To significantly reduce smoking prevalence, treatments must balance reach, efficacy, and cost. The Internet can reach millions of smokers cost-effectively. Many cessation Web sites exist, but few have been evaluated. As a result, the potential impact of the Internet on smoking prevalence remains unknown. The present study reports the results, challenges, and limitations of a preliminary, largescale evaluation of a broadly disseminated smoking cessation Web site used worldwide (QuitNet). Consecutive registrants (N=1,501) were surveyed 3 months after they registered on the Web site to assess 7-day point prevalence abstinence. Results must be interpreted cautiously because this is an uncontrolled study with a 25.6% response rate. Approximately 30% of those surveyed indicated they had already quit smoking at registration. Excluding these participants, an intention-to-treat analysis yielded 7% point prevalence abstinence (for the responders only, abstinence was 30%). A range of plausible cessation outcomes (9.8%-13.1%) among various subgroups is presented to illustrate the strengths and limitations of conducting Web-based evaluations, and the tensions between clinical and dissemination research methods. Process-to-outcome analyses indicated that sustained use of QuitNet, especially the use of social support, was associated with more than three times greater point prevalence abstinence and more than four times greater continuous abstinence. Despite its limitations, the present study provides useful information about the potential efficacy, challenging design and methodological issues, process-to-outcome mechanisms of action, and potential public health impact of Internet-based behavior change programs for smoking cessation.

The purpose of this research is the analysis using meta-analysis of studies in the field of Educational Technology in Turkey and in the field is to demonstrate how to get to that trend. For this purpose, a total of 263 studies were analyzed including 98 theses and 165 articles published between 2010-2018. Purpose sampling method was used when selecting publications. In the research, while selecting articles and Technology used in journals. Publications have been reviewed under 11 criteria. Index, year of publication, research scope, method, education level, sample, number of samples, data collection methods, analysis techniques, and research tendency, research topics in Educational Technology Research in Turkey has revealed. The data is interpreted based on percentage and frequency and the results are shown using the table.

Human Interaction in meetings is one of the famous fields of social dynamics. Meeting is integral part of every organization. In this, meeting outcome is extracted using tree based approach. Meetings contents or conversation are available in forms such as audio, video and text. In this, pattern of meeting is extracted from text document. An interaction is represented in the form of tree. Meeting Output is generated using data mining technique. Firstly the contents are filtered, extracted and steamed. Secondly classification is done into six categories propose, comment, acknowledgement, request Info, ask Opinion, pos Opinion, and neg Opinion. Next the interaction tree is constructed which represent the interaction flow of meeting. Finally the meeting output is generated from interaction tree using frequent pattern mining algorithm. The behavior of person is determined which includes a person who proposed a lot of ideas, a person with positive or negative attitude.

La capacitat de les dades de transformar els nostres paisatges gràfics quotidians té uns precedents que van més enllà del nostre passat més immediat. Tot i que actualment es troben en l’epicentre de la gran majoria de contextos acadèmics, àmbits de negocis, conferències i exposicions, cal remarcar que l’entorn humà ha estat envoltat de dades des de fa segles. La invenció i evolució de les tecnologies informàtiques ha permès que els usos i les capacitats prospectives d’aquestes dades hagi augmentat exponencialment durant els inicis del segle XXI, gràcies també a la capacitat dels dispositius mòbils de generar i assimilar totes les dades que les societats informatitzades són capaces de generar en espais de temps molt breus.
Així doncs, aquest estudi versa sobre la capacitat de representació
gràfica que el Big Data està generant, a través d’infografies i visualitzacions de dades en el nostre paisatge visual quotidià, centrant els esforços en analitzar aquestes dues estructures gràfiques i el paper que desenvolupen i poden arribar a desenvolupar en la societat, a través de reflexions des de la mirada crítica del disseny.

RapidMiner is a software for machine learning, data mining, predictive analytics, and business analytics. The server will record large web log files when user visits the website. Extracting knowledge from such huge data demands for new methods. In this paper, we propose a web usage mining method with RapidMiner. At first, the redundant files in log file are deleted by Matlab and then we mines web log which has been pretreated with RapidMiner, it obtains the custom of different user to visit the website by processing and analyzing log file, and mines unusual rules, and provides the reference for the policy decision and construction of website. Experimental result analysis show that, applying RapidMiner in web usage mining, will obtain frequent model which user visits the website, manage to optimize the website structure and recommends for users.

This scientific paper will cover the process of creating two 3D objects, accompanied by a brief history of 3D printing technology, designing the model in CAD software, saving in appropriate format supported by the 3D printer, features of technology and the printer, materials from which the object can be made and examples where the products created by the 3D printing process can be applied. The printing of models was made by the studio "Xtrude Design & 3D Print" in Skopje. Two 3D models have been printed. A creative model of intertwined 4 triangles in STL file format has been made, which will be transferred and printed with PLA material. The model with the heart on the stand is printed with popular FDM process also with PLA material which is biodegradable and environmentally friendly. Both models are printed on Anet A8 3D printer. Different printing times, layer thicknesses and cost price of producion we have in our research.

