WELCOME MR DUNBAR! A big congratulations and welcome to the newest addition of our Bowling Park team, Mr Dunbar, who was successfully appointed as our new caretaker to work alongside Mr Crowther. We hope you enjoy your time with us and wish you the best of luck.
YEAR 6 ROBINWOOD TRIP Our Year 6 children got back from their fantastic trip to Robinwood on Wednesday. They had a brilliant time climbing, canoeing and enjoying the zip -wire, trapeze and giant swing! The trip was a great opportunity for the children to develop their team building skills, whilst increasing their confidence ahead of next years SATs. YEAR 6 CAREERS EVENT Parents and carers of Year 6 children are invited to attend a special careers event on Tues 17th December. There will be all kinds of stalls including representatives from the council, police and manual trades who will be on-hand to give out careers advice to both children and parents. This is a great opportunity to come along and get more information about your childrens and your own futures. YEAR 5 VICTORIAN EXHIBITION EVENT PICKING UP AFTER CLUBS Please can all parents and carers be reminded that children must be picked up on time at the end of after school clubs. Clubs finish at either 4.00pm or 4.15pm, and it is very important that children are picked up at the correct time. Thank you.
After a term of hard work, Year 5 hosted a special Victorian Exhibition this week to celebrate the end of their topic. Children displayed their super writing and sold buns I look forward to seeing everyone on to visiting parents. Everyone thoroughly the 6th January 2014, when we return enjoyed the event and we were really glad to school. to see so many parents visiting the stalls! Stuart Herrington, Principal.
