The Project Management Institute (PMI) is a not-for-profit professional organization for the project management profession with the purpose of advancing project management. Its basically a professional organization focuses upon project management that was established in 1969. Its headquarter is in Newtown square Pennsylvania USA. Mark A. Langley is its president and CEO as well. Its a worldwide operational organization. Its motto is building professionalism in project management.

PROJECT INTEGRATION MANAGEMENT This process coordinates the other areas to work together throughout the project. To have a collaboration in each step of the project. PROJECT SCOPE MANAGEMENT This is a set of processes used to ensure that the project includes all of the requirements and no new requirements are added in a way that could harm the project. Basically managers forecast in this step to have a broader image of project. TIME MANAGEMENT It is a very crucial process in Project Management. As we call tie is money in business so this step involves processes to ensure that the project is completed on schedule. COST MANAGEMENT Every step is vital for completion of a project but some are way important cost management is one of them involves processes to ensure that the project is completed on budget because cost is an important part of profit. So it is very important for the profitability of any project. QUALITY MANAGEMENT It ensures that the project meets its requirements, or does what it is expected to do. HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT It includes all of the processes used to develop, manage and put the project team together. Their job descriptions and specifications. And using that specific team efficiently and effectively.

COMMUNICATION MANAGEMENT This step determines what information is needed, how that information will be sent and managed, and how project performance will be reported. RISK MANAGEMENT Risk management involves identifying, managing and controlling risk of a project. It helps any project manager in minimizing upcoming risks during project and optimization of the project.

PROCUREMENT MANAGEMENT It is the group of processes used to acquire the materials and services needed to complete the project. It includes all supply chain management of the project. Efficiency and effectiveness of procurement helps in time management of the project. REFERENCES
