Brand Ambassador Inspiration - grid-paper in different styles

Hi there,

here in Germany, in my federal state Brandenburg, the summer vacations will end soon... so I thought about getting crafty with some school relevant things - one of the first subjects in my mind was math - and grid paper!
Do you know the great Background Blocks Stamp with Grid pattern?

I made three different cards in different styles, but every one is made with this great background stamp and with grey as basic colour.

The first one is a masculine card, combined with the Background Blocks Cogs. Both Blocks I havn't used in the full size - I added a masking tape to my paper to keep the rest of the paper clean.
In the focal point I used a cool glaucous colour and different greys.

The upper half of the card is stamped with the patterns, in the lower part I added three times the same sentiment, embossed it in two different colours, fitting to the cogs.
To give the card a bit "more" I added some black dimensional dots in the centers of the cogs.
A quick card to make, anyway with some specials for guys!

As occasion for the other two cards I've choosen "Get well soon".
In the first one I affirmed the stenciled and pencil coloured bloomy eyecatchers with two sizes of rhinestone drops and a metallic nuvo drop in the middle. The sentiment is embossed in silver - so it's a bit sealing with the grey wiped background and isn't dominating the scene.

And for the last card for today I used similar stamps but in a different colour scheme. I returned to the more masculine colours light green, light blue, petrol.
The accents are big glittered half globes and hand drawn stamina.

The half globes are made out of selfadhesive clear rubber bumpers (or antishock dots?) from the DIY store (they are used to protect furnitures and/or doors from damages) and pure glitter.
They are bigger than usual crafty accents and you can mix your own choice of glitter or just use clear glitter and a coloured background to make them fit perfectly to your project!
Making them was a fun little extra crafting time!

What kind of design you can imagine with a grid paper background?
Hope I was able to inspire you and try something new!

Have a creative time!

TIME is of the essence...

Hey!

I've scheduled this lil post to share this card with you...

I had fun with the CAS(E) this Sketch! sketch yesterday seen HERE and below that when I made my first card the idea for this card was already forming! This time I used the current Play Date Cafe colours seen HERE and below, again featuring blue!

I took the photo last night & apologise for the bad lighting :( I'm out of the studio today catching up with my Uni friends in York and have been looking forward to spending time discussing ideas, trends and all things design related amongst other things!

I'm sure I'll have things to share from my day. Have a FAB Friday & thanks for stopping by.

Fresh Friday

WhoooHooo, Happy Friday!

As your reading this I am well on my way to Silverstone near where I used to live to camp have fun & watch some really fast racing cars! As promised I have a card to share with you all so here it is ...

It's been a while since I've used the cogs & clocks from TIME & EXTRA TIME so I decided to break them out & make a masculine card. For my card I used the current Freshly Made Sketch HERE and seen below.

It's my first time to use Freshly Made Sketches but it certainly made me think & look at my stamps differently. Well, thats all from me today, I hope you all have a FAB Friday & a good start to your weekend.

Thanks for stopping by today & I'll see you same TIME tomorrow!

To all the Dads ...

Happy Fathers Day!

I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. I'm back today to share a card I made using the current ColourQ #141 challenge colours. The photo below shows the colours & inspiration ...

Though the inspiration photo shows the green as the focus colour I kept it to a minimum on my card ...

I purposely only put 'Dad' on the tag so that the card can be used for other occasions other than Fathers Day. I really like the bold striped panel and will definitely use this LO again. As this card was so quick & simple I made another card using the same colour combo but with a little bit more green!

Again I have used the Time & Extra Time stamp sets on this card. I really must release some more masculine themed products!! Watch this space - no pun intended! Lol!

We're off out today to take my FIL to be out for Sunday dinner, it'll be the first Fathers Day in about 2 years that he is home & not away working. We went to the movies on Wednesday as a pre Fathers Day celebration to see Prometheus, it was a really good film.

I hope you all have a lovely day whatever you may be doing. Thanks for stopping by!

Two ...

HEY!

TGIF! As you can see I am on a countdown to Sunday! LOL! As Sunday is the day the Uniko Studio peeks start! Are you excited to see what's coming next?

Until then I have this card to share with you ...

For this card I used the current ColourQ#132 colours ...

This is defo not a colour combo I'd use off the top of my head as it has green and orange 2 colours I rarely use! However, I did enjoy coming them all. I kept a lot of white space & used the colours sparingly!

Well, there is one more day till peeks start & one more TIME card to share - for now anyway! Lol! Until tomorrow, thanks for stopping by today!

Clockwork Orange ...

Hey!

Happy Wednesday! I'm back today with a card inspired by a title of a movie ... 'Clockwork Orange'. For this card I used the retrosketch#6 sketch for the LO of this card. It fits perfectly with the stamps in the Time & Extra Time stamp sets!

Here's my card ...

This is another lil card measuring 11cm X 11cm. I'm trying to use up CS from my scrap pile so it goes down a little but it doesn't seem to have much of a dent in it at the moment!

