MoMU Day
NEW SPONSORS!!
and more!
May was a month packed with events, and the first of them was a free
migration and internships seminar on Tuesday, 6th May, organised by
our sponsors YnJ and Navitas. Held during our lunch break at
Latham Theatre in the Redmond Barry Building, the turnout was great,
and thanks to the experienced speakers, the session was informative and beneficial for
everyone. They shared on the best way to get a TR/PR, and also provided tips on how to gain an
internship while still studying at university.
If you missed out on the event, or would like to find out more on the services offered by YnJ and
Navitas, you can check out their websites here and here respectively.

Darts Competition @ iDarts Hive
Two days later on Thursday, 8th May, a
friendly darts competition was held at
iDarts Hive in QV. !
Complimentary drinks were provided to the
many people that turned up to the event,
and after short lessons were conducted by
the friendly staff, the competition was a go.
Everyone was split into three groups and
competed against each other by playing
count-up (highest score wins). The winner
went home with a set of darts and pattern
darts live cards.!
We would like to thank our lovely sponsors at iDarts for providing us with the prizes and free
drinks!

Board Games @ UH
Every week, seasoned and amateur Momuians alike came to sweat it out, making new
friends and getting fit at the same time. Our
last outing for the semester was held on 30th
May, but due to the overwhelming response
received week to week, well be sure to bring
it back again next semester!
Rowing x MoMU
This was probably the most anticipated event of the month. We had such great response that a
second session had to be opened to cater for demand!
Over the weekend of 17-18th May, a rowing event was organised and we were taught how to
row like a pro at Docklands. The event was free for MoMU members. The lessons were provided
by the Chinese Youth Society of Melbourne, and it was a first time experience for most of us.
It was a beautiful sunny weekend and despite going home with worn out muscles, we are sure
that everyone had an awesome time. Thanks to everyone for coming!

MoMU Day
What better way to finish an amazing month than
with MoMU Day!
!
This month, MoMU Day was held on Wednesday,
28th May, instead of the usual Thursdays. It was
arguably the best MoMU Day weve had in awhile, as
80 packs of donburi from Egg Sake Bistro were
given out free to our members.
Upon completion of a simple task, which was to
follow our Twitter and Instagram pages and post
something with the hashtag #momu, members received their free lunch. Needless to say, news
spread fast and everything was given away in only half an hour!
For those who managed to get a free meal, we hope it made your day better! For those who
missed out, do not worry as MoMU Day will be back next semester at the end of every month!