IDENTIFICATION OF THE SIGNIFICANT COMPETENCIES IN GRAPHIC DESIGN IN JORDAN: THE MARKET REQUIREMENTS
Graphic design in Jordan is relatively new discipline in Jordan. It was first started with the emergence of academic institutions specializing in the arts commenced in 1980 with the Yarmouk University Arts Department. The level of research in the field of graphic design in Jordan is still poor in terms of quality and quantity. One reason for this is the shortage of scholars. The purpose of this research study is to obtain consensus and validation from a panel of experts in identifying the essential competencies in graphic design. Utilizing a panel of experts from industry representatives, this study will employ written interviews to gather data from Jordanian industry representatives.
The study also aims to obtain the most needed competencies for employment in today’s graphic design industry in Jordan. The findings would assist in re-planning the curricula in Jordanian Universities according to the market requirement.

This case study aims to give you a basic understanding of the website Flickr, and how it was used to teach photography in a blended (face-to-face and online) class. It discusses the benefits of using an online community for submitting, organising and giving feedback on images, and the impact on student learning. Key issues surrounding pedagogic planning and teaching with Flickr that were encountered in this context of the case study will also be examined, highlighting the benefits and potential issues of adopting this approach.

This paper aims at presenting a parametric shape grammar of traditional Suakin houses (Red Sea state, Sudan). This work systematically attempts to generate appropriate plans arrangement that allows required functional relationships between spaces to be satisfied. The topological and geometrical properties of old Suakin houses were analyzed. These properties were originated and incorporated into the traditional Suakin buildings for the past ten centuries. The shape rules, dimensional, geometric and topological patterns of houses in the corpus are used as the generative model for the language of traditional suakin style This paper concludes with a discussion of the creative and generative value of the parametric shape grammars. Moreover, it facilitates the understanding of the formal composition of Suakin old style and the revival of a contemporary Suakin building style.

Tourism has become one of the main fields of economic activity in the World. Its development into a deciding factor for the creation of wealth and employment, as well as its remarkable territorial impact, places the Architecture of tourism as an active discipline in the configuration of this framework.
The main objective of this article is the characterization of the conceptual and statistical framework of tourism economics,
basically oriented to the study of the physical and sociocultural configuration of mass tourism territories. To that end, we have proceeded to the elaboration of an eloquent collection of texts, maps and graphics. This collection, understood as an atlas of tourism economics, develops in different layers of interpretation: the first one related to global data and the second one focused on Spain as the first world power concerning sun & beach tourism.
All in all, the significative impact of tourism in the global economy is proved, emphasizing its role as a main driving force of development, leading external commerce and presenting a practically continuous growth since its beginning.

This chapter represents a step towards the establishment of a new system development approach, called Cooperative Experimental System Development (CESD). CESD seeks to overcome a number of limitations in existing approaches: specification oriented methods usually assume that system design can be based solely on observation and detached reflection; prototyping methods often have a narrow focus on the technical construction of various kinds of prototypes; Participatory Design techniques-including the Scandinavian Cooperative Design (CD) approaches-seldom go beyond the early analysis/design activities of development projects. In contrast, the CESD approach is characterized by its focus on: active user involvement throughout the entire development process; prototyping experiments closely coupled to work-situations and use-scenarios; transforming results from early cooperative analysis/design to targeted object oriented design, specification, and realisation; and design for tailorability. The emerging CESD approach is based on several years of experience in applying cooperative analysis and design techniques in projects developing general, tailorable software products. The CESD approach is, however, not limited to this development context, it may be applied for in-house or contract development as well. In system development, particularly in cooperative and experimental system development, we argue that it is necessary to analytically separate the abstract concerns, e.g. analysis, design, and realisation from concrete activities and techniques. Thus we introduce a CESD model which provides a framework for handling this separation and at the same time makes it possible to identify and discuss the rich variety of relationships among concrete activities and the main concerns.

В 80-х гг. ХХ в. появление персональных компьютеров обозначил ключевой мо- мент в истории визуальных коммуникаций (Макинтош был создан в 1984 году). Компьютеры вызвали интенсивное обновление в сфере оперативных технологий, ус- коряя процесс перехода от рационального подхода к как никогда непредсказуемым путям коммуникаций, все дальше отходя от любых норм и критериев.
Сегодня обращая внимание на определенную «феноменологию», понимаешь, что, несмотря на то, что это абсолютно новое явление, имеет место нечто похожее на чувство déjà vu. То о чем мы говорим, на самом деле, является удивительным сближением цифровых технологий с историческим авангардом. Мои доводы состо- ят в том, что Швейцарская школа (наиболее ярко характеризующая феномен графи- ческого дизайна ХХ века) может быть формально разрушена модернизмом, но только «упорядочивание» изобретений исторического авангарда для того, чтобы создавать гораздо более здравый и линейный тип коммуникаций. В результате это снизило исходную разрушительную и движущую энергию авангарда – ту же силу, что наоборот дает стимул потоку цифровых экспериментов. Трудно сказать зависит ли эта восстановленная жизнеспособность напрямую от прихода компьютеров либо от физиологической реакции против Швейцарской школы независимо от электрон- ных технологий. Одно несомненно: направление, взятое авангардом, находит много интересных применений в компьютерной сфере. В заключении стоит сказать, что сегодняшние дизайнеры способны создавать в цифровом виде то, что художники авангарда в начале ХХ века создавали вручную на холсте и бумаге. Notice board is primary thing in any institution or organization or public utility places like bus stops, railway stations or parks. But sending various notices day to day is a tedious process. This paper deals with advanced notice board. It presents an SMS based notice board incorporating the widely used GSM to facilitate the communication of displaying message on notice board via user's mobile phone. Its operation is based on microcontroller ATMEGA32 programmed in assembly language. A SIM300 GSM modem with a SIM card is interfaced to the ports of the microcontroller with the help of AT commands. When the user sends a SMS via a registered number from his mobile phone, it is received by SIM300 GSM modem at the receiver's end. SIM300 is duly interfaced through a level shifter IC MAX32 to the microcontroller. The messaged is thus fetched into the microcontroller. It is further displayed on an electronic notice board which equipped with LCD display interfaced to microprocessor powered by a regulated power supply from mains supply of 230 volts ac. This project is our experiment on real time noticing.

