Beauty

Hello!
Phew it's hot! Lovely :)
While I wait for Mikael's friend to arrive I thought I'd quickly share the June crop class project.
I have seen a few of these about, the Maya Road DT ones are stunning! I had to have a go!
The banner uses gorgeous MME Quite Contrary DP Yum!
Each piece is about 3 x 3.5" so the total length is about 18".

I've made the rosettes again! eek! We got in a muddle with these at Christmas I love them but some of the girls have sworn never to make them again! I didn't have any red glitter thickers so I grabbed some chip alphas from my stash and covered them in copious amounts of fine glitter. Oh what fun that was! It was everywhere except where it was supposed to be! lol!

I used a mix of nesties and punches for the circles and a cropodile to punch the little holes. Again, lacking the correct embellishment for this piece I grabbed a chipboard shape, some chipboard scrap, glitter and the dreaded glue to make my own.
I couldn't not add some flowers! I have used my favourite homemade stencil, must see if there is a punch :) Finished with a K&co wild Saffron chip flower.
Lovely candy cane stickles to finish.
My banner took a couple of days to complete with all the glitter needing to dry but the girls at the crop made a good start on theirs, hopefully they will bring the finished banners to the July crop.
Thanks for stopping by enjoy the sunshine :)

crafts 4 eternity recipe challenge #39

Hello!
Wow it's been hot here! and a busy week too! Thankfully it's Friday and time for another Crafts 4 Eternity Recipe :)
This week's recipe is
1. Use the sketch
2. Use a nursery rhyme theme
3. add a charm
I'm thinking that I missed the flowers last week lol!!
The nursery rhyme I chose was "There was an old women who swallowed a fly......"
I love reading that story in class! I'll have to have a look for the book to read to the boys.
The image is from our sponsor this week Robyn's Fetish. Looks like she just swallowed the bird...hic!!
I have coloured with Copics and used a fab tutorial from an amazing artist Chrissy Armstrong for the background.

I have been playing about with hatpins this week, bit of a nightmare to find the right size pins but they finally arrived today and I had to test them out!
Hop over to the C4E blog to see what beautiful Nursery Rhyme cards the DT have done and of course join in the fun for a chance to win 3 digital stamps!
I am also entering this into...
2. The Creative Cottage challenge (pearls & swirls)
3. Fun with Shapes & more (distressing)
4. The ABC challenge (xtra dimension)
5. Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge (digital image)
Thanks for stopping, Have Fun!!

Splash!!

Hello
This layout I made  for the UKS May week 4 challenge. I loved doing this one! lol!
I have seen a few layouts like this about and have wanted to have a go. It has lots of dimension and glitter glue!
The challenge was to make a layout that was not 12x12, add something big and use bright colours.
The DP I have use are some left over pieces of Fancy Pants Summer Soiree from the C4E Sunkissed kit HERE
The photo is of the munchkin in a paddling pool at Nana's recently. I got some fab photos of the kids!

I love the big buttons from the Homespun collection (there are a few pack left on the C4E website) Bright colours and gorgeous detail!
I'm off to play with the June Crop goodies! Thanks for stopping by!

Cupcakes

Hello!
Thank-you for the get well wishes thankfully the cough is going!!
As promised a couple of weeks ago I am back with the cupcakes!
The cupcake boxes were for my  sister and BIL who had their birthdays last weekend!
My sister is a pink girl, she loves it, wears it and would probably drive it if she could lol! So  it had to be a pink cupcake for her. Strawberry flavour too!

For my BIL it was a strawberry flavour pink cupcake, iced with blue strawberry butter cream! The kids wanted me to ice it in pink too! lol!

The cupcake looks a bit green in the photo but it was blue!
I'll be back tomorrow with a sneak peek of the C4E crop layout and class project!
Thanks for stopping by!

crafts 4 eternity recipe challenge #36

Hello!!
A little late with my C4E Challenge card this week, I've been coughing like a trooper all week, it really is hard to cut straight lines when you are coughing!! lol! Luckily I still have fingers...just!!!
So scoot over to the C4E blog>>>>>HERE<<<<<<< To see the beautiful DT gallery and challenge recipe.
My card this week is to go with last weeks cupcake box.
I have been struggling with pinks and blonde hair recently so this week I got a few new distress inks and tried again. Still needs some work but it is definitely better!

I had to attack the card with stickles, well it would have been rude not too! lol! I added some twinkling H2O in pewter to Tilda's dress and gloves so she has lots of twinkle.
The DP are Basic Grey Nook & Pantry and cardstock is Bazzill.
I working on another cupcake box for a birthday this weekend and with the C4E crop next weekend I have to get the crop Layout done and the class project! Busy week ahead!
I'm off to watch the final of Britain's got talent and blog hop. Who's your favourite to win? I like quite a few! I have a soft spot for Spellbound as I used to be a gymnastics coach!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Hugs
