- Move to your spelling groups, have list ready just in case


- Larger group are to stay with me, and ask Joanne to take the smaller group that
usually go with David
- When students are on floor, remind them that they are to line up their pages,
and include todays date and which unit were doing.
- complete silence. If students need me to repeat the word, raise their hand.
Remember to give students a sentence
- At the end of the test, students are to swap books with someone else. Write up
the words on the board so students can correct their work.
- Have the homework sheets printed out for students and then go through the
sound theyve got for the week, and the first couple of questions
- then have discussion with students about what techniques they used last week
and what they plan to do this week to improve their spelling. Write some of the
ideas up on the board and have students write this in read pencil above their
homework sheet.

9:45am- students need to start packing up and moving back to their


classrooms.
Assessment: students will mark each others work. This will then allow them to
assess how much work theyll need to do during the week to improve their
score. End of the week will indicate whether their strategy helped them or not.

9:50am to 10:45am (55 mins)

Activity no.3: Laptops for reading eggs if this isnt available, have spelling list
game ready (when students go to get laptops, make sure they go around and
knock on the door)

Assessment: through observation, have a look at how students are


cooperating or whether or not students are staying on task etc.

11:15am- think about getting students ready to go back to class

Joanne if there are any announcements

Assessment: were students able to identify what personal space was? Could
they contribute to discussion or planning? Observe students and listen to what
they have to say.
