      Great books, lots of ups and downs great mixture of different worlds, nice love story mixed in.

      While I enjoyed the whole series, Ray can be very annoying. Men are so stupid at times, thinking they're protecting when all they're doing is hurting the person they love.

      The pacing stalls at time, the tone is melodramatic and even patronizing a good portion of the time. I felt bored, the world didn’t captivate me, and there wasn’t something that had me invested by the time I got to the last book.

      Seems like an interesting story.. but it's missing chapter 3 of book one and, in its placeis a chapter that must be much further in the story. Spoliers. (Update: I really like the series, wishing there were more books. So I increased the rating, but in the title that plays all 5 books together, the first book's chapter 3 is actually book 5's chapter 3.. super spoilers.)
