LITTLE SAILS

Lessons are a child and parent class where
the parent is in the water with the child for
the entire length of class. One main goal of
this class will be for the child to be comfortable enough in the water with an instructor
to transition to Beginner Sailfish classes.
BEGINNER SAILFISH
11:00AM**, 4:30PM & 5:30PM
Lessons are available for children ages four
and older who are comfortable being in the
water without a parent even if they cannot
yet stand on the bottom of the pool.
Children MUST be comfortable being in the
water without a parent present to participate in this class. There are 3 parts to this
level. Skills covered will include glides,
floats, free style and back stroke.
**11AM Platform only. Max 5 students.
Instructor in water with kids ages 4 and 5.
SAILFISH IN TRAINING
5:30PM
Sailfish in Training lessons are our
upper level lessons. There are 3-4
parts to this level, depending on each
students starting skills. The goal of
this group of lessons is that each
graduate would feel
confident enough to join the Sailfish
swim team if they would like to do so.
Skills covered will include
endurance, diving, breast stroke and
butterfly and stroke refinement.

Wednesday mornings 9AM-10AM & Tuesday evenings 5PM-5:30PM
Platform and swim toys will be available for parent-supervised play.
Pre-Requisites -100yds freestyle with rotary breathing without stopping & 50yds backstroke without stopping.

Class Time: 2 hour lecture & 8 hours volunteering with swim lessons
Class will cover all the basics of how to teach Swim Lessons. Participants who complete the course successfully
will be considered first for future instructors.
