INTRODUCTION: Private banking is a term for banking, investment and other financial services provided by the banks to private individuals disposing of sizable assets. The term ―private‖ refers to the customer service being rendered on a more personal basis than in mass market retail banking, usually via dedicated bank advisers. An institutions private banking division will provide various services such as Wealth Management, savings, inheritance and tax planning for their clients. A high level form of Private banking (for the especially affluent) is often referred to as Wealth Management. The Partition of India in 1947 had adversely impacted the economies of Punjab and West Bengal, and banking activities had remained paralyzed for months. India's independence marked the end of a regime of the Laissez-faire for the Indian Banking. The Government of India initiated measures to play an active role in the economic life of the nation, and the Industrial policy Resolution adopted by the government in 1948 envisaged a mixed economy. This resulted into greater involvement of the state in different segments of the economy including banking and finance. By 1960 the Indian banking industry had become an important tool to facilitate the development of the Indian economy .At the same time; it has emerged as a large employer in the state. In 1990 the then Narasimha Rao Government embarked on a policy of liberalization and gave licenses to a small number of Private banks, which came to be known as New Generation tech-savvy banks, which included banks such as UTI bank, ICICI bank and HDFC bank. This move along with the rapid growth in the economy, kick-started the banking sector in India, which has seen rapid growth with the strong contribution from all the three sectors of banks namely, government banks, private banks and foreign banks.

Gone are the days when banks had stipulated working hours. Banking services were limited in number and to avail these services, customer had to visit the branch of the concerned bank. Traditional banking system had monopolistic characteristics. There were only government banks and then in the year 1969, there was nationalization of almost all major banks in India. There were around 13 private banks operating in India even prior to the year 1968. The major changes started emerging with the establishment of ICICI Bank Limited in private sector in 1994. There are 21 private banks and 12 public sector banks operating in our country, as on date, along with one state owned payments bank. This banking network provides a number of banking and financial services but then there are other financial institutions which are also engaged in providing n number of services to the customers. Computerization in banking industry set in early 90s and since then banking and financial services sector has envisaged complete digital revolution. Banking and financial services industry has under gone a metamorphosis since then. Technology in banking and financial services sector has totally changed the face of this industry. Technology has invaded in almost all operational procedures of banking and financial services industry may it be receiving a small request or delivering a specific service. Technology has entered into almost all the operational spheres of banking and financial services industry. Technology has also helped this industry to offer new services to its customers. It is not that technology has contributed positively only to this industry but it has disadvantages as well. In the following paragraphs, the role of technology in banking and financial services and advantages and disadvantages of technology in this sector are discussed.

The present study investigates the credit risk management towards the financial performance of private banks. Financial performance is an essential key element of the banks and survives in that field effectively. The considered factors in credit risk management and financial performance such as capital adequacy, asset quality, management quality, earnings, and liquidity. In this research, 482 samples were drawn by using a simple random sampling technique and analyzed. The outcome was the highest correlation is exists between asset quality and liquidity. It showed that there is a significant correlation is available between these variables. Asset quality and management quality have a positive relationship with financial performance. The suggestion was the future researcher may focus on some other factors on financial performance in various sectors

From the past few decades the importance of manpower in the organization has
increased. Human Resource is treated as the most important asset. Organizations, in the changing
scenario, understand that the key to increase productivity is to keep the workers happy. As, a
direct relationship has been observed between productivity and job satisfaction, the organizations
are not leaving any chance to ensure employee job satisfaction in the organizations. Job
satisfaction can be described as a positive feeling towards one‘s job. When an employee
perceives him/her as satisfied from the job, it indicates that he/she values the job and feels
positive about it. Increasing employee job satisfaction in the organization has been considered as
an important technique to motivate them to work harder. Banks are no exception in this regards.

Internet banking is based on digital age and create the opportunity for the clients. All the services which are providing by the bank to their customers through the internet. They make the world very easy and effective and also save their times, no. of facilities are using by the customers Like NEFT, RTGS, Fund transfer, Mobile recharge and bill payments at anytime. This study is based on secondary data. The main purpose of this study is to analyze the level of customer satisfaction through the internet banking by private sector banks.

