Biological self-healing concrete is a new idea to have concrete structures with more durability. Although, several papers have been published on biological self-healing concrete, a suitable instruction to conduct this type of studies is not reported. Aim of this paper is collecting comprehensive information about conducting a study on self-healing concretes based on previous studies. This paper present many new ideas that have not been completely study. Some idea such as application of fungi, thermopiles bacteria, mix culture of microorganisms or using of aerobic or anaerobic bacteria to design biological selfhealing concrete are suggested in this paper. Ideas of this paper can help researchers to find a suitable and novel subject in biological self-healing area to conduct a strong research.

Crack formation in concrete is common, but a typical phenomenon related to durability. Percolation of cracks may lead to leakage problems or ingress of deleterious materials, causing deterioration of the concrete matrix or corrosion of embedded steel reinforcement. Durability can be enhanced by preventing further ingress of water and other substances. In recent years a bacteria-based self-healing concrete is being developed to extend the service life. A two component healing agent is added to the concrete mixture. The agent consists of bacteria and an organic mineral precursor compound. Whenever cracks occur and water is present the bacteria become active and convert the incorporated organic compounds into calcium carbonate, which precipitates and is able to seal and block cracks. The paper focuses on the presence of botanical figures, such as flowers and gardens, in the sources of the Litany of Loreto, aiming to reconstruct how the function of these figures changed from the Old and New Testament through the acclamations of the Great Akhatist Hymn (626 B.C.) and the Aquileian version of the litany (8th century). Early patristic tradition established an opposition between Mary and Eve, the first woman, according to a soteriological perspective. However, it was not until the 4th century, in Efrem, that the contrast was extended to Eden, which surrounds Eve whereas it is embodied by Mary – see also Appiano Caprettini (1979). This successful association slowly disappeared during the western low middle ages as the cosmological function was replaced by the soteriological one in the Litany to the Virgin, following the model of the Litany to the Saints.

Self-healing concretes are being widely recognized as a remedial technique to improve the durability of concrete. Although, few review papers on self-healing concrete were published, a strong review on all aspects of self-healing concrete cannot be found. In this paper, natural, chemical and biological processes of self-healing concrete technologies were completely reviewed. The main focus of the study is for the biological processes. The review presents a new insight into the research for the treatment of unexpected cracking of concrete. The information presented in this paper can be considered significant for biotechnologists and bioprocess engineers to have comprehensive updates on the current status-quo of self-healing concrete.

En este estudio propongo analizar el concepto pedagógico de la enseñanza dancística desarrollado por uno de los personajes más destacados de la danza moderna del siglo XX, la bailarina y profesora Gret Palucca. El trabajo en cuestión se llevó a cabo sobre todo en la segunda mitad del siglo XX en el territorio de la República Democrática Alemana, razón por la cual se ha conocido poco en el mundo hispanoamericano, ya que por las circunstancias geopolíticas tampoco se le ha prestado mucha atención en el mundo occidental. Las fuentes primarias utilizadas provienen del Archivo de la danza de Leipzig y del Archivo del Estado Federal de Turingia que me permitieron acceder a información detallada sobre el trabajo y la carrera de pedagoga Gret Palucca. Metodológicamente sitúo este análisis desde un enfoque autoetnográfico que incluye la experiencia personal del investigador, considerando mi cuerpo inseparable del tema y del espacio estudiado. Esto me ha posibilitado entender la importancia y la dimensión del trabajo de Palucca en la RDA y reflexionar sobre el rol de la mujer en el socialismo del siglo XX.
