Due to water's environment the designed anchored system is not using grouting, the plate
will be directly tighten to the concrete wall. All other steel items, susch as beam, clamp and
connection bolts will be hot deep galvanized.
The calculations are based on maximum reaction forces assuming all types of loads:
dead load:
live load,
seismic load horizontal perpendicular,
seismic load horizontal longitudinal
Fx= 1.256 kN Mx= 0.595 kNm

Fy= 3.881 kN My= 0 kNm
Fz= 0.496 kN Mz= 1.507 kNm
