glitz n glamour girlz ATC swop

Good morning!!
Today is our second wedding anniversary!!! Can't believe it was 2 years ago! and I'm still trying to scrap all the photo's!! LOL!!!
During the summer Holidays my UKS team mate Purple organised a little team ATC swap for us. She gave us the theme of Summer! I couldn't resist the Summer Soiree cards for this project! you can get your mitts on them HERE!! I started making these ATC's and was loving how they were turning out so I had to make a set to keep too!! It meant It took longer to finish but worth it!!
There are 6 ATC's in this series and here they are!!!
I cut out the Surfin text from one of the cards to add on to this one. Plenty of glitter glue added too!!!
I cut a second Kite to add on to Let's sail away to lift it off the ATC. The text away was fiddly to cut out but worked well.
Probably the longest one of the set to make with the hand stitching!!!

I wanted to include some of the fab quotes on the cards too, a bit of cutting and re-arranging to fit the ATC and of course glitter glue!! LOL!!!
The boat on this ATC came from a very old HOTP scrapbook book!! The waves at the bottom were cut from a second card and added on top of the boat.

I have added a flower to the bottom of this one using one of my favourite stencils I made by printing a digi flower image!!
Just have to wait now for the swaps!! lol!!!
Lots of twinkle for these ATC's, I really have loved using the Fancy pants Summer Soiree collection!!
Have a great day! Thanks for stopping by

c4e September ABC challenge

Hello just a quick catch up post to share this challenge ATC with you.
The C4E September challenges are now uploaded to the website, actually they were done the first week of September but I am behind!!! On a good note I have completed the ABC ATC set!! YAY!!! but you only get to see one a month!! lol!!
This month is the letter H you can make any project featuring something beginning with the letter H or as I have done the actual letter.
I have used the WRM monograms available HERE I have inked the letter with a whispers brown inkpad, matt onto Barkley Bazzill CS. The little buttons are from my stash.
For the background I stamped using THIS stamp ( hampton arts ATC 2) onto some WRM urban window PP which is available HERE I have given it a watercolour wash of brown to distress it a little and inked the edges.

The butterfly is an Autumn Leaves, Rhonna Farrer stamp. I have stamped onto some of the WRM PP cut out, inked and curled the wings. It was attached with double sided tape to keep it quite flat, and finished with a knotted ribbon.
Phew!! There was a lot to this little piece of art!! LOL!!!
Time to get some work done I think! Do check out the challenges on the C4E website there are prizes up for grabs too!!!
thanks for stopping by have a good Monday!

c4e July challenges #1

I have ATC's to share with you today. I made about 13 ATC's last weekend some I can't share yet as they are for challenges, but these I can!!
The first set is for the C4E July ATC challenge we are asking for ATC's with a friendship theme.
I've done a set of 8 ATC's each with a different friendship quote.
I have used bazzill CS and daisy bucket paper from the c4e May kit. The Quote is written on a printed digi journal tag, which I have glittered!

The second ATC is for the C4E ABC challenge this month which is the letter F. I have used WRM paper and monograms, lace from stash and the stamp from the c4e July kit.
I pinched one of the ATC stamps from the store shelf to stamp onto the PP with brown stazon ink. I painted a soft brown wash over the PP with watercolour paints. I painted the torn edges instead of inking them this time to give a softer aged look.
All the C4E July challenges can be found HERE
Have a lovely evening!

c4e june abc & atc challenges

Thank-you for the lovely comments about the family planner!
I have 2 ATC's to share today. Both are for the C4E monthly website challenges which are HERE
This month there are a few prizes up for grabs so do check them out if you have time.
The first ATC is for the ABC challenge. Over the last few months i have been making a set of alphabet ATC's for this challenge, I should do numbers too! lol!
I went a bit mad with the sandpaper again for this one, it was made at the same time as my DAD card for the c4e weekly sketch challenge so I used up the scraps for both the ATC's. The PP is WRM as is the letter E. Paper blooms,CS and big brad from Bazzill.
The second ATC is for the ATC challenge, this months theme is Dads. The PP are WRM, paper bloom,CS and brad are Bazzill. The Heart shape is from the set of digital stamps that go with the c4e April kit.