As usual Time seems to be flying and there is still much to be done in the Studio! I hope you are all having a good week so far.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Did you see ...?

Woohoo it's Wednesday!

Always feels closer to the weekend when we hit Wednesday! Lol! Lets hope this sunny weather we're having in the UK lasts so we can enjoy it at the weekend, it certainly lifts my spirits in the Studio when the sun is shining!

Anyway, did you see ...? The Uniko Studio Time & Extra Time digital papers are now available for purchase through the website HERE! I have another card to share with you using the papers & one stamp from the Time set!

For this card I printed the plain distressed journal paper from the Time & Extra Time digital download on to some white CS from PTI. I like the sturdiness of their white CS. I then used 2 circle punches a 1 3/4" punch & 1 3/8" punch to punch the circles. I then did some faux stitching with a black fine liner, stamped the sentiment & adhered it to the all over clock matted to the Smokey Shadow CS base. The all over clock paper which is printed onto some smooth 160gsm paper. A few black rhinestones & ta-dah!

I have a couple of other cards to share which some FAB Uniko Studio customers have made using their Uniko Studio stamps. I do LOVE to see what others create using them!

First up is Sue from Sydney Australia ...

I love the colour combo & those little clock hands complement the stamps SO well. Thanks for sharing your creation Sue :) You can see more about Sue's creation HERE on her blog.

The next couple of cards are by Ruby...

How different do the graphic flowers from the Time set look paired with that yummy DP?! AND the paper piecing on the larger flower is just FAB!

How about a girly clocking in card creation ...

I love the LO of this card & how Ruby has made the masculine stamps girly & soft. Fab emboss resist with the cog stamp too. For more info about Ruby's cards be sure to pop by her blog HERE

Thats all I have to share with you today, but I will be back tomorrow with some much awaited information from the happenings in the Uniko Studio!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Lets Celebrate ...

Happy Tuesday!

Today we can CELEBRATE!! The Time & Extra Time Digital Downloadable papers are now available for purchase from the updated Uniko Studio website HERE

So how about a couple more cards using the papers & a swatch peek at all 10 papers available in the download ...

You might think by looking at this card that I have just stamped the clocking in card onto the plain distressed patterned paper but I have actually cut the clocking in card out of a patterned paper sheet! This card was super simple to make, I just placed 3 clock hands from the Time & Extra Time stamp sets onto an acrylic block in a random fashion & stamped them over a diagonal portion of the card. I then carefully cut the clocking in card out & stamped the sentiment in red ink & adhered it to the card using foam pads. A simple bulldog clip finishes it off!

For this next card I used the PTI banner die to die cut the 3 banner strips from different papers available in the download. I adhered the banners with DST leaving the ends of the banners unstuck. I stamped the clock face added the time & punched it out using a 1 3/4" circle punch & matted this to a PTI Limitless Layers die cut from grey CS adhering it to the card using foam pads.

Below is a swatch sample of all 10 papers available in the purchased download ...

I'll share a little bit of info about the download but here but it is on the website too! If you want to purchase the digital papers from the website simply add them to your cart along with anything else you might like to buy. When you are done & have completed the checkout process you will be emailed a link to download the file containing the papers.

In the file you download there are 2 folders, one containing A4 paper files & one containing 8 x 11" paper files. You can download this file using the link up to 2 times, so I suggest once you have downloaded the file you save it to your computer so you can print & use the papers as much as you like!

So there you have it, the first of many digital downloadable patterned papers available from Uniko Studio!

Thanks for stopping by & happy printing & stamping!

Where did the TIME go?!

How did Monday happen?!

Yesterday was Mothers Day here in the UK & so we spent the day with my MIL to be like we normally do on a Sunday. Sunday's are a family day for us to spend time & catch up, relax, eat & watch a movie! So, with doing that we didn't get much else done! As to say I didn't get the faffy bits for the website done that I need to do before the 'Apple & Web Professional' can finish the updated site - sorry!!

Anyway, those things are on #1 on my list today! Before we start the working week lets take a look at a couple more cards using the Time Papers ...

This first card uses some colourful cog patterned paper. The cogs on this paper are quite a bit larger than the stamp cog size which provides more mix & match opportunities. I used the clock face & sentiment from Extra Time for this card & kept it all super simple seeing as the patterned paper has a lot going on!!

This second card uses another all over pattern paper from the Time collection which has slightly smaller pocket watches layered one on top of the other. I have used one of my fall to sketches that I often use when using patterned paper. I used some retired SU! Sage Shadow CS & Ink on this card, an old favourite of mine!

So there you have a few more peeks at the papers soon to be available in the Uniko Studio Website Shop!! I best get on with my to do list as I don't want to keep you all waiting to long to get your hands on purchasing the digital download!! I'll be back tomorrow where I will have a couple more projects & show you a full reveal of the Time paper collection!

Thanks for stopping by!

A Day to Celebrate ...

Happy Mothers Day to all the Mothers in the UK!

I'm back today to share a few more cards using the Uniko Studio Digital Time papers along with Uniko Studio Time & Extra Time stamps. I am SO happy that you are liking the look of these papers! Thank you for all the lovely comments!

