Happy Reaper

I've used a Happy Reaper from Bloobel Stamps for my inspiration today.  Lisa is sponsoring Outlawz Sketch challenge this month.

I've coloured him with Copics and promarkers and distressed the edges of the image wit Black Soot ink from Tim Holtz.

He's been framed with some black card with an added black Happy Birthday sentiment from Craftwork Cards.

Grim Reapers (or Happy Reapers in this case) are one of my hubby's favourite characters.  Something to do with Mort from Terry Pratchett books I think ;)    So he may be getting this card for his birthday!

Here's our sketch for today which I've twisted for this card.

My design papers are from a set I won called Urban Style.  Unfortunately there's noting on them apart from that to say who's made them.  I've also used a bit of left order red paper from Lili of the Valley

My only embellishment are a couple of tiny bells coloured white tied with string.

Hope you like my inspiration for today and its not too scary :D

See you at the challenge

A Little Creepmas for my Hubby

MY hubby love skulls - he has about a million t-shirts with them on :D
I decided to do him a skull Christmas card and used  an image I got a while ago from Smeared Ink called Creepmas Centrepiece.  Unfortunately Smeared Ink has now closed and I'm not sure where you can get this image now.

Now this was a bit of a rush because I made this Christmas Eve - nothing like leaving something to the last minute - but I just seemed to be running out of time fast.
The image is coloured with ProMarkers and the background with Copics.

Papers used are some black card stock and red papers from Maja Designs and UHK Gallery.

The Creepmas sentiment was made with some glitter letters.  I've also used some black gems and some red heart stickers which I got in Paperchase.

My hubby loved the card I'm glad to say - especially with the Gothis style writing I did inside :D
