it was amazing

I’m not a big fan of stories about fallen angels. Case in point, I have yet to read the Fallen series by Lauren Kate or the angel stories by Nalini Singh and Keri Arthur. I keep meaning to try it but every time I think of fallen angels, I’m just bleh. No excitement or anticipation at all.

Cynthia Eden changed all that.

Holy Mother of God. She changed the whole fallen angel myth with her superb storyline. Her plots are excellent. Something’s always happening. Twists you wouldn’t expect blow up in your face.

Sammael is one of the baddest of the baddest, an angel of death ruling his little corner of earth with a fierce mess-with-me-at-your-peril attitude. He’s awesome. I loved that he’s an anti-hero and he had no plans of changing. He was bad and he was cool with it. He accepted who he was and he didn’t give a damn what anyone else thought.

Seline was his perfect match. She was audacious and brave and yet vulnerable at the same time. She was a seductress and yet she had a kind heart. She wanted to do the right thing. I found her very likeable. I loved the twist in the story concerning the hellhound.

This was another great story from Cynthia Eden, with an action-packed plotline and secrets that keep you turning the page.
