Background: Endometriosis refers the presence of endometrial tissues both gland and stroma other than the uterine cavity. Endometriosis often presents with nonspecific symptoms like chronic pelvic pain, dysmenorrhea, and infertility, making clinical diagnosis challenging. Laparoscopy, the gold standard for diagnosing endometriosis, allows direct visualization of endometrial implants. Understanding its prevalence can enhance diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. This study aimed to assess the prevalence of endometriosis in women undergoing laparoscopic surgery for various gynecological indications. Methods: This retrospective study was conducted in the Department of Gynae & Obs, Uttara Adhunik Medical College Hospital, Dhaka, Bangladesh from January 2021 to December 2021. A total of 117 cases undergoing various laparoscopic procedures were enrolled in this study. A random sampling technique was used for sample selection, and data were analyzed using MS Office tools.

Over the last few years populism has exploded across the globe and appears to be the dominant political theme of the 21 st century. As a result, fears of populist-induced market turmoil exist in financial society and mainstream economic thinking, but are these fears based in reality or only campaign rhetoric? Existing literature abounds in theories of populism and its messaging, but relatively little research has been done to examine what happens when populists actually win elections and come into power. Further, most analysis of financial markets and politics has been conducted exclusively using the left-right spectrum and has not considered other paradigms. This thesis strives to elucidate the relationship between populist governance and financial markets through quantitative and qualitative means. The dataset consists of all populist governments in Europe and Asia from 1990 to 2017 and uses a series of regression models to examine impact on market returns, volatility, and credit default swap pricing. In the second section, case studies tell the story of Junichiro Koizumi and Japan, Alexis Tsipras, SYRIZA, and Greece, and Narendra Modi, the BJP and India. The results revealed that populist governance had a negative effect on market returns, a negligible effect on volatility, and increased CDS pricing and the likelihood of fiscal default when compared to non-populist governance. Additionally, individual instances of populist governance have varying and unique degrees of impact on financial markets, but shared governance themes arose, such as unprecedented and headline-grabbing policies, a love of referendums, and centralization of power in the executive branch. 2

Resorting to "benevolent" anthropomorphism, David Attenborough's Our Planet (2019) uses voiceover narration to construct a comprehensive understanding of the vulnerability of wildlife, with the intention of inspiring empathy towards the nonhuman beings pictured on-screen. As Alexa Weik von Mossner notes, "the commercialism and sentimentalism of popular films does not necessarily stop them from being effective ecofilms; their affective appeal may in fact give rise to both enjoyment and reflection." 2 Though the comfortable immersion offered by conventional wildlife television certainly has its merits, the alluring spectacle it presents, and its strategies of inquisitive inquiry and knowledge production often violently cross a boundary between human and nonhuman experiences. Dedicated to bridging that gap more cautiously, Victor Kossakovsky's Gunda (2020) attempts to resist anthropocentric and anthropomorphic tendencies by refusing to provide viewers with the storied lives of animals and doing away with a coherent narrative frame. An intriguing example of slow animal-cinema, Gunda may facilitate an embodied empathic engagement, and exhibits some potential at inviting more haptic modes of relating to the mediated representation of nonhuman beings. Presenting a comparative analysis of these case studies, this article looks at the filmic techniques employed by "Jungles" (a selected episode of Our Planet) and Gunda in promoting empathic engagement, and explores how the fluctuation of (anti-)anthropomorphic and (anti-)anthropocentric tendencies relates to the potential evocation of empathic responses in the audience.
"Acredito que o desenvolvimento urbano sustentável impõe o desafio de refazer a cidade existente, reinventando-a. de modo inteligente e inclusivo." (p.6) O plano é criar cidades inclusivas, sustentáveis. Porém isso acaba saindo do controle dos urbanistas, dos governantes, pois as cidades não tem um número estimado de pessoas, as famílias vão crescendo, mais pessoas vão pras cidades e estas têm que se desenvolver impulsivamente, maiorias das vezes sem planejamento nenhum.

The evaporation temperature is regarded as one of the major parameters influencing the organic Rankine cycle (ORC) efficiency. Majority of contributions in literature for ORC cycle analyses treat the heat source as if it had an infinite heat capacity. Such analyses are not valuable as the resulting temperature drops of the heat source needs to be small. That leads to the fact that the heat source is not well explored and in the case of waste heat utilization it can prove the poor economics of the ORC. In the present study cooperation of the ORC cycle with the heat source available as a single phase or phase changing fluids is considered. The analytical heat balance models have been developed, which enable in a simple way calculation of heating fluid temperature variation as well as the ratio of flow rates of heating and working fluids in ORC cycle. The developed analytical expressions enable also calculation of the outlet temperature of the heating fluid.