How about a bright & cheery card to start things off?!

Now, if you just glanced at the card you might have thought 'I saw that patterned paper yesterday'. If you look a little close the journal lines are missing & the pattern of the clocks is all over the paper. Again I stamped the graphic flowers from the Time set & layered them up & adhered them to a paper strip & CS mat using foam pads.

Below is another bright card! I decided to use up the piece of CS left on my desk to create this one & kept it super CAS! I simply cut a strip of CS 4.5 cm x 10.5 cm and adhered strips of the Time patterned papers to this strip. They work out at 1.5 cm wide. A simple sentiment from Extra Time & I was done!

Well I was on a roll yesterday with making cards and whipped this little one up below too! Again I was using up some CS already out on my desk from the other day hence the yellow & grey colour combo!

Such a simple LO but being a CAS kinda gal I really like how this one turned out! I simply layered a piece of the Time distressed ledger paper with a piece of grey CS. I stamped the sentiment from the Time set & adhered to the yellow CS base.

Like I did for a card yesterday I stamped the pocket watch onto a plainer distressed paper in the pack, cut it out & adhered it to the card using foam pads.

Thats all the cards I have to share today! I had a happy day yesterday inking & creating in my studio & even got some happy news when I saw the card I created HERE was chosen as the winner over on the retro sketch blog HERE

Anyway, the website update to accommodate the NEW Time patterned papers is coming along nicely & they might even be available to purchase later today, if not today fingers crossed it'll be tomorrow!! Thanks to my 'Apple & Web Professional' as he'd like to be known rather than 'tech guy'!

As soon as they are available I will be shouting it from the rooftops, here on the Blog, Twitter & Facebook!

Thanks for stopping by today!

I {heart} technology!

Happy Weekend & Happy St Patricks Day to all my Irish followers & those who celebrate the day!

I'm back today to introduce a soon to be addition to the Uniko Studio website shop ... Uniko Studio Digital. The first set of digital papers set to be released shown below coordinate with the Time & Extra Time stamp sets.

The image above is the paper pack cover which gives you a sneak peek at a small section of 6 of the 10 designs contained in the digital download.

How about a couple of cards to show you a little bit more?!

This first card uses 2 papers contained in the pack. I have used the edge of one of the papers down the side of my card edged with some smokey shadow CS punched with a Fiskars Threading Water punch. I have then stamped the pocket watch onto another paper contained in the pack, cut it out & adhered to the card using foam pads.

For the second card below I have used the same 2 papers, don't want to waste any now! This is a little 5 x 5" card. I layered the digital paper onto some SU! Basic grey CS & adhered this to the Smokey Shadow CS base card.

I then stamped the 3 graphic floral stamps onto the same paper as I stamped the pocket watch & cut them out. These are just adhered together with DST & adhered to the card flat. A simple sentiment & gem finishes the card off.

So what are you first impressions? Are you keen to see more? I'd love for you to leave a comment here on the blog :) Be sure to pop on by tomorrow for some more peeks at these Uniko Studio Digital 'Time' papers soon to be for purchase through the website

Thanks for stopping by!

Demo Day Photos Part 2

Happy Tuesday!

Today is a busy day again in the Studio packing more pre-orders & shipping them out :) it's all good fun though! I'm here today though to share a few more photo's from the demo day at The Stamp Attic

I made some bunting before I went to The Stamp Attic so that I had something to hang on the wall behind me, I just LOVE creating bunting! I'll have to make another one soon as I left this with Wendy at The Stamp Attic along with LOTS of card samples!

The photo above is a close up of the middle section. I used PTI's banner dies to create the elements apart from the stars which are the Sizzix Framelit dies that Wendy sells in the shop & now I've seen that Sizzix do a triangle & scallop triangle die set so I'll be buying them for my next bunting creation!

The bunting piece on the right is one of my favourites as I love the clocking in card with the tabs of ribbon, the layering of the clock face with the stamped graphic flower & the 3 circle stamped on the top edge accented with gems.

This section is a close second favourite as I like the clocking in card stamped as a background with the overlay of cut out cogs & clock face! The lace circle is a die from PTI's Limitless layers. Lots of bling too :)

This is a sparkly section using the graphic flowers & stamping them with Versamark & heat embossing with crystal EP. I used a craft knife to cut out the scallop sections of the largest flower. I chose red white & blue as my colours as I'm getting in the British spirit with the up & coming Jubilee celebrations!!

Now I have one more project to share today & that is the card below ...

Here I have used the pocket watch from Time & stamped & masked it up the edge of the card. I then stamped the clocking in card but stamped it off on some scrap paper before stamping on the piece of card for a more distressed feel. The pocket watch element is coloured with Copics & cut out. I ran out of 'Time' & would have love to have added some glossy accents to the pocket watch face!

Thats all I have to share from the demo day, but I will be back on Wednesday with a few more projects using some goodies I bought to use with my Uniko Studio Time & Extra Time stamps!!

Until tomorrow!