That's all from me for today back soon with a few LO's I've done.
Thanks for stopping by

Tilda & friends ATC challenge

I found time this week to have a go at the Tilda and friends ATC challenge It is their 1st birthday this week...Happy Birthday!!! so this weeks theme is birthdays!! I don't usually add this type of sentiment to my ATC's I tend to keep them general so adding the sentiment was a little hard, but hey what's a challenge for if not to challenge you!!! I was making my card for tomorrows C4E sketch challenge and had some left overs so this ATC matches tomorrow's card, which is for my mum who's birthday is today..ish!!! She's a leap year baby!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUM!!! {{{{HUGS}}}}

Tilda is coloured with pencils and markers. The PP is from a QVC kit. The little bit of lace I found in my recent "spring clean" of my craft room, it was with some other bits my mum had given me!
Enough from me more work to do!!!
Have a good day, back tomorrow with the C4E sketch challenge.

magnolia & friends ATC challenge

Hello
This is the first time I have had a go at the Magnolia and friends ATC challenge. I have been meaning to join in for a few weeks now but just haven't had the time, which is daft as ATC's are quicker than cards (usually...lol!!!). I am VERY VERY late with this it is due tomorrow/today (it's nearly 2am!!!)
This weeks challenge is to wrap something around your ATC, ribbon, wire, wool etc. My first attempt was ok, but I had another in mind when I saw the challenge. In issue 48 of Simply cards and papercraft there was a project for a Jacobs Ladder mini album. I thought this was a fab idea, and with the ribbon wrapping around the pages I thought it would suit this challenge.
So tonight I put a fab film "No Reservations" on the laptop, moved the laptop to my craft table and got making. I thought I was going to be tangled in ribbon and get it all twisted and wrong...but...it worked!!!!lol. so here they are....

Materials for ATC#1 are all from stash. I was going to use this Tilda for the Mellow Yellow challenge at PTW but put green on her so she wasn't all yellow...whooops!!!LOL

This is the front of the Jacobs ladder ATC, I added some extra wrapped ribbon for good measure! And when you open it out....

You find Tilda and Maggie!!!

The Paper I used for this is the Monkey Love digi kit, link at the bottom of the sidebar. I coloured Tilda and Maggie with pencils and H2O's.

Well I am off to add my link to the challenge blog now and then off to bed.

Thanks for looking

Good night

Lucy ATC

Hello
Wow thanks so much for all the lovely comments left. I have had a fun time visiting everyone and adding you all to my feeds.
I have seen some fantastic blogs this week lots of inspiration. Looks like I am going to have to buy some more stamps! It's my birthday next week, maybe I will treat myself, any suggestions?
I managed to find a couple of minutes to do another ATC with the lovely Daisy Bucket, Playful Petals papers....

This one is called "Lucy" again after one of the papers used.

This week seems to have flown by, the kids are back to school next week. Mikael starts Yr2 on Thursday...can't believe he will be 7 in a couple of months!!

Both the boys have grown over the summer, Alix starts pre-school in January! 3 in February! It's true what they say, you blink and they have grown up. Still I have lots of photos to scrap and some fun projects in mind, if I ever get off this computer...lol

I will be back tomorrow with the C4E Sunday sketch Challenge.

Thanks for stopping by

take care

Sunday, 24 August 2008

Hello
Nice to see you again!
It's Sunday Sketch Challenge at the C4E Blog again.
I was thrilled to use some of the new stock that came in before I went to Cornwall for these. The Daisy Bucket, Playful Petals collection is lovely, really cheerful papers.
Here is the sketch I had to work with...

The card is very 3D, lots of layers. I made my favourite style of embellishment for it, I know I've used it alot recently...lol.

I haven't made any ATC's for a while and I wanted to show that you could use a card sketch for other projects too.

I have called the ATC "Gracy" after the paper I used. I have a few more planned which I will complete later this week, when I get a few spare minutes...lol!!

Take a look at the C4E blog, Tuesday tips will be back again this week and there is lots more planned for the next few weeks.

Thanks for looking

Take care

Michele x
