In globalization economy era, money has strategic function in economic system. So, it has important to set up the position of money function. Money as a store of value has to be positioned in justice. Gold dinar has justice function as a store of value. Gold dinar guarantee that money will make money stability and economic stability.

This paper concentrates on six obstacles that hinder the advancement of research in Islamic Economics (IE). These are: the absence of historical studies, the lack of empirical studies, the insufficient institutional support, and the nonadherence to ethical norms of research and publication, and the weakness in vision. The paper discusses in details these obstacles and proposes an action agenda for the remedy.

Cash waqf is one of the alternative solutions amid the inability of government in providing prosperity for Indonesian society. On the other side, the system of cash waqf return allocation need to be rejuvenated in a professional way. IWD (Indonesian Waqf Deposit) as a representative of nadzir foundation of cash waqf in Indonesia taken as a case study of this research. The objectives of this study are to identify the amount of IWD's cash waqf revenue, the amount of IWD's cash waqf allocation on productive sector, the amount of IWD's cash return waqf fund and to examine how an effective policy on cash waqf allocation. This study employs AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) as main methodology in analyzing the data. To measure more effective criterion of cash waqf return fund allocation, this study use good deed effect, free rider effect and income redistribution effect. The study found that the collection of cash waqf fund still far from expectation. Meanwhile rehabilitation of poor family is the first priority of cash waqf fund allocation.

In the year of 2000s, there is a great issue to reuse gold as money or at least as monetary reserve or back up system. History has shown that money which is backed up by gold or as goldmoney itself is more stable compared to the fiat money. In this case, Indonesia as a big gold producer should realize this phenomenon. The paper tries to explain the feasibility and adequacy of gold as money exchange in Indonesia, and the ratio between dinar (gold money) and dinar (silver money). The result shows that actually gold in Indonesia is quite enough to be used as money, in condition that it must be supported by activities that are not only creativy money supply. In addition, the ratio of dinar and dirham may exist again in stable condition, since the value of gold may increase again as it is used in monetary sector.

Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dana, perusahaan harus memiliki dua jenis sumber yaitu sumber internal yang berasal dari laba ditahan perusahaan, investment deposit, cadangan persediaan dan sumber-sumber eksternal yang berasal dari penerbitan obligasi, kredit yang ditangguhkan, surat utang, saham biasa dan saham preferen. Ketika obligasi digunakan sebagai sumber keuangan, biasanya didasarkan pada beberapa faktor yang mendukung kemampuan perusahaan untuk membayar kupon obligasi tepat waktu. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian arsip (dokumenter). Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif karena menjelaskan variabel-variabel. Variabel dependen yaitu rating, variabel independen, rasio keuangan yaitu DBA, CUR, ROA, CTD, OPM. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yaitu data laporan keuangan perusahaan yang telah dipublikasikan dari tahun 2002-2006. Data kemudian diolah dengan SPSS 12.0 for windows. Hasil olah data dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Secara keseluruhan (simultan) rasio keuangan dengan DBA, CUR, ROA, CTD, dan OPM mempunyai pengaruh terhadap rating obligasi syariah. Berdasarkan uji parsial (uji t) bahwa dari 5 hipotesis yang diajukan CUR dan OPM berpengaruh terhadap rating obligasi syariah tahun 2002-2006, dan DBA, ROA dan CTD tidak berpengaruh terhadap rating obligasi syariah tahun 2002-2006.

The Awareness, Preference and Distinctiveness Of Islamic Home Financing Type In Indonesia. This study attempts to evaluate public awareness of domestic financing that enhance Islamic Shari'a on it. Islamic banks have grown so rapidly in Indonesia and also offer financing for household finance products. But not all Islamic banks offer financing for households because it requires strong funding for long-term project and a good credit analysis to meet the payback period. Data analysis in this study using factor analysis, Likert scale and preference information, it also conduct an analysis of website information content and can enrich the study respondents. The results of the study is a diversified financial schemes that need to be analyzed further, and significance is an important issue to promote this finance program.

M onetary crisis, which leads to unstable economic condition, has caused a num ber o f banks being liquidated. This research is conducted by using m ajor accounting ratios in order to identify the characteristics o f liquidated and restructured banks, o f which are listed in Jakarta Stock Exchange. The growth o f bank industry was highly related with Paket O ktober 1988. This condition is m arked by increasing num ber o f banks, fro m 40 companies in 1988 to 240 companies in 1994. This research is conducted based on a three p erio d fin a n cia l information, commencing 1994 to 1996. Proven hypothesis concludes that the num ber o f restructured banks is greater than o f liquidated banks. On the other hand, the hypothesis related to leverage and gain has fa ile d to be proven. However, the big sample that can be analyzed through boxplot m ay be the caused to this result. PENDAHULUAN Pengukuran kebangkrutan menggunakan rasio akuntansi jarang sekali digunakan untuk suatu bank. Oleh karena itu, beberapa rasio tambahan akan digunakan seperti rasio efisiensi, yaitu mengukur beban bukan bunga dan operasi berkaitan dengan pendapatan. Isu mengenai likuidasi bank memang sangat baru, di Indonesia terjadi pada tahun 1998 sedangkan di Meksiko teijadi pada tahun 1994. Jadi merupakan suatu hal yang penting dalam pengkajian lebih lanjut. Salah satu penyebab dari keadaaan perbankan yang tidak sehat adalah adanya Paket Oktober 1988, dimana bank baru boleh didirikan dengan syarat yang sangat mudah (hanya dengan Rp 10 miliar), diberi kebebasan untuk mengatur sendiri suku bunga dan kemudahan

This research was conducted to determine the comprehension level of mudharabah contract by customers in Islamic bank (Indonesia). The questionnaires was sent to customers who have bank account under mudharabah contract (150 sent, final sample 101). Total banks involved were 5 out 10 Islamic banks in Indonesia. The results of this study indicate that some customers are familiar with the mudharabah contract in Islamic banks as well as the risk of mudharabah in Islamic banks. This research may conclude that if customer saved their fund for a longer time in a syariah bank, the customer should understand if they may bear all risks for certain cases.