'Product Configurator' is a good solution to bring in data transparency and speed up the process. Configuration tools arebeing used on a very small scale,reasons being lack of awareness and dearer costs of existing tools. In this research work a product configurator is developedfor Hydraulic Actuator (HA).This method uses Applicable Programing Interface (API) of a CAD tool coupled with Visual Basics (VB) and MS Excel.Itis a standaloneapplication of VB and its integration into web portal can be the future scope. The final aim was to reduce time delay at CRM phase,bring more transparency in the ordering system and to establish a method which, small and medium scale enterprises canafford. Trails on the tool developed generated Part-Assembly drawings, BOM and JT files in moments.

Automatic image annotation has emerged as an important research topic due to its potential application on both image understanding and web image search. This paper presents a model, which integrates visual topics and regional contexts to automatic image annotation. Regional contexts model the relationship between the regions, while visual topics provide the global distribution of topics over an image. Previous image annotation methods neglected the relationship between the regions in an image, while these regions are exactly explanation of the image semantics, therefore considering the relationship between them are helpful to annotate the images. Regional contexts and visual topics are learned by PLSA (Probability Latent Semantic Analysis) from the training data. The proposed model incorporates these two types of information by MCDM (Multi Criteria Decision Making) approach based on WSM (Weighted Sum Method). Experiments conducted on the 5k Corel dataset demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed model.

With the introduction of the Internet as a communication medium, new forms of design practice have begun to come to the fore. However these practices often draw upon the well established canons of the design discipline. The case study of BEME.com, a commercial online portal design for female Internet users, explores the transition from the graphic design traditions associated with women’s magazines to the online design of commercial Internet portals for women. This paper addresses the relationship between design practice and the portrayal of gender in both mediums. Feminist critique of design practice has drawn attention to continuing problems women have as design practitioners and design consumers and a case study analysis of BEME.com offers an opportunity to highlight some of the issues such a critique raises. The paper draws on documents obtained from the commissioning publishing house and visual materials gathered from the online portal to substantiate the analysis.  Whilst located at a cross-road in design practice where design traditions for women’s magazines meet the emerging practice of online design, this paper argues that the case of BEME.com demonstrates that design traditions and particularly design for women and of gender, are all to easily transferred from one medium to another.

Change in any product is something that should occur on timely basis to match up with customer requirement and cost reduction. The change made in the vehicle designs directly affects various concerned agencies. International Journal of Computer-Aided technologies (IJCAx)  is an open access, peer-reviewed journal that publishes articles which contribute new results in all areas of Computer Aided technologies such as CAD, CAM, CAIM,CAR, CARD, CASE etc. The journal focuses on all technical and practical aspects of Computer Aided technologies. The goal of this journal is to bring together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to focus on advanced CAx tools and establishing new collaborations in these areas. Cloud computing provides the facility for the business customers to scale up and down their resource usage
based on needs. This is because of the virtualization technology. The scheduling objectives are to improve
the system’s schedule ability for the real-time tasks and to save energy. To achieve the objectives, we
employed the virtualization technique and rolling-horizon optimization with vertical scheduling operation.
The project considers Cluster Scoring Based Task Scheduling (CSBTS) algorithm which aims to decrease
task’s completion time and the policies for VM’s creation, migration and cancellation are to dynamically
adjust the scale of cloud in a while meets the real-time requirements and to save energy.

How important is the Digital Portfolio over the Printed one?

Today the horizons of Graphic Design applications are broadened from print media to online interactive media. This includes responsive design, multimedia, e-learning, web advertising, etc. with interactive elements embedded in it. It’s required for Graphic Designer to showcase these personalized collections of visual designs in the form of a portfolio which is a virtual showcase of designers’ work. Primarily portfolios can be designed in two formats; Print and Digital. Print portfolios are mainly hard copies which are static with very lesser amount of publicity. Best projects compiled together in a booklet format are perceived and appreciated physically. Convenience in handling hard copies and affordability in distribution are major concerns. Updating this is equivalent to reprinting entire portfolio.
