Some updates

I can't believe how long it's been since I actually did some stitching and finished something.  This is my May page for the SAL and it includes a little lady stitching (Thank you Patty for sharing) and a Shepherd's Bush design called Hold Hope.  I've promised myself that next month's page will have no cross stitching on it.  I'm getting lazy with my techniques.

I've added some patterns to Never Enough Stash.  If you're interested in Little House, Shepherd's Bush, Country Cottage or Sweetheart Tree, you might want to check it out.
It's funny, but I'm still finding patterns and fabric that I must of put away in a special place so I wouldn't use it for anything else and then quickly forgot about it.  Ever do that?  Apparently, I'm quite good at it!  As I come across these, I'll be sure to list them.
If you haven't checked out our SAL lately, you might want to catch up on some absolutely stunning needlework.  I'm thrilled with how everyone is doing their best and most beautiful work and sharing it with us.  I'm always stunned with what stitcher's can do.
Till we talk again,
Blessings, Barbara

Cleaning out and my loss is your gain

For those of you who remember,  Jenn was coming down to visit and we were going to clean out my sewing room.....boy did we ever!  I use to have most of my patterns in a 4 drawer filing cabinet.  Well the cabinet is gone and all my patterns now fit into a box that paper comes in.....know what kind I mean?  Well my loss is definitely your gain.  I'm selling all these patterns in boxes marked 1 thru 9 and I can guarantee that every single one of these boxes have hundreds of $ worth of patterns in them.  I will be mailing these boxes out via Priority Mail Flat Rate Boxes and that is included in the price for the box.  Some of the designers are:
The Drawn Thread
Just Nan
JBW
Little House Needleworks
Dinky Dyes
Shepherd's Bush
The Sweetheart Tree
Victoria Sampler
La D Da
Homespun Elegance
Cross Eyed Cricket
M Designs
Prairie Schooler
and many, many more.  Plus alot of these patterns are brand new and have threads, fabric or beads included.
The price for each box is $60.00 but don't forget that includes the shipping.  At this time, I prefer to only ship within the U.S. and the payment type will be Paypal.  If you see a box you like, please email me with the number and I will get back to you asap.  First come, first served.  All the pictures are "clickable" so you can get a better look as to what's in the box.  As the boxes sell, I will remove the picture.

I will try to answer any questions you might have but please don't ask if a particular pattern is in what box.  I really didn't pay attention to what went into each box.  I just want them gone!!!!!
If you are interested in anything, please email me at [email protected] and I'll get back to you asap.
Thank you for looking and later this week I will try to get the magazines in some kind of order.  If you would like to take them off my hands, I would be grateful.  They include:  Just Cross Stitch, Cross Stitch and Beading (Australian), Needle Arts and many more.  There will be two boxes because there are so many and I'd like $50;00 per box.  These will be shipped in the large Priority Mail Flat Rate boxes.
Blessings from a very tired Barbara

Some updates

I feel like it's been forever since I posted and I thought I'd let everyone know what's going on.  First off, our daughter, her husband and their four boys have been visiting with us for 10 days and my babies just left today at noon.  We had such a great time with them.  We went to Gatorland Zoo here in Orlando so they could see all the crocs and allies.  The boys got a kick out of that.  I have a picture of all of them holding a snake and a gator which I will post at a later date.  Daniel, her hubby, has promised to email me all the pictures that they took at the zoo, beach and Universal Studios and I will post them when I get them.  One I do have is of me and all my grand babies around me.  This doesn't happen very often so I'm very happy to have this picture.
From left to right:  Dalton, Wyatt, Me, Dakota, Peyton and Cauy.  I love my grandbabies!!!

Now about my DH surgery.  We went to see the surgeon this past monday and it was his recommendation that we wait.  He didn't feel that the valve was leaking enough to warrant major surgery at this time.  My DH was very happy to hear this!  The anuryism was about the same.  He didn't feel that surgery was needed immediately so they are going to keep watch on my DH and if it warrants it some time down the road, then we will deal with it then.  I want to thank you for all the prayers and wonderful messages.....the stitching world is a great world filled with kind and loving people.
I haven't been doing much stitching for the last 10 days so I have to get busy and catch up on mine and get some finishes posted on the SAL page.
Until later, Blessings,
Barbara

Updates

Alot has been going on in my life lately and I thought I would take a moment to catch up.  We had our appointment with the doctor today and he answered some of my DH questions but he preferred that we wait and talk to the surgeon about some of them.  I am making an appt. with him tomorrow and we'll see what he has to say.
Our daughter, her husband and 4 boys are in town visiting with us and we're having  a ball with them.  I will be taking some photos of them and posting how large these boys have grown.  Dalton the oldest who was born on my birthday is now 15 and 6 feet tall.  It's just not right that a grandmother should look up at a grandchild but that's what I'm doing.  They are all such handsome young men and I'm very proud of our daughter and her husband.  It's not easy raising children in today's environment.
I've had the above bag finished for several days but just haven't gotten around to posting it.  I'm sure everyone recognizes the little girl stitching...she's such a cutie.  The bag will be in my store if you're interested.
I want to thank all of you again for your prayers and good thoughts concerning my DH.  I will be sure to keep you all posted.
Blessings, Barbara
