    Professional Development Plan for Teachers

    Name: Mahra Bahkeet Mohammed- MST: _ MCT: Ms. Khadeja Ms. Antoinette
    School: Ajman Academic School - Semester 4 - Date: 2017-10-8
    Rationale/Reflection of previous practice: During last semester, MST and MCT commented on my
    teaching and they asked me to work on two different areas. The first area of developments was involve
    all the students (Girls and Boys) in activities because when I did a lesson about summer and winter
    seasons, I divided the girls and boys in different groups. The girls were working in the activities and the
    boys were playing and waiting for their turn to start working on the activity. So, my MCT did not liked
    that because the class time finish and the boys did not work on activity. The second area was lesson
    planning. MST wanted me to plan more different activities that make the children interest because,
    when I did a lesson about the family they were not exited to draw only and some of them were not able
    to draw and they did not understand the story.

    So, that why I worked hard developing these two areas. I started asking my friends about involving the
    students and they advised me that involving the students will be useful to save the class time and it will
    help me to engage them all at the same time. Next time I will work on this point to improve my teaching.
    For the second area, which is lesson planning, I asked MST to explain for me the most important things

    that I should think about before I plan for the lesson. I will follow her steps to be more flexible in
    planning the lessons.