In response to financial market turmoil, trading activities increased significantly, peaking in mid-March 2020: the average weekly trading volumes of Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index, for instance, were up almost 80%, compared with the same period in the previous year. As a result, leading wealth managers reported strong Q1 2020 results (e.g., operating income: UBS Global Wealth Management +14%, Credit Suisse International Wealth Management +6%). However, going forward, wealth managers will be facing lower valuations of client portfolios, for many the primary driver of fee income.

Based on over 25 conversations with industry leaders in the APAC region, our study found that the wealth management business model has proved its resilience. However, we noted clear differences in the way APAC firms handled the crisis. Most wealth managers applied a somewhat traditional approach, many still partially working from the office and relying on conventional communication technologies. Investment managers, FinTechs and digital leaders, on the other hand, mostly enabled location independent ways of working through digital tools granting secure remote access for employees.

In a post-crisis ‘next normal’, new and reenforced client demands and priorities will emerge, with advisory excellence, the availability of hedging strategies, as well as the confidence in the operational resilience of a wealth manager becoming important factors. To enjoy a competitive advantage in a 'next normal', a more digitally enabled front office will be a key requirement. Most prioritize digitalization around client onboarding, while leaders also digitally support the traditional human elements of the client life cycle: prospecting and client advisory. In the long run, wealth managers will benefit significantly from efficiencies from increased digitalization – contributing to a much needed increase in profitability.

Overall, the global COVID-19 pandemic has not fundamentally altered the industry's strategic imperatives, but will further accelerate the difference between winning wealth managers that explore innovative edge business models, increase their operational agility and engage digitally with their clients – and other firms with a more reactive approach that may struggle increasingly in a wealth management industry that is bound to be even more competitive in a ‘next normal’.

Drawing on theory and research, the mediating roles of trust in leader and ethical climate on the relations between ethical leadership, organisational justice, and turnover intention are examined with structural equation modelling. Using 571 private and 535 public bank employees, it is found that turnover intention can be decreased by increasing trust in leader and ethical climate in the environment. In addition, the full mediations of trust in leader and ethical climate are supported in the relations between ethical leadership and turnover. However, trust in leader and ethical climate are found to have partial mediating effects between distributive justice and turnover and it is also found that procedural justice does not have an effect on turnover intention. Moreover, invariance tests have identified both model and structural invariance indicating equivalence across both private and public bank samples.

Money is laundered today by moving it from weak jurisdictions such as India to the strong, especially the United Kingdom and the United States.  The coercion in the original extraction of surplus is furthered by coercion in that great  cross border concealment of capital; and by the silence of the media and community of scholars.

Fundamental questions will be addressed:

    Why should clients continue to deposit their assets in a Swiss bank?What services will Swiss banks provide in the future (what will be their “Unique Selling Proposition”)?
    Will they still be profitable and will their services still be affordable?
    As a client or independent relationship manager, what questions should one ask a bank in order to assess their capability to deal with the new challenges?

Earnings management is an alternative action to achieve their goals, although this action will produce financial reports that can mislead the reader, in fact, many banks in Indonesia do this practice. This study attempts to examine the effect of factors that influence earnings management in conventional Indonesian banks. The variables in this study are credit risk, capital adequacy ratio (CAR), size, managerial ownership and institutional ownership as independent variables and earnings management variables as dependent variables. The population in this study is a conventional private bank in Indonesia. This study uses a purposive sampling technique. The criteria for objects that can be used as samples in this study were obtained by 55 private banks with the period under study from 2015-2017. The number of units of analysis of this study was 141 units. The analysis technique used in this study is multiple regression analysis to find the effect of managerial ownership, institutional ownership, credit risk, capital adequacy ratio (CAR), and size factors on earnings management in conventional private banks in Indonesia. This study found that factors, size of banking, and CAR had a positive and significant effect on earning management of conventional private banks in Indonesia. Management ownership factors have a negative and significant effect on earnings management. While Institutional ownership factors have no significant effect on earnings management. This study uses the Jones model in measuring earnings management. In the future it will be better if all models that can measure earnings management are used so that the model can be compared more accurately and more in accordance with the factors we will examine.

