I personally don't like ordering from the NYX website, I feel like the shipping charges are way too much and it always takes forever for my order to arrive.
I'm very happy to say that I received my order in about 3 days and only paid around $40 for everything! I'm definitely going to continue shopping at cherryculture.com
Anyway, this is what I got, along with some swatches and thoughts about the products.
I used it both with and without a primer, for about the same amount of time, in similar circumstances and more or less the same look. I would definitely recommend wearing a primer under this base because the shadow colors will be so much more vibrant and last a little longer.
I've wanting this for a long time! I'm so glad I finally got it...the colors are beautiful and the pigmentation is really nice. This palette is great for an everyday neutral look and I love how big the mirror is.
Yay! These have finally been crossed off my wish list! Like most round lipsticks, they are creamy and long lasting.
This is my first time trying cream blushes! I was always too scared of over applying them and smearing the rest of my makeup off...but I finally had enough guts to try them out. I think these two in particular work fine on their own but would also be great as bases.
As you can see, these are really similar! It's hard to tell from the swatch, but in the picture above this one, you can see that Rose Petal is more of a muted than Natural.
Theses are really pigmented and can be worn alone. Natural is my new favorite lip gloss! I wore it to the Taste (of Chicago) a few days ago and it stayed on for hours through all the eating and drinking!
I've been ISO a fine eyeliner brush. I usually use an angled brush, but I am loving the precision of this one!
I really like this Lip Spa. I think it's great for an everyday look because it provides moisture for your lips with a hint of color.
I hope you all had a great 4th of July!
