And i am getting back into the swing of things, Dear Jane wise.
Here is C-6, in indigo and white.
I prepped this block for applique a year ago! Other projects have intervened.
I appliqued a white circle first, then the cross piece on top. I really must count my blocks. I am planning a quilt of 11 by 11 blocks, rather than the full 13 by 13 blocks. I can avoid the really difficult blocks that way!

Wednesday quilt finish
And the double wedding ring quilt is done done.
58 by 68 inches. I looked up on the internet how to smoothly finish binding, and got recommendations from a quilt mailing list I am on. I had to tussle with the quilt, and the first time I tried it I twisted one end of the binding. I almost cried. But I unsewed the binding ends, untwisted the binding and tried again. It worked! And I can tell you that the directions given for double fold binding also works for single fold binding.
A close up of the edge, though not of the final join:

Wednesday Quilt progress
Hello and welcome to my blog, where I try to post weekly.
No finish, but I am so close! I am hand binding my double wedding ring quilt, which I spent much of the last 6 months hand quilting. I am using single fold bias binding (to get around those curves) and I have to hand sew it down on the front and the back. I have made it around 3.5 sides of the quilt and have only a few scallops to do.
A portion of the finished binding. I hope to report a finish early next week.
