Just us girlz....

Today is our new challenge at All Dressed Up in the Facebook Group.  This month our theme is GIRLS RULE.

I've made a summer scene up using two of Wendy's images.  Seashells and Sandy Beach.

I've coloured the images with Copics, fussy cutting the Seashells girl, she's got sticky pads behind her to make her stand out from the background, which gives her a little extra shadow.

No design paper from me today, makes a changes ;)

Beach Boy

I'm joining and an creating a little extra new release inspiration this month at All Dressed Up.

I'm using Duck Swim, you can find him here in the shop.

I've coloured him and the cloudy sky with Copics.  I've added a little embossing enamel to the clouds.

The sky and frame have been cut with a die I got from Dies to Die For.

The image itself I've fussy cut out and used some sticky pads to raise him up.

I've used some enamel dots it green and orange then doodled some balloon strings underneath.  I've also doodles some seagulls into the back ground :D

Finally to finish off a wood chip sentiment colour with Copics.

A little scattering of embossing enamel in the clouds is all I've added today to complete this single layer card.

Sand Castles

It's new challenge day in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group.  We had a girly theme last month so this time it's the turn of the boys.

I'm using Sand Castles for my inspiration, you can find it here in the shop.

I've coloured the image with Copics making. single layer card.

In the sky and the dark areas of sand I've added a little embossing enamel for a bit of added extra.

Two All Dressed Up Newbies

I'm showcasing a couple of new release images from All Dressed Up today

This one is called Pool Ready you can find her here

She's been coloured with Copics and I've kept the style simple.  The sentiment was printed at the same time as the image.

The design paper from Lemoncraft and black card to frame has been cut with a die.

The second image is called Key to the Door you can find this one here.

Also coloured with Copics, it and the back card behind have been cut with Spellbinders dies.  The image has been distressed with Black Soot ink from Tim Holtz.  I've then sprinkled some embossing enamel around it.

The design papers are from Lemoncraft.  I've cut a couple of banners out with a La La Land die.

Added embellishments are silver dragonfly beads, Wild Orchid craft paper flowers, same lace, a pearl string and some pearl gems.

We're all goin' on a......

well it is that time of year, the kidz are breaking up from school.  

Someone said holidays to me a few weeks back, well that was it my mind went wandering off on seaside resorts and old style traditional British holidays.  Have you ever seen the beach huts that line some of our shores?

Any way, enough rambling, I've used Copics, a black polychromos pencil and a white gel pen to colour this image called Beach Hut Holiday.  You can find it in my Etsy shop here.  Quote SKIANDREA10 at checkout if you want 10% off ;)

Showcasing the image for you today, I've just framed it with some black card.

Summer time

Our theme at Fussy & Fancy Fridays for the next two weeks is Summer Fling!  I wasn't sure what to create for this at first, so I had a dig around in my images to see what summer images I had.  This one if from All Dressed Up called Summer Time.

I've coloured the images with Copics.  Instead of cutting the image out, I've cut the centre of some black card out using a Spellbinders die then used it to frame the image.

My design papers are from Lemoncraft, First Edition and Maja Design.  I've used some off cuts to create the pink and yellow banner using a La La Land die.  There are plenty of pearl gems to add some texture and detail, 

 

The film strip is from Tim Holtz and my flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

If you look to the right of the image on the black you should just be able to spot a tiny camera sticker that I got in Paperchase.

Breezy Beach Walk

I've finally had time to get Breezy Beach Walk coloured up and a very simple card made.

To get this look I've used a combination of ProMarkers, Copics, polychromos pencils and a white gel pen.

I've just framed it with some back card and added a "Summer" sentiment.

Mum There's a Shark in the Bath!

Kids once they're into something new they want to do it all the time.  This is what I image the boy from my new image Jaws is doing.  He's learning how to snorkel so he wants to practice in the bath.  AND then there's their imagination ;)

This new image come in two forms one with the bathroom background and one without so you can use his as a beach / summer scene as well.

I've made a single layer CAS card to showcase the image for you.  It's been coloured with ProMarkers and poychromos pencil because I wanted to get the much paler washed out shades I can achieve with ProMarkers.

All I've done is a little simple doodling and hand written JAWZ 4 in the bottom right - because there are four shark fins :D