Örgüt çalışanlarının işe ve örgüte olan bağlılıkları örgütsel amaç ve hedeflerin gerçekleştirilmesinde büyük rol oynadığı için örgütsel bağlılık konusu, örgüt yöneticileri ve araştırmacılar açısından önem arz etmektedir. Çalışanların örgüte olan bağlılıklarını etkileyen faktörlerin başında örgütsel adalet algısı gelmektedir. Bu çalışmada örgütsel adaletin örgütsel bağlılık üzerindeki etkisi incelenmektedir. Çalışmada amaç, bankalarda görev yapan çalışanların örgütsel adalet algılarını ve bu algılamaların örgütsel bağlılıkları üzerindeki etkisini ortaya koymaktır. Amaç kapsamında Düzce il merkezinde faaliyet gösteren kamu bankalarında ve özel bankalarda görev yapan 220 çalışan üzerinde ampirik bir çalışma yapılmıştır. Veriler anket yöntemi kullanılarak toplanmış ve verilerin analizi için SPSS 23 veri analiz programı kullanılmıştır. Örgütsel adalet ile örgütsel bağlılık ilişkisini ölçmeye yönelik hipotezler oluşturulmuş ve hipotezlerin sınanması için korelasyon ve regresyon analizi uygulanmıştır. Yapılan analizlerde örgütsel adaletin örgütsel bağlılığı pozitif yönde etkilediği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Banka çalışanlarının örgütsel adalet algılarının duygusal ve normatif bağlılıklarını pozitif yönde etkilediği görülmüştür. Ayrıca banka çalışanlarının adalet algıları ile devam bağlılıkları arasında bir ilişkinin bulunmadığı saptanmıştır.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between job stress, turnover intention, and the moderating roles of motivation for child care work. The subjects were 238 childcare teachers who were worked at childcare centers in Seoul. Questionnaires were used to rate job stress, turnover intention, and the motivation for child care work of teachers. The collected data were mainly analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Duncan test, Pearson's correlation and the multiple regression analysis. The main results of this study were as follows. First, there were differences in turnover intention according to individual characteristics such as career at the current childcare center and total career. Second, job stress was positively correlated with turnover intention, and negatively correlated with active motivation and material motivation. And turnover intention was negatively correlated with active motivation and material motivation. Third, a moderator effect of the active motivation was found in the relationship between the job stress and the turnover intention. Especially the active motivation is suggested to reduce the negative results of job stress and turnover intention. Therefore, the results indicate the importance of the active motivation which is considered as an aptitude, interest, affection for children and self realization when childcare teachers make a decision to enter the childcare work profession.

Unlike the traditional state-based approach of public international law, international humanitarian law, which is applicable in times of armed conflict, places clear and binding legal obligations on non-state actors, and thus also multinational corporations. As a result, this law, as well as international criminal law, can be a foundation for the international responsibility of multinational corporations. This postulate has been accepted since the Nuremberg trials, which for the first time dismissed the principle of societas delinquere non potest and recognized the role of corporations in armed conflict. Despite the proliferation of soft law initiatives relating to corporate social responsibility, it is clear that these are insufficient as they fail to take into account situations of armed conflict. The author is studying the option of engaging the responsibility of multinational corporations before the criminal mechanisms, including before the International Criminal Court (with the amendment of the Rome Statute). The author is exploring the most suitable opportunity before various institutions specialized either in human rights or international economic law. The author completes the study with a consideration of the documentation of corporate crimes, either through official investigations or by those conducted by civil society and People’s tribunals. The author concludes that the path of international criminal procedure is the most appropriate for the implementation of the responsibility of multinational corporations for their participation in international crimes without excluding other existing competent mechanisms that may constitute complementary proceedings.

ABSTRACT How should wealth managers and private bankers find and serve the wealthy – particularly in developing countries? Several banks and consulting firms provide market sizing estimates for the number of high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals. However, it is still an open question whether financial management services actually create wealth (or increase the number of wealthy persons). How can financial advisors know if, on a macro-level, their service offerings grow their collective assets under management and increase their prospect numbers? In this paper, we find evidence that advanced wealth management and private banking services might help grow a wirehouse’s book of business in developed, but not developing, markets. If wealth management and private banking follow general trends affecting the broader financial sector, their business also grows wealth in less advanced economies. Such evidence sheds light on the currently ambiguous role that financial development seems to play in creating affluent, high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals.
